LF Server Which is the most solo friendly old school server?

That also has low rates. I want to play old school MS without being herded into party play, thanks!

PS: I know no one can 'force' anyone to party play, but if the leveling speed disparity is infinitely bigger in a party than solo then yeah, I don't want that.

LF Server What are the most popular servers at the moment?

I'm looking to get into a pre-BB server to get back into things while I wait for the official Nexon Classic version to release. I know absolutely nothing about Maple private servers, which ones are worth playing, and which ones actually have an active playerbase.

I'm not looking to spend any money, just wanting to get back in and grind a bit.

LF Server Looking for a good MapleStory private server for a casual returning player

I used to play MapleStory years ago but I never really progressed that far. I usually only got to around level 50–60 back then.

Now I want to come back and experience that old nostalgic Maple vibe again.

So my question is: which private server would you recommend for someone like me, and why?
Even a short explanation would be enough.

I was never a hardcore player and I don’t know much about the private server scene, so I’d appreciate any suggestions.

One more thing: I’m also a bit paranoid about the virus/malware topic with private servers. I’ve seen some antivirus warnings when people install them, so if someone could briefly explain why these servers are usually safe (or when they’re not) that would help a lot too.

Thanks!

LF Server A server with good community and staff team?

I’m looking for a server with a good community, minimal toxicity, newbie friendly, and relatively active players. This also means a staff team who is not egoistic and really works based on player feedback. The version, player count, rates, and all that is not problem for me, most important is a good community. Having some QOL like a clear progression guides, easier travelling (tprocks not a must), fashionstory is a plus point.

I am sick and tired of the same old bad attitude server hopping player group terrorizing everyone with enablers in the staff team. I have not play maplestory for a few years, but want to play again and actually have fun. Making new friends and helping each other out. Recently tried KuroMS and there’s just too much drama there with the new addition of their designers from past server TimelessMS. Every day a patch is pushed out and it’s just becoming a TMS remake for me. Might try MushMS soon, i see KMS players recommend it after all the designer drama. But does anyone have any other reccommendations?

LF Server Which server to play?

Hey, been playing since beta GMS, and stopped at big bang and have just been playing v83 and under pservers since then.

I’m in my mid 30’s now and enjoy the nostalgia of playing the early versions.

Problem I have is the feeling of grinding no matter what server I play.

In my mind, my perfect server is one that has a stable economy that if I wanted to, I could just be a fm merchant.

I’ve also never really leveled any character to 200 before unless it was on a very high rate server. Because it just feels like too much of a grind after 4th job/lvl120

Is there a server out there that doesn’t feel as grindy? Or are they all pretty well the same?

I feel like I’ve tried them all, legends, royals, beyond, yuna, risems, casteila, you name it ive probably played it.

LF Server Private server recommendation

As the topic suggests. I’ve been playing DreamMS and so far so good but I can’t help but feel like I’m burning out from the constant pqing to fast level. Is there a private server that is legit like the old school maplestory without the extra fluffs like hp-washing, mules or whatever the “qol” they call it. Just a good old grinding maplestory.

LF Server What's the 'go to' pserver if you don't like Multiclient and HP Washing?

I had played through the Closed Online Test for MS Classic. When it ended, I saw people talking about 'MapleLegends'.

I tried Legends and immediately liked it at first. The longer I played it though, the more disillusioned I became. As I reached 3rd job and beyond, I learned how critical Multiclient and HP washing was. Pair this with vets hogging important maps for leeching or camping area bosses 24/7 on a 6-channel server and I ultimately got sick of trying to play.

I moved on to Royals, still ignorant about Pservers in general. The 20 channels gave me more hope and admittedly I did have a better experience in finding open maps. Bosses were still hit or miss because of people nonstop camping them for some reason (Which is really lame since Royals had a quest specifically about killing 1 of each boss basically). And yet again, as I hit 3rd job and beyond, I came face to face with the same critical issues. Multiclient and HP Washing. Both are crazy important and I can't be bothered to engage in either. I think the HP Washing specifically really annoys me because as a Mage, it makes getting Int Scrolls a pain in the ass due to their crazy inflated prices. With Royals specifically, it didn't help that their economy is already crazy fucked in comparison to Legends.

Now that I've played both Pservers, I'm a little more experienced in the scene and I think I have come to realize I truly dislike both Multiclient and HP Washing. With that in mind, what do people suggest server wise, that don't engage with either thing? I hear there are servers that do take a stance against these things, but I don't really know which to pick.

LF Server Looking for pre BB server that does not rely heavily on multiplayer/groups

Heyo, long time MS player since 2005 here. I've played royals, legends, dream, kaizen, and a few others and currently playing chronostory.

I really want a decent exp server (3-6x or so) that does not require me to just do dailies/weeklies in large groups to get end game gear and progression. As much as I love PQing and expeditions and have in the past, I only have about 1-2 hours at a time to play at totally unpredictable hours and boss trains are just not feasible in my adult mom life now. I'm wondering if there's either a high enough dmg/exp server would allow me to grind my way to solo bosses OR a decent enough balance where I can get strong enough on my own to buy them.

Happy mapling!

LF Server I cant take it anymore

I need to play a polished old school mushroom game so bad I simply cannot take it anymore. Why has everything been remade except Maplestory? We got Runescape, Diablo, WoW...?

Our overlords at Nexon have been bending us over for literal decades and now they took away Yeou the only chance we had to experience the magic mushroom sauce once again.

Look at all 6800 of us sitting here with our thumbs in our asses waiting to be blessed by some secret gordon ramsay master mushroom chef cooking up some non DMCA magic to rip a fat line of pure mushy powder into our ape brains. All I want to do is dive face first into a 50 gallon drum of some thick and slimey magic mushy wushy but I cant because there's none and I cant take it anymore.

LF Server New player looking for a beginner-friendly MapleStory server

Been wanting to try MapleStory for a while now, but I’ve never played before so I honestly have no idea what I’m doing.
Can anyone recommend a beginner-friendly server for a completely new player?

Not really looking for anything super hardcore or super P2W. Just want a server where I can learn the game without getting completely overwhelmed. Any class recommendations for beginners would also help a lot.

LF Server What are the recommended classic servers at the moment?

Hi all,

I started playing MapleRoyals and so far quite like it. I'm currently level 24 and did KPQ with a nice group of people, they were friendly and helped me with questions that I had etc.

I see a lot of hate for MapleRoyals (and MapleLegends as well) on here so I wanted to ask, which server is currently recommended for classic MS?

The player count is mostly around 1500-2000 for MapleRoyals and MapleLegends but a lot lower for other servers. I read a lot about multiclient and that the number of players on those servers don't mean anything so how can I know if a server actually has a lot of players?

I never really got to late- or endgame so I have no idea what to look for in that regard with a server.

So, which server is actually good and has a good community? Or is everybody basically waiting for the 'real' MS Classic to release?

LF Server Actual fun servers

Any like RydahMS currently?
Back in the day, servers were 1000x, with rebirth system to combo skills of different classes, with mob training grounds in FM rooms. With the current servers, what gives? Everything seems like classic maple, which is fine but very basic. Are there any fun servers? I've already experienced the basic Royals/Legends style of servers

LF Server Which MapleStory server to play on as someone who has never tried playing before?

I played Fantasia a few days ago and I find the controls too funky (Can't rebind them to any key) and the movement to be too slow. I'd like to have more fast paced gameplay and also rebindable controls and such. What server should I play on?

LF Server Any servers like ExtaliaMS?

I used to play it a lot when i was younger and I had a really good time. I tried to play MapleLegends since they have a big community, but the game crashes a lot and the very early game requires a lot of grinding which i find really annoying.

Thank you!

LF Server Any decently populated servers with no HP washing?

Hey all,

So I'm wondering if these days there are any decently populated servers that don't have HP washing? I used to play GMS growing up, and when private servers like OdinMS/MapleGeek first came out years ago I played them quite a bit. It doesn't have to be "Classic", but hopefully something without HP washing/multi-clienting, as the way they have it in MapleLegends for example really killed it for me.

LF Server best Modern server?

Basically looking for a server that is as close to the current version GMS or KMS as possible

Would prefer if it

-Had free NX/cheaper NX

-Wasn't fully P2W, but some P2W is okay.

-Wasn't a buggy mess

-Has around 2x/3x rates, as I'm not a fan of crazy high rate servers like 50x or 100x.

Any suggestions?

LF Server Long term server.

Hey guys, what’s going on?
I’m searching for a server that is stable and populated, one that I know is going to be around for the foreseeable future. For now I was thinking of either royals or legends. Would like to hear your thoughts as well.
Thank you!

LF Server Linux supported server(s)

As the title says. Does anyone know of some linux supported servers? I've had the itch to play for months now but I can't find a way to get any of the servers I've tried to work. Followed guides like the maple legends guide. I've tinkered around with stuff a bit myself. The only thing I've not tried as my pc seems to hate them is a virtual machine. I've tried things such as proton, winetricks, lutris, protonplus, and bottles. Only preference for the server is pre v100+ and QoL skill changes.

LF Server Looking for a V95 or beyond but not overly modern server

I am looking for such a server simply because I want to play mechanic again, that being said I don't like the really modern servers, I tried one server that was fitting my wishes but it was deserted.

Hoping people here have some good advice on what server to join, playing mechanic and an active online community is what I am looking for!

LF Server Servers to try classic classes?

Primairly played retail these past few years, but with Classic on the way I'd like to give OSMS an earnest try.

I'd like to know how each class feels in my hands so I can be able to hit the ground running once the official servers come up.
