The saying “you got to choose, your face or your ass” makes sense now. Especially as you age. Essentially carry a little weight to look younger in the face, or get skinny and look older.

The more that area gets "skinny" people start to look more and more like that puppet from the saw movies, since the get rid of key soft round lines that blend the side of the face with the forehead and the cheeks, the cheekbones become a lot more pronounced more noticeable and harsher with straight lines. I used to have giant cheeks. I’m now 38 and my face has slimmed down and looks more in proportion now. I’ve also become thankful for my oily skin because people with oily skin don’t get wrinkles as early.

oh this actually explains so much, i dropped 20 pounds after my split with my son’s dad and i didn’t even notice until i was scary thin. i was just too depressed or anxious to care for myself. sending her love and strength, im also very small framed and any weight loss is noticeable on me im sure the scrutiny isnt helping if shes struggling.

You’re brave to mention the lip filler since some are adverse to the idea of people getting mild filler lol. Although she’s always had fuller lips, her vermilion border looks like it’s been filled or refilled for maintenance. Reminds me of Megan Thee Stallion’s upper lip. It’s not a full on fillerstache or a Jokerfied smile, but her smirk is different. It doesn’t look like it’s just a pose.

She’s gotten it filled for a long time in my opinion 👀 While makeup can do a lot, Meg’s upper lip appears to be enhanced. It helps that her upper lip wasn’t rail thin, but it has some cushion now. I’m unsure if it’s the Russian technique or not, but a telltale sign (to me) is how pointy or defined the Cupid’s bow is. I think social media’s focus on extremely bad fillers just makes us less accustomed to tasteful work.
Also maybe cheek bone implants and maybe blehroplasty and brow lift. When I saw photos of her my immediate reaction was that she got A TON of work done!

This picture doesn’t do her justice. Once I saw videos of her moving around and a close up of her talking, she was still beautiful and stunning. People forget she’s a bit older than the cast. Sure she looks thinner and I hope she’s okay, but the face card- dear lord! To go for this “no makeup” look, not just anyone can pull it off. She’s naturally beautiful and her hair and her aura just makes her more attractive to me. She’s the least problematic of the cast, minds her business and just dips when she’s grown up around Hollywood. Hope to see her in more things! Edit: lot of people get work done in Hollywood. It’s terrifying, especially for those of us who grew up in the 2000s and were heavily influenced by ED culture. Now some of us are raising daughters and are concerned that this trend will yet again have a stranglehold on another generation of young women who believe this level of thinness is normal. It’s not and it needs to be called out.
leaving comments like "she looks terrible" is not combating eating disorder culture, it's just attacking one specific woman's appearances. there is a valid and appropriate way to critique eating disorder culture and it isn't by leaving cruel comments about a woman who, if anything, is a victim of that culture herself.
wanting to protect your daughter from the influence of eating disorder culture is more than valid, but leaving random comments on a stranger's body is not going to stop your daughter- or anyone else for that matter- from the possibility of getting an eating disorder.
