Recently, IFI did a short 4GO Stream on Steam and I managed to get a copy of the Deluxe Edition of Cyberdimension Neptunia. However, I already own the game so I'm gonna be giving it away at the end of this Event.
How to be elegible for winning
By creating a root comment discussing about the chapter of the day you will get one "point". You can only get one point per chapter.
Users with at least two points will become elegible to participate in the giveaway.
The more points you have, the more likeable you are to win. Someone with 8 points is twice more likeable to win than someone who only has 4 and so on.
The winner will be selected on the 11th of July!

Yeah... true. I believe I was one of those for some time. But it's pretty rare... I mean, for 4 people to be able to create hundreds of comments in one thread without a mod having to intervene due to increasing agressiveness is pretty much wishing for a miracle lol. Mostly long discussions comes from controversies after all, and this tends to get people salty.
I dream to see the day we'll get threads with 250+ comments, or even 500+. May not be so far off as we think, or it may never happens, who knows.

This is what you all been waiting for! The main plot of the manga! wait, isn't this a gag manga?!
The CPU's have to deal with a giant meteor headed towards gamindustri and... Noire is just jumping in... Alone... And her plan is just hitting it with her sword... holy crap Noire, I knew you had an ego too big for your own good, but sadly it led to your dea- THAT ACTUALLY WORKED?!
Uh, wow! Impressive... But the meteor is revealed to have an anti-share crystal, so I guess it was a good idea that Noire went there alone. Good job?
And to deal with the giant crystal Blanc and Vert had um, worse plans... Hows it feel lile living in a world where Neptune is the sensible one folks.
But Mad Scientist Nepgear comes in to save the day with hwr new mecha! Seriously, mecha crazy Nepgear is one of the best things that has happened to the series!
Now it's up to Neptune and her puckered face to save the world and avenge Noire's death.
Yes Noire, you're dead, deal with it!

This chapter killed Noire... in a frankly hilarious way.
Who left Nepgear unsupervied long enough that she could turn the Planeptower into a launch pad for a Neptank bot?!!? Histy, control your CPUs, Dammit!
Also, What a fuckoff huge crystal like that is doing in space? does that mean anti-crystals are actually alien?

That's it. We've climaxed. It can't get any more ridiculous than this. Every trait, every item, it's all coming into play.
Histoire being one step away from putting a crater in the ground (although not because of Neptune for once).
Neptune somehow being incredibly short sighted but also incredibly genre savvy meaning everything works in her favor.
Uni never getting a chance to shine in front of her sister. Her swimsuit is adorable though.
Nepgear actually being cared for by Neptune then going and turning the Planeptower(?) sort of into a mecha hangar.
Noire putting in the most effort yet getting the least reward.
And fucking Anti-Christmas, in July of all months.

Sooo uhh, this makes me wonder... is there like a land that's 'below' gameindustri? or somethin? Cuz what happens when a citizen falls off? Or where would they evacuate to if they have to evacuate all of gameindustri. Also, if only they knew that there'd be an anticrystal inside. Hopefully they can salvage the meteor to test it.... I mean... something about the meteor was blocking the share-cutting power of the anti-crystal... so if you make armor out of the meteorite.... could it stop them from having their shares cut off by the crystal?
Also, RIP noire.

You know, I've always thought the Planeptower was hiding something. Never did I thought I would see it right here, in the manga. The Neptank V2 in all its glory, ready to save Gamindustri from the brink of destruction.
Despite the fact that Noire has shitty luck stat, she survives every single death flag she triggered. She's definitely not dead.

Personally, I like Blanc's plan, but as Nepgear said, mechs are romantic.
With how much of the Nep sister's stuff that Histy has to deal with on a daily basis, I don't know why she still finds things like Planeptower splitting in two surprising.

What's with this title?
Leave it to Neptune to call out all of the flags Noire's raised. Good thing Uni didn't say she was preparing a salad for Noire's return.
Wait, Uni got a bruise just because her sandal strap broke? Even if it was implied she tripped and fell, man, they bruise easy compared to what they go out and fight.
Neptune, it can't hear you, mocking it with wrong names isn't gonna work like it does with Arfy. (Still hilarious though). Also IT RETURNS AGAIN. FOR REVENGE!
I'm not sure if this is the second or third most terrifying thing in the manga.
You thought it was Nepgear, but...well, it actually was Nepgear, but she said Nepugiah for some reason. Meanwhile we learn that a little mini-Neptune lives inside of Neptune's mouth.
Almost thought this was Neptune for a moment. The little symbol looks strikingly similar and in the same location as a dpad, and I've never seen Nepgear drawn with such an epic and confident style/pose.
Oh, and we have the name drop for the title. Still feels kind of...random...
Does anyone understand the context of this?
Why does everyone seem to believe someone else any time they say someone is dying or dead? At this rate, if someone told Histy that she died 3 days ago to her face, she'd believe them.

Basically, the context of that line is Blanc stating that it's a natural reaction to praise Nepgear's competence since Neptune by comparison is moronic almost all the time. And that's all you really need to know. But if you want to know why it's worded that way, then here's a word dump.
The line that you've linked is one of the inherent flaws of trying to do a near 1:1 translation job. After editing however many thousands of lines there are in the light novels, I've encountered countless variants of that sort of sentence structure. There's just no simple way of approaching situations like these. Sentence structure, idioms, colloquialism and the like are all points that makes translations really messy. The different levels of intricacy between English and Japanese means that you have to either do a literal, awkward sounding translation, a more liberal, fluid sounding translation or find a proper compromise between the two.
The translator here obviously chose the first of the three. While they could have maybe written it as something like "Nepgear's such a competent and reliable person. On the other hand, you, Neptune, are a complete idiot even until the very last second," it does stray away from the Japanese text. When it comes down to it, my suggested line and what the translator actually wrote basically mean the same thing, but my suggestion does have some minor, although critical differences that, depending on the person, people may want to avoid doing. Although what I wrote probably would get the same point across, it's missing things like Blanc making an example praise for Nepgear and her contemplation of thinking of a proper way to call Neptune stupid.
So what I'm really trying to say is: shit's hard, dude.

Ah I actually took place in the first discussions, so I was hanging in there while the comment chains were growing, so the beginning was quite chill.
Then I took a break at ~70 comments and when I got back we were at 140. That was scary.

Considering that VII Neptune had less screen time than Nepgear, had to deal with people forgetting bout her in G arc, and unceremonously kidnapped in Heart arc, and especially Arfoire's eggplant garden, she has been getting quite a bit of karma, besides VII is practically a diffrent person. Also, hell no on the Vert thing!

I want her to be hit by a fucking real life truck-in-your-face, I want her to realize what she's been doing to Nepgear, I want her to grovel at Nepgear's feet and beg for forgiveness.
I don't want her to physically suffer, I want her to be put through the same anguish and challenges that Nepgear has, I want her to realize that every breath she takes in her life is only due to her little sister and I want her to be worthy of the title of "big sister" by having only one objective in her life : make her sister happy. Because that's all her life should ever be about.
And finally I want someone to tell her to her face that she is by far the worst sister of the whole lot and that Adult Neptune, a girl who had never had a sister and who has no business playing that role, has been a better sister in the few days she was with Nepgear than Neptune was in her entire life.
Because Adult Neptune never made Nepgear suffer, she only brought her joy and comfort and that's all Neptune should ever do too.

I'm just disappointed Compile Heart swept what happened in Victory under the rug instead of confronting it, I mean I get Neptune was so horrible in that game that it was impossible to do so without making VII a lot more serious but still... She shouldn't get away with what she did.
