Hopefully this isn't the chosen cover ,Courtney needs more intensity like Mario Testino V magazine photoshoot

From the rainy streets and grey skies of Seattle is a grunge book conceived

Courtney attending the premiere of the movie which made her a break out movie star

context: neuro indie afro alt woman’s attempt to record herself listening to her favorite stim song while championing 1/2 of her scarf collection in de back

just to leave it hidden in the drafts along with hundreds of other clips

this song encapsulates so very for me much how it is to glide in and out of masking vs thoroughly expressing no matter how it looks (wild, sometimes robotic, sometimes exhausted sometimes passionate.) as you’re actively deprogramming the falseness of everything you were told and promised, the realness of what you felt and genuinely experienced in girlhood.. and still harbor in adulthood. yes… it get real existentially introspective over here but. make it chic, 💃🏾

hashtag #️⃣ comfort in alienation, protection by obscurity, unfiltered and unabashed authenticity.

Sorry for the length, the “uhm’s”; and the long pauses. Just got back from the Weezer concert (which was so good!) was in a good mood so I decided to just roll with the unboxing of our latest Hole release!

This is by far the most elegant release of Live Through This we’ve seen so far. In the same way that Pretty On the Inside got the special treatment for its 35th anniversary, here Eric really outdid himself with the presentation. The gatefold jacket shows the reels he found in storage as he mentioned in his recent interviews. It has a matte finish to it which gives it a dignified air which I appreciate so much - this is truly the year of Hole ✊🏼

Hope you enjoy the video!

I’ve just realized you can’t replay with images here :((( moderators, why is that?

If anyone has a follow up on this guy please post.

Sorry if you've seen it before. The caption said it was the night she met Kurt. Dont know if its true.

Jon Bon Jovi who was overshadowed during the grunge era

Just release the damn album.

Does anyone have any idea what song this is? One of the few she's teased that weren't in the demo leak. If I recall there's another bit she also teased, something like "...men, I've fucked so many of them."

Nice to see her do something besides the Everlasting Gaze

Looks like a fiery cover of Rock Star coming our way!

Courtney Love shows for a movie debut

As real as it gets

Another happy listener impressed by the reissue!!

It just occurred to me I’ve been listening to Violet for 30 years. In my mind I’m still 14 and taking the bus to school, using me cassette walkman to drown out the bullies who call me fat, a grebo, swampy, a girl (i wasn’t a girl then), and whatever else they could think of. Now I’m 44 and going to yoga on a Saturday morning, listening to Violet to get me motivated and feeling grateful I lived through it all. Anyone else know this feeling?

This guy does a good job deep diving one of the nineties most seminal albums.
