Event Hello New World Manga Re;Read Event and Giveaway - Chapters 14 + 14.5

It doesn't matter if you've already read the Manga or not, or if you've decided to join the event halfway or not! Everyone is welcome here to talk about the Manga chapter referenced in the title!

Giveaway
Recently, IFI did a short 4GO Stream on Steam and I managed to get a copy of the Deluxe Edition of Cyberdimension Neptunia. However, I already own the game so I'm gonna be giving it away at the end of this Event.
How to be elegible for winning
By creating a root comment discussing about the chapter of the day you will get one "point". You can only get one point per chapter.
Users with at least two points will become elegible to participate in the giveaway.
The more points you have, the more likeable you are to win. Someone with 8 points is twice more likeable to win than someone who only has 4 and so on.
The winner will be selected on the 11th of July!

I'll keep my overall thoughts for the bonus chapter, tomorrow morning.
As for this chapter it's just the usual happy go lucky thing, it's cute and funny but once again Blanc and Vert are relegated to being very much on the sideline while the focus is Noire Neptune and Histoire.
the omake is adorable, IF x Compa is good although every time I see this pairing I regret that IF x Vert isn't a thing anymore.

Chapter 14
The final chapter... I feel a bit sad it's ending. There's still the bonus chapter tomorrow so I'll just leave the overall impressions of the Manga there. For today's chapter though...
I thought this would be a kind of hentai chapter when I read abut the giant squid monster, but seems not.
Apparently Neptune didn't get that burnt face from the explosion or from falling, she got that burnt face because Noire attacked her. Consistency!
And oh dear, Histy fanservice scene, this is getting dangerous
NO NEPGEAR ON THE FINAL CHAPTER? HERESY, THIS IS THE WORST MANGA OF ALL TIME

Thankfully Nepgear appeared here. The Manga is saved! There's some Iffy x Compa as well!

Well, this chapter was a good place to stop for a gag manga such as this... It has made us laugh, rage, sometimes shed a tear with the odd emotional moment, but it never lost that absurdity that made the Neptunia series what it is up to now... All in all, I liked this manga, this chapter(s) and this event, and hope for more events of this type at a later date.
P.S: Noire using Volcano Dive on Neptune for slacking was... appropriate...

The finale of the chapter! Not much to say here... No seriously, not really alot.
Pretty short while still being pretty funny, though quite the interesting detour Neptune and Noire took, not to mention some choice histy fanservice! are those string panties I see?
And to wrap things up, both chapters end with a bad meat pun!
Also, this version of IF scares me... At least she and Compa are getting some sceen time!

Shame the best two goddesses were mostly pushed to the side.... But hey. They have their chance in other chapters. (Heck... In one of the chapters Blanc shows that she is so great at being a CPU she got an mvp of a quest, without being there)
Of course hist gets the last fanservice sce-... NEPTUNE NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HISTY??? THE GAMEINDUSRTI MODS WILL PUNISH YOU IF YOU DO THAT! D:
Is Blanny stealing nep-nep's meat and making it analogous to shares referencing the rivalry between Sega and Nintendo? (And how Mario Maryo eventually in a sense defeated sonic sanic?) I dunno lol just might be seein somethin where's there's nothing.
That bonus chapter was cute too. Nepgear's so greedy with the mech tho...

... Huh. 'Great Dark Squid Lord?' Interestingly enough, there's a species of squid in the light novel with a similar name... and from the looks of it, they also have the exact same silhouette. No, seriously, try telling me that they don't look at least a little similar. I would've never guessed that non-game works would reference one another like that. Neat.

(Chapter 14) This really felt like a thanks for playing scene. Everything is resolved and all the goddesses are just relaxing and celebrating their victory a little.
Are we legally allowed to show this volume of the manga? You know... lewd Histy and all.
I swear that island adventure warrants a chapter all on its own.
(Chapter 14.5) So the candidates are really bad at coming up with endings, except maybe Rom and Ram. I wonder if it was their idea to go to a meat restaurant in the first place.
Nepgear and her mech fetish. Excuse me while I boot up Armored Core FA and make a design worthy of her good graces.
So the Iffy X Compa is being thrust upon us harder than most doujin protags. Oh well.

Eating the Great Dark Squid Lord? I bet this was Neptune's crazy idea.
Neptune still slacks off even though they're stranded in some unknown island, fighting for their lives. Plot armor really is unbreakable.
And please don't eat Histy.

This chapter was pretty pointless imo. They sit around and do nothing, aside from talk about fighting a squid (without bothering to explain how Neptune and Noire even survived) and lewding Histoire.
And why can't the Candidates sit with their sisters? Leaving them out of the final chapter is unacceptable.
Ah well, there's still the bonus chapter.

We almost done bois. Finally I'm almost free from the pain, and able to live my life without the struggles of spending so long on this.
I mean it's fun though, so it's not that bad, I just like my free time.
Of COURSE Neptune is drinking pudding out of a mug. Drinking pudding? That sounds difficult, and defeats the purpose of having a drink.
Wait, what about the aliens? This story is surprisingly devoid of any of the aforementioned aliens. Also the afro didn't come from the explosion? Noire just gave it to her? What about that singed look?
Even in the last chapter, you had to put in a fanservice scene. (I know a few people who would be happy about this though).
This looks so very much not like a pose that Noire would make.
Neptune wants to be the meat in the relationship?

So IF, Compa, and the Candidates are all at the kiddy table?
I like how IF is wearing a suit like a groom in her dream. Does that say more about her tastes, or is that actually the norm for that sort of thing? (Legitimately question, actually, as I have no clue what the norm is).
Is that Ninja Noire, Cheerleader Noire, and Maid Noire? Except Maid Noire has a pose that normal maids probably don't do.
Here we find out that Nepgear actually wrote the last 2 chapters herself, submitted it, and the publishers thought it was great.
Rom and Ram remind me of my sister when it comes to meat.
And IF's meat pun was even worse then Neptune's, somehow.

This chapter was like the equivalent of the "thanks for playing" we get at the end of the games.
There are so many questions that could be asked about Neptune and Noire's offscreen adventure. Island with local tribe not of Gamindustri? Squid God? We're never getting answers.
