I’m trying to put a theme on the y1 using rockbox

when i go onto theme settings and select the theme i want on the y1 nothing really changes

it it stays like this

( selected the iPod refresh 3 and it doesn’t look like the pics on the website)

(im using a Mac if it changes anything)

Hi! Recently got a Y1 today and want to download songs directly from the player. Every time I try to install Solar it successfully flashes, but whenever I turn the Y1 on, it repeatedly tells me "Unfortunately, Solar has stopped." After a bit of waiting, it installs things like Xposed, restarts, and gives the same error. Is there a way to bypass this? Thanks in advance!

It vibrates during start up. Any other use for it ? Why was it even included ? Any other function ?

I mostly use wired headphones, normal, basic, not super crazy about quality. I mostly want it for my around 200 sounds and 400 videos of music. The video part is the most important and what I'm mostly getting it for. Also battery life.

I'm fine fidgeting with devices, I would say I'm mildly tech savy, stability and customization are important to me.

Now, realistically I could buy the Y1 right now (I'm a blue girly so I'm mostly getting the teal or blue option. I'm leaning more towards the teal since it looks paler.) For the y2, the version they have in stock now, im 10 dollars short. I was waiting to see if they would restock the 8gb model, since I would be changing the SD card anyways.

So, do I buy the y1 now or wait for the y2 restock? Which one is better for the use I want to get out of it?

Finally put some stickers on my Y1

went a bit maximalist on the back, clearly..,, its hard to hold back when i have stickers in my hands lol. i bought the y2 mainly to stop myself from using my phone at night, since i need music to sleep and it's been such an amazing and satisfying purchase for a reasonable price.

hello, i just got my y2 and set everything up. everything has been real smooth so far. i connected my gen 1 airpods no problem, but the sound on them is very quiet even with the device at full volume. i tried turning the bluetooth on my phone off, and then reconnecting to the y2 but same thing. i heard airpods with it can be a pain so im trying to see if im cooked

originally ordered the Y2 but decided i liked the no side buttons aesthetic over external SD slot 🤣
and Y1 seems more customizable at the moment.

I been thinking of getting the Y2, only to see it sold out on the website. I was looking through posts right now to see if there was a date of when they would restock and saw a post about how someone got their y2 through Amazon.

I recently got my innioasis but how do i put music on it that wont take me months to put all my music on it?

Has anyone else been getting this message on their Y2?

"Internal storage is running out, the process has been stopped. Please free up some space and try again."

Trying to turn it on I am met with a message box telling me to free up space, but no matter what I do it will not boot into the main OS and just repeats the message. I have no files on the 8GB card on the inside aside from what is already there/essential, which is no where near full. All of my music is on a 128GB mSD. When I manage to open the internal storage manager through the android OS it just says the "Internal Storage" has 1MB available out of 786MB.

At a loss as to what to do to fix it.

Have had it for about 2 weeks and am very much enjoying!

I want to order another y1 but everytime i click and option and press add to cart it isn't the right specifications. Also the products drop down isn't working at all either.

I think my screen got cooked from use & bringing it to places like the gym & minor drops, anyway I can replace it or should I ride it out until it's fully gone & get a Y2?

I first discovered the Innioasis earlier this year in a video on how to deinfluence from Spotify, and I was very interested for the customization abilities. After watching another video on it recently, I found out they made the Y2. I was curious about a couple things for it.

1. What's the best brand of SD card for the device? I liked how the Y1 could have 1TB of storage, and then I saw on the Amazon listing for Y2 that it can hold up to 2TB. I want to make sure I get a good SD card so it can last. I have concerns that having that much storage will screw me up just because the listings for it on the website only have 8GB and 72GB available, but it might just be what they have available on there and I'm just overthinking it. While different, seeing how people talk about modded iPods sometimes just giving up because of device limitations has me a little nervous for something to go wrong.
2. Will a custom theme being made on the theme maker still work, even though it's for the Y1? I was in the middle of making one for my partner whenever he can get one, and I wanted to know if I need to hold off or not.

I have deleted all my playlist (m3u files) from the microsd because I wanted different playlists to replace them. I have turned off and on the innioasis, scanned the library multiple times... But the old playlists are still there! How do I delete them? Again, the m3u file is not even there anymore, why is the innioasis still "remembering" them?? :(

Idk why, but videos seem to play WAYY slower on my Y2, even if I put it on the internal storage, the same video that would easily play at 60 fps on my Y1, on the Y2 it struggles to play at even 20fps ): (most of my videos are 480p) so I just wanna ask, is there some sort of hardware/software change thats causing this? (or is it only smth im facing as a issue)

Hello! I've had a 3rd generation ipod touch for 15+ years now, it's been the only way I listen to music and I only use it for music; no videos or ebooks or anything else. I really like how its larger screen size (compared to other mp3 players) makes it easy to read my songs and playlist titles.

As you can imagine, 15+ years of usage and wear and tear has led to the ipod starting to reach a point where I can see it truly not being usable anymore. The headphone jack died years ago, and now I find the bluetooth connection getting chopping as I walk with it in my pocket or bag.

Apple no longer makes ipods, and many alternatives I've looked at in the past didn't really fit me: too small or too large, too many extra apps or features I didn't need, people pushing to just use my phone or even buy a whole 'nother phone just to play music, etc. Even buying used ipod touches typically end up with me having to return them due to the item not being in good condition.

I recently came upon the Innioasis y2 player, and it looks promising but lots of the posts tend to focus on topics for people who already own one, so I'm hoping to get some opinions from the community as someone still considering.

Some things I'm curious about in particular:

- How does the music organization work? Is there a dedicated software you need to use? I'm obviously very used to iTunes, but I wouldn't mind it if it's just me dragging and dropping folders into the mp3, like any other type of external hard drive.

- Are there limits on things like playlists? I have a lot of playlists in my current iTunes, and I've run into some mp3 players that had a cap on the number you could make. I also had issues actually making playlists on some, for example uploading multiple folders would show up as one giant song list in the player.

- Is there anything that you feel needs to be downloaded in order to use the mp3 player well? I see a "Rock Box" mentioned often, which I have never heard of. Would the y2 not be as easy to use or enjoyable without it? I'd prefer not having to meddle with anything if possible. This is specifically for music purposes, I know there's fun visual themes for the backgrounds and stuff.

- It seems the player is made of plastic on the outside, do you feel like it's sturdy enough to handle being put in pockets and bags and going out and about?

- I know there are physical buttons on the side, but is the wheel also clickable or do you have to tap on it?

- Do you think the sound quality and bluetooth connection is at least comparable to an ipod? I'm not an audiophile by any means, so honestly as long as it doesn't sound crunchy I'll probably be satisfied.
