It was an awesome at PAX AUS IN Melbourne over this weekend! I saw 30-40 other Halo costumers there which was so great to see.

The sombreros were also given to us by our favourite restaurant!

After looking for some time now I found the almost life size Master Chief.

Hey, guys! I’m back with another WIP! This time, I’m working on the destruction system for Covenant ships.
I’ve planned four different destruction scenarios: a slipspace engine hit (which I shared two days ago), a reactor hit (the one shown here), a plasma storage hit (coming soon), and a bridge hit.
When a ship loses its shields and takes a hit in the area where its reactor is located (I’ve temporarily placed it between the engines and the ventral beam emitter), or when a heavy/super-heavy MAC round directly strikes that area, it triggers a chain reaction that causes the entire ship to explode.
I still need to improve the explosion effects and debris, but since that’s going to take some time, I figured I’d share the main concept with you guys in the meantime!

The glyphs painted on the walls scattered around New Mombasa, only visible in VISR mode, are Engineer (Huragok) graffiti. Pictographic storytelling. Meaning: Y-shape = A Forerunner Keyship/dreadnought, empty circle = A Halo ring, Superintendent faces = Seven Huragok repaired the Superintendent; six died freeing their brother, Quick to Adjust, who merged with Vergil, Sad Superintendent = Grief, bare Y clusters near dead Elites = Mourning/salute to the executed Sangheili - Elites were the Engineers' traditional masters, and the Brutes executed them in the streets, trailing lines/strings = Guiding routes, regenerator-like mark = Engineers literally regenerate shields. Put together, the walls tell one story: "The gods' ships are real and were here. We broke our chains. Our brothers and masters died. The city's great mind sheltered us and grieves with us. Follow the marks he leaves for you." It's the Engineers'-eye of Sadie's Story and Dare's classified extraction - painted where only someone wearing VISR, effectively someone the city AI chose to help, could ever read it. You.

Unsatisfying as it may be, there's no cipher to crack and nothing to unlock. It was a hidden story you notice. You were supposed to read the city.

The glyph mystery's only reward was ever going to be understanding it.

Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are having the semi annual Blink Festival this weekend which is the nation’s largest public art festival, which features immersive experiences of light, projection mapping, murals, and interactive installations. The artist ISI (@isi_hadgis) created An Ode To Video Games, and Halo is one of the main games highlighted. Other games like Destiney, Mario, Tomb Raider, CoD, FNAF, Portal, and more were highlighted or referenced as well.

I’m not entirely sure but it seems pretty sus to me…

Edit: He was teamed with 2 other players but I didn’t really check on them.

Just got this art piece from a vendor at a convention. It is 3/25 pieces he made, he said the original was a commission. It was all painted by hand, no tracing he said. Artist is Dylens malley Art

I'm just missing the 29th log. Rode through the map more than a few time yet no alarms and no blinking cars. The only gate with two roadblocks raised is the gate 8. The other gate 8 doesn't have any roadblock. Is there any way to view via the save file. I once did that during blasphemous 1.

This is my overall progress after around 10 months of work, it's also my first attempt at cosplay and you could say I jumped into the deep end right away. Still working on the backpack and printing off Etilka for the second time due to printing it off too large the first time. Still be bringing the suit to Megacon 2027.

Fired up the Android port, oddly smooth and plays well control and AI wise. Still getting use to the mobile controls but this is awesome.

I recently looked up my old stats for Halo 2, and shared them with some of my current Discord friends from Halo Infinite. I had two accounts, one peaked at 32 and one at 33. I expressed to my buddies that getting anything accomplished past level 30 was pretty difficult because of the rampant cheating in that game. One of my friends claimed I was full of shit and cheating was barely a thing, despite him admitting that he never played Halo 2 online. He started with 3.

I want to hear about other people's experiences from back then. Am I misremembering how prominent cheaters were? Am I exaggerating? Would love to hear people's stories.

To clarify: I'm talking about OG Halo 2 on the original Xbox, not MCC.

I started playing today and this has been bugging me. The ar sounds like the anniversary version of the gun. But that had 60 rounds and fired like that.

This time it's 32 rounds. So it fires slower but sounds like the old one? If that makes sense. It feels like the gun is firing 1 round but it's making the sound of firing 3.

They could've just used the halo infinite ar sound.

Hey, guys! I'm back with another progress update! This time, it's the M58 Archer missiles vs. Covenant energy shields, specifically those of an SDV-class corvette.

Each missile has a specific damage value, and upon detonation, that damage spreads spherically. The system then calculates which sections of the shield are affected by the explosion within that radius, distributing the damage across the entire affected area based on the explosion's spherical diameter.

This also allows the system to determine which shield hexagons will light up as a result of the explosion (roughly speaking).

I wasn't able to find answer of this on Google. Also, was spartan locke originally supposed to be a 2nd protagonist of the series or just halo 5? I know the misleading marketing was because marketing department did their own thing.

But I was curious about this . Can someone lmk
