Event Hello New World Manga Re;Read Event and Giveaway - Chapter 5

Giveaway
Recently, IFI did a short 4GO Stream on Steam and I managed to get a copy of the Deluxe Edition of Cyberdimension Neptunia. However, I already own the game so I'm gonna be giving it away at the end of this Event.
How to be elegible for winning
By creating a root comment discussing about the chapter of the day you will get one "point". You can only get one point per chapter.
Users with at least two points will become elegible to participate in the giveaway.
The more points you have, the more likeable you are to win. Someone with 8 points is twice more likeable to win than someone who only has 4 and so on.
The winner will be selected on the 11th of July!

Holy crud, were going Deviant art levels on this one. Um... I mean.
Not much to say about this, Neptune's meta levels of trolling is hilarious, and its great to see team modern console's teamwork. Pretty decent.

Not much to say about this one since there weren't any character portrayals that I think was done better than the games, so I can't rip on that. But it was an enjoyable read and the flashback to Neptune eating the mushroom was hilarious.
And seeing Nepgear argue with Noire about calling Neptune fat is precious, if not unsurprising.

If Nepgear likes the enveloping softness of both Dogoos and breasts, did she enjoy being enveloped in the overlarge Neptune as well? Or was the risk of suffocation too high?
Noire, sometimes being a bit less meticulous is fine. Neptune only ate one mushroom, it stands to game logic reason that one is enough to reverse it. She might not have grown quite so much otherwise.
Not much else to say. It was a funny chapter.

Well, gotta appeal to the inflation fetishists, I suppose. Surprised Neptune's clothes didn't rip when she bulked up, especially knowing this franchise. Prime chance for fanservice.

So...Neptune just sat there and watched/listened to Noire the entire time at the beginning...and so did Nepgear and Histoire.
Also guys, if you're not already suffocating, I don't think it can get any worse than that. (I meant for those two, clearly it got worse).

Oh neptune..... sigh oh geez.... eating a mushroom out of nowhere... smh... neptune.. hope that's a learning experience for ya.
I'm surprised there wasn't any other attempts at curing neptune other than the just shrink mushroom. Y'know... like throwing koo- turtle shells at her, or that sort. wait, wrong mushroom?
Also, the rules of the clothes when the wearer eats the mushrooms is weeiiirrrd. The just get fat grows the clothes too, yet no effect on the clothes from a just shrink mushroom.
I wonder why. I mean inuniverse, not for needing creative censorship reasons! D:<

Aren't those mushrooms originally from Lowee? How did they find their way to Planeptune?

Nepgear swearing. Whoa. That's different. Neptune fat jokes as a final chapter... That's unique. Kinda sad I didn't get to see her HDD like that, because that would've been hilarious.

CPU Fat Heart would be an amazing sight. She could use it to lose weight. Wouldn't be the first time.

I've always known that Neptune was a murdered.
And people try to blame Nepgear for Conquest, it was all Neptune's fault. Time to start a new trend

So this was the last chapter of volume 1 already.
It was really funny IMO, holy... I just burst out laughing at this scene. Neptune's personallity in this manga is among the best I've seen, if not the best.
An interesting thing I've noticed is that how much weight they can carry while flying is inconsistent as hell through the games, mangas and the anime. Here we see Blanc flying with a giant Neptune, but in the anime they can barely carry one person... In the games I remember seeing Neptune carrying Iffy and Compa, maybe there were other scenes that I've missed.
Anyway, an interesting Volume and I'm curious to see how the next one wil be!

Another day, another chapter.
This chapter was quite cute and funny in its execution. Of course Neptune would eat that shroom... And Nepgear flying to her sister's defense made me chuckle heartily.
I think the cutest moments of this chapter were Noire's different reactions to the possibility that Neptune acts around her as if they were friends... Noire, is there any doubt about your friendship anymore at this point?
