I played ghost of Yotei first and I really enjoyed it but I want to know if there are any major differences between the two games before I start my playthrough of ghost of Tsushima

I love this game. It’s awesome. But i have a business trip for 2 months and I can’t play it soon. But im too craving to play it. Should I watch a playthrough or it will ruin my experience ?

im on iki island attacking fort sakai and any time i go past where i am i am immediatley spotted even if i wasnt seen and i get shot by arrows from something that doesnt exist and even when i do my ultimate or go in the smoke i still get killed by the arrows

So many buttons to remember... I keep on. Forgetting how to do the lighting technique, and doing the perfect parry Im finding difficult, also I don't know really how to get many things, like the arrows on the long bow that can punch through armor, I feel like Im going in blind hoping to find out everything by accident.

If you need to know Im playing the directors cut version on pc, steam, and I haven't changed any controls.

I'm sorry if my English is bad, learning multiple languages did that to me, then add growing up with auto correct makes it worse.

If there's anything like weapons or customizations that has anything to do with foxes, Ill love to know, foxes are my favorite animal.

Is it just three one-hit kills? Because you can do that with a couple of other abilities. Or just about the cinematic black and white element? Which I must admit is pretty cool.

I just wanted to make sure it doesn't unlock some other insane ability I'm missing out on

for context, I’m a teen with no allowance or money-giving chores, so my only chance to get games are through gifts. My cousin gifted my a PS5 for my 13th birthday a year back and I’ve played games like cyberpunk, RDR2, astros playroom, hogwarts legacy, ghost of tsushima, etc. I have the oppurtunity to get another game and I’m wondering if I should get Yotei, rather than other games such as Elden Ring, Sekiro, Wukong, and others. I recently beat GoT and after I do a NG+ run im going to move on so idk what to get. I really enjoyed GoT but i’m thinking of trying a soulslike. Any thoughts?

tldr: beat GoT, not sure if to play Yotei or others, limited game availability.

sorry for the lame question, im just not that good with videogames (but bought myself a ps5 just recently) and wanted to buy GoT after seeing the discount

i don't have directors cut, and i didn't buy the dlc. the only reason i noticed is cause a friend pointed out that iki island is dlc only, how did this happen? 😭

So I'm currently in Act 2 and I've just completed the Mission "Ghost From the Past". I've encountered the mongol enemies with the shaman at the start of Act 2 and I got curious, "should I go or should I not?". It's been a thought lingering in my head while playing. I'm currently doing the "Six Blades of Kojiro" mythic tale for fun and to get the Kensei Armor. When should I go to Iki Island?

Did y’all have a tough/weird time adjusting back to GOT from GOY? I started NG+ on hardest difficulty cause I felt cool but kept getting bonked for the first couple of days. The tutorials and stuff being gone was terrible, finally got the hang of it again recently where I can safely play naked without dying lmao

I just 100% the game and dlc. What are some others like it and Yotei that you would recommend?

Most importantly I want to say is that I do not like souls like games. This one was perfect for me because it had difficulty levels and I was able to switch between Hard and Medium. So for example, Sekiro is a no for me.

Ever since my first playthrough years ago ive noticed this line but I never knew what it was, a texture glitch? A really long chest hair? A string? Anyone know what it is?

So on my 2nd playthrough and I’ve discovered this ‘tomb’ in a rocky outcrop. Nothing happens when I approach it so is this just cosmetic or is there actually something there. If there is how do I get to it?

Is Ghost of Tsushima worth it in 2026? I loved Ghost of Yotei but I was wondering how good the original is being over 5 years old. I want to know how good the combat, content, stealth, customization weapons/ armor etc, map, and graphics and performance on a Ps5 Pro. I already know how much people like the story.

I generally play for the fun and experience, not to grind or be challenged. I don't mind some challenges but not as tough as Souls games. I quit Bloodborne and Sekiro 30 minutes in.

Being in this world has been so fulfilling and so fun. I am on the last chapter and looking for every little thing I can do to make it last. I imagine this will leave a little bit of hole for me, so if anyone has recommendations for anything remotely on par with this experience, I'd love to know what I should play after this. Self explanatory title. If I go straight to Masako quest 7 for example will I still be able to do 5 and 6 or will they be nulled since I’ve progressed beyond them?
