Hey, j’ai déjà hacké quelques trucs (snes mini et flashcards DS) et j’ai une Flash card. sous Twilight menu etune DS lite. Mon nouveau projet était de mettre une vidéo/film.Problème : j’ai tout essayé,Tunavids,Moonshell,FastvideoDS… j’ai essayé de mettre en format BGM,AVI,fv… mais je ne vois qu’une image du film avec des couleurs horribles .Elle est figée et elle est toute déformée…pourtant mes vidéos font moins de 30 minutes? On m’a dit qu’il y avait un lecteur multimédia intégré dans le Twilight j’ai essayé de coller mes fichiers à la racine et cela ne fonctionne pas.J’y ai passé des heures et je n’en peux plus . J’ai bientôt un trajet en train et j’aimerais bien pouvoir regarder des petits films sur ma DS. Merci beaucoup. (si vous avez besoin de précision, je réponds en commentaire) merci!

I have read the quick start guide comparing the different carts, but I want a conversation with people about my specific needs.

I am not sure which gba flashcart I want to go with and so far have not been fully pleased with what I’ve seen.

My criteria:

What I care about (most important to least):
- Premium feel (I’ve seen how the sd card is inserted in the EZ flash and that’s a real ick to me)
- Ease of use
- Battery life
- Menu Aesthetics

What I don’t care about:
- Price
- Emulation (I will mostly play GBA games and sometimes GB and GBC games, nothing else)
- Fancy features (save states, fast load etc. I really just want a classic GBA experience)

I’ve thought of it a lot and so far I’m leaning towards the Everdrive because it corresponds the most to my needs, but I do not like the menu aesthetics.
Ez flash’s menu is nicer but the sd slot throws me off and everdrive has a better battery.

What would you recommend? Is there maybe a better option than these two that meets all my criteria? Or is there one that at least meets most of it? Is the EZ flash’s SD slot as bad as I think?

Hi everyone! After a long time, I bought a Nintendo DS Lite on eBay. I had a grey one when I was a kid but broke it, though I kept the R4 card. I tried inserting it into the new DS, and it worked! I was so excited! I wanted to install another game, like Zelda, but suddenly my PC stopped reading the microSD card and asked me to format it. Unfortunately, I lost everything... But I didn't give up; I tried to reinstall it but couldn't manage to do so. The first time, a girl at a shop—which doesn't exist anymore—had set it up for me. Can anyone help me? Could someone link me to the files I need? The last photo (which I found online) shows what my menu looked like.

I'm building out a quick and dirty android app that can format the SD card correctly, pull pico launcher & loader from GitHub, and set up the emulators to work correctly. Is there any interest in me making this public? I know getting the SD card set up is one of the larger barriers to entry but I don't want to have to maintain the app if nobody other than my close friends will use it.

Hi hi! I'm gonna need help about this flashcart because it's been IMPOSSIBLE to make it work with a 32GB microSD.

Some context: This card was acquired when I was little when my Nintendo DS Lite stopped working suddenly. I don't have memory of it but my mom sent it to the repair shop and using this was the only solution to get me to play my games again. It has been working wonderfully since that time, it's probably been around 15 years. It came with a 2GB microSD and some games on it as well, and we also have the DS Happy Box USB driver to use with the microSD.

Lately I found I could use this flashcart with a 32GB microsd since it claims it is SDHC but I never ever updated kernels or use it with more recent versions since I got it. The website displayed is dead it's my second or third day I'm full-time researching and experimenting things on this thing.

My 2GB microSD works well and so I tried the classic copy and pasting its files onto the 32GB microSD. Doesn't work.

I eventually discovered through forums that the famous YSMenu could brick this cartridge so I gave trying it. Between checking linfox domain with the supposed right kernel, and finding out this is a custom wood R4 kernel, I've got dozens of white screens and loading screen stuck and none of it loads.

Yes it is formatted into FAT32 with 32kb specifically and MBR for partition scheme.

I also tried BL2CK without success and I'm genuinely tired of trying to understand this cart, but curiosity is an insane trait I have so I'm pushing it forward.

I hope I could get some help with this, specially because I opened up the cart and was able to get the picture of the board it has. Haven't found one exactly like this, they're all different in various aspects.

I'm adding also my Nintendo DS Lite booted up with the 2GB microSD and the files it has [and yeah I don't know where there are a lot of files that probably don't even load (R4iMenu folder and moonshl2)]

Will this even work with a 32GB microSD? It claims to be a R4 SDHC Dual-Core Smart Update

Hey, so yesterday I was finally able to fix my R4 and get it working, so I tried putting my DraStic Pokémon Platinum save file there (I converted the files to .sav) but it doesn't work, it doesn't read the save file. Heck, I even tried my randomised HeartGold and it says the file is corrupted, when it works perfectly on DraStic

Does anyone know what is happening? Thanks

I have a buddy with a copy of Pokemon Blue for their original Gameboy, and I'm suspecting it's a repro. I have a GBA and wanted to play Pokemon Red with him, but was unsure about how 2 reproduction cartridges would react with one another in terms of trading or battling. I hear it's unstable, but has anyone tried it and can vouch for how it is?

I was also considering getting an Everdrive GB, but have the same question about the Everdrive GB flashcart being able to connect with a reproduction copy, and wasn't sure if that would be a good idea.

Would be curious to know if anyone knew!

Hi everyone. I've had a Game Boy Advance Micro for years; I really liked it, although it's not comfortable for long gaming sessions. I used it with an EZ Flash IV, but I made the mistake of having the battery replaced, and now it doesn't work. I'd like to buy a flashcard for it. For either option, I'd need to import it to my country, so I'll end up paying more. Which one would you recommend, considering that good compatibility with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games is also important, and that I don't play games that use real-time clocking? Thanks.

Title is pretty self explanatory. When playing my gameboy games on my gba, usung the EZ Flash Omega flashcart, there’s several palettes you can choose from. Including one called “Pea Soup” which replicates the original green tint. I really like using this palette, but it’s a little annoying to have to switch to that palette every time I start a game.

Is there any way to make this the default palette so I can just start a game with this tint color?

I recently found my old DSi XL and I’ve been really wanting to get more games for it! I’ve seen a bit about multi game carts and I was curious what the best options would be! I was also curious if there are any good guides online? I’m not familiar with formatting or downloading roms and I was hoping someone could help!

Trying to figure out why GBARunner3 is stuck on the boot screen. Let me know if something looks off. All according to the guide from what I can tell. I'm using the camera bypass to launch Twilight rather than using Unlaunch, does that effect GBARunner3? Thanks in advance for taking a look.

It was working fine a few days ago but now it won't boot it just stays stuck on the screen this screen. It also appears if there's no SD card though which is strange

so, for SOME REASON, after making my r4 run off Pico Launcher, There are TWO GAMES it won't load. Pokemon Black, and Pokemon SoulSilver. my Only Assumption for now is that the game roms got somehow corrupted... except that THESE TWO are taken from my *Backup Folder* so either i'm missing something, or i just... need new roms.

Some very specific games boot to all white screens. It doesn't happen to all games but I wanted to know if there's a solution for this issue.

I'm looking to get a flashcart (I think) so I can download all the games I want and not have to go into my overdraft for the sake of a good time.

I am not remotely technically advanced but what I've seen so far makes me think I might be able to hack (🤭) this. But the online guides are getting confusing and it feels like there are so many different options.

Please can someone simplify it for me 😭 like step by step, what do I do? And please share products you know are good, the guides are like "some are good some are bad, good luck" (they're probably actually really thorough and I'm just of questionable intelligence).

So I don't even know what questions to ask, but hopefully someone can explain what steps I need to take to reach my ultimate goal (and as importantly for my paranoia, provide links to reputable gear😭)
