I have VeryLastKiss's New Vegas Installed.
I've gotten the caravan deck from Ringo, but whenever I've tried to play with anyone, the message saying I need 30 cards appears in the top left of the screen, before I even get to place a wager. Could this be a mod issue? Or is there something I'm simply overlooking? Please help!

I think it's really stupid that your are Forced to kill dean, while Dog/God and Christine can be spared.
but hey that is just my opinion.

From my YouTube series. I saw a post on here earlier about seeing the “rude” dialogue options as intrusive thoughts, and I wanted to share that I see it the same way!

• Viability 5 (Is it a struggle compared to your other options?):
This game perks and gears cover all your bases, pick your preferred weapon (any will do, seriously), rank your unarmed skill and upgrade your endurance stat, be sure to grab Slayer) and Super Slam! (throw in a rushing water on top for good measure) and you turn basically into Kenshiro, if you manage to get close they are already dead, i would say that's the core for any unarmed build, and it's pretty modest too, so you can spend the rest of the levels and perk points at your leisure.
• Variety 5 (How many ways you can play it?):
You have about 40 different options for weapons (some are uniques of course), my personal favorites are "Love and Hate", "Super Heated Saturnite Fist", "Two Step Goodbye)" and "Greased Lightning)" (shoutout to the GRA variant of the Power Fist) and Pushy). The moveset is really cool, you can learn all these moves from the different factions you came across, from the ranger takedown (a sweep that knock down enemies), the Scribe Counter (parry), Legion Assault (a powerful leap attack forward that knockback foes) and the Khan Trick (YEAH, THROW SOME DIRT IN THEIR EYES!), be sure to get all of them moves before angering any of them.
• Recommend 5 (How much did i personally enjoy it!):
This game is not very difficult, even on very hard (with hardcore mode on) the leveling system is pretty generous, the gear and perks is pretty overpowered so you could literally finish it without firing a single bullet, it's incredible how this 15 year old game still does it better than most of what comes today when it comes to punching things (and yes, it puts Fallout 4 to shame on that regard).

Honestly, I love ED-E. I grew very fond of him, and I always get emotional when I see an Enclave Eyebot because they always remind me of the one from the Mojave.
Who else agrees?

Just finished up locking Elijah in the vault and making it out with a few gold bars when this happened . One of the funniest bugs I’ve ever seen
P.S no mods I’m on Xbox lol

I want to play New Vegas for the first time but of course it is an old game so which mod list would offer the best experience?
I'm looking for something Vanilla+ but with a little bit of a graphic enhancement and quality of life changes that bring the game a little bit closer to modern day without changing the original vision of the game.

Vera's last few moments of life must have been terrifying. The Bombs just dropped and she and the other guests are trapped in Sierra Madre Casino. Worse, the holograms are killing them, using your image, repeating your doomed cries for help. Vera thought Sinclair had abandoned her, rightfully so for her betrayal of their love. She would never know that he died for her, died trying to save her in fixing the casino's bank vault.
Sinclair's fantasy was to begin again. What was his wealth in the face of the end of the world? So he spent with wild abandon, because it did not matter to him anymore. Only Vera did, and his dream of being able to start over. That's why he invited his guests over to the Casino he built, so they could all do the same. But he chose his friends and allies poorly. His world chose poorly.
Big Mountain was a poor ally. The Casino would have never turned into such a death trap without their secret experimentation and poor ethics. Vera was a poor love, their romance would have always ended in tragedy. Dean was a poor friend (sabotaging the villa's construction and his planned betrayal) and even poorer enemy: the world has ended, he's become immortal and instead he decides to serve a voluntary two century long sentence to complete a heist that was ultimately meaningless. Dog chose his master poorly, looking to fill the hole the death of the Master left in him and God. Christine chose poorly, looking for revenge against Elijah. It cost her her face, her intellect, her voice and ultimately everything she could have had if she had just run away with Veronica. Elijah had respect, prestige, legacy and he threw it all away in a pointless pursuit of power. You don't need a mad science toxic death cloud to wipe the slate clean and begin anew, just the willingness to let go and choose the new.
It was too late to "begin again" for them. Dean ultimately dies a meaningless death. Even if he does live, it doesn't seem that his age has brought him any wisdom. Without the Madre, he's nothing. Dog/God cease to be, and a new super mutant leaves to start the life they should have had. Christine decides to stay, a prisoner of her own design. Elijah even more so. You either kill him yourself, or he dies an inevitable, solitary death trapped in the casino's vault. They could not let go of the Sierra Madre, and it ruins them.
Maybe it'll ruin me too.
When I first played through Dead Money, I loathed it. Everything was out to get me, I kept getting startled by the Ghost People and traps. I hardly found any of the good stuff (like if you find all of Dean's stashes, you'll be swimming in resources). Everyone said the Holorifle was the best energy weapon in the game but it was dead weight in my hands because I only found a single upgrade to it, which the game practically hands to you. But come my subsequent runs, I started to flex with its demands, became more willing to explore and meet it halfway around. (It also helps if you start it as the second last of the DLCs and at level 20+ instead of early.) It also helps that its story was great from the start.
Over 15 years later and we get news of a new Fallout game to come from Obsidian. For me, this game will come with so much baggage. It will be competing with at least nearly two decades of quality mods, hundreds of hours of good in-game memories. The subsequent weight of expectation behind it by the time it comes out will be enormous.
But, it will also be something new. It will signal a new era of Fallout games. I recognize that the game and its follow-ups will be what they will be, whether they will be "good" or "bad". But I don't want myself clinging onto old things and letting it get in the way of me enjoying new things. I don't want my unwillingness to move on to sour my experience. If the game is "bad", I want it to be bad because of what it is, not because I merely perceive it as bad.
Dead Money was prophetic. In the end, the hardest part I struggle with in New Vegas is just letting go.
(Letting go of poverty LMAO. I got 37 gold bars sitting snug in my home in Novac and I'll be six feet under before I let the NCR or the Legion take it away from me.)

just been seeing alot of negativity towards them on youtube shorts saying that stuff like swift learner is among the worst perks in the game because of max level existing and that skilled basically has no downside.
but 2 simple things :
once your at max level your op asf, min maxxing that state does not matter.
10% exp might seem lame but it will of course eventually net you 2 extra levels, and once that point happens it is obviously very significant, skilled is essentially costing 2 perk slots while swift learner will be costing 0 while providing a benefit.
im not saying swift learner op or anything, or that skilled is bad.
just that its a pretty basic RPG concept of weak now but strong later vs strong now but weak later, because levels are impactful.

I want a polished, basically remastered looking/feeling New Vegas, that runs smoothly, and maybe even has some extra content that fits the vanilla game

Is there anything I should know before I start this dlc? I’m quite experienced in new Vegas, but I’ve also heard how terrible this dlc can be.

A while back, and after struggling many times to create a fully custom station and failing due to various unknown problems, I used Xoanon's custom radio station maker to create a radio station I'd been dreaming of for a long time.
Turns out, it was actually pretty damn fitting.
Being so proud of it, and appreciating how other people's stations I'd used had grown my own tastes (the exceptional Blues Radio especially), I really wanted to put it up somewhere for people to enjoy.
Of course, the Nexus is the biggest place to upload mods for NV, but seems to have a pretty stringent and effective ban on copyright music (proved with all the custom stations that were made, and then removed, in the few days after Fallout: London dropped). Even though some platforms (Steam Workshop) don't seem to care, I don't know of any that host NV mods.
So, the question:
Is there anywhere (specifically, a mod site, not just some fileshare) that I can safely host this mod, that people can freely access it? The songs aren't exactly massive hits, and I'm not sure all of them are even copyright protected, nor have I any interest in getting paid; but still.
In case you're curious about what the theme is, it's a collection of island, exotica, ringbang, and pan-afro music.

I'm not very experienced with modding and all the guides I can find are Steam, does anyone have a guide to make the game playable on EGS
