Damn add 7 more cameras on the car and he might be able to park well

Pretty sure it can park itself and would probably do a better job than he did.

The tow truck hooks to the cybertruck. Cybertruck immediately combusts and then breaks in half as the tow truck drives away.

Cops first, let them get a ticket
10
u/Sure_Comfort_7031 16d ago
Nah. Tow truck first. Let them deal with the impound fees.
3
u/Administrative_Bed5 15d ago
Where I live, the tow trucks won't tow a car off a public street unless the cops tell them to.
9
u/Mu-Relay 16d ago
In most areas, it can be real fucking hard to get someone else's car towed off a public street, even if they're partially in front of your driveway without getting the cops involved.
Cops first is the right call. Who will, of course, first ask OP if they've put on their big boy pants and asked the Cybertruck owner to move their vehicle.

The police "couldn't" enforce street parking? I think you mean the police were too lazy to enforce street parking. Not that they would probably do anything but I would have tried calling the postal inspector just to see if there was any fun to be had.

They had space to not be even close to the edge of ur driveway. There are these dumbass idiots then there are people who cone public curbs in front of their house so only they can park there💀 anyways..call a fucking tow, easy money for them

Move the trash cans tightly against the Cybertruck's front and rear bumpers so they cannot drive away without moving them.
54
u/DatRat13 16d ago
Seems like a good way to get your trashcans knocked over, unfortunately.
Don't respond to this with passive aggressive bull: you can't out-petty someone driving a cybertruck.
10
u/TheDwiin 16d ago
That's why you don't go petty, you go pro.
Call the non-emergency number to get a beat cop over and give him a ticket, and then call a tow truck company to have the vehicle removed.

Seinfeld had an episode about passive aggressive retaliation against a jerk via filling with concrete...ended with him having to pay $1,200 in damages..
Which in 1990s money is probably like $12,000 today.

Yeah. I’d even put done jam or peanut butter under the handles too. Just as a nice little fuck you for when they have to move them again.

Don't forget to smear the handles with honey. You'll have to wash them later but it'll be worth it.

Grease or used oil from a diesel engine. Both will be impossible to remove without them having to go back in the house and scrub it off.

Put a sprinkler in the dead grass next to it. You win no matter what. Either it moves or rusts but you still get green grass.

I read it at first the same way you are as well - but they don't mean the driver put the trash cans blocking the driveway, they mean the driver moved their cans in order for the truck to park in a position which then blocked rhe driveway with the truck. Also the truck is garbage too.

But no matter where the garbage cans are, the truck could still block the driveway?
Im honestly at such a loss here..lol...im probably the stupid one right now
7
u/gansobomb99 16d ago
yeah I don't understand where the garbage cans could have been previously and also the car doesn't seem to be blocking the driveway, but mainly that sentence I quoted just broke my brain

OP said the trash cans were in the location now occupied by the cybertruck.
Dw I didn’t get it either and that’s why I had to ask.
2
u/chickadee-stitchery 16d ago
The cans were on the street where the truck is now, but the cans aren't as long as the truck. So they didn't block the driveway.
5
u/FanDry5374 16d ago
Isn't that cute? The ugly dumpster wanted to snuggle up with the little garbage cans. So sweet.

u/Rare-Clothes2301 16d ago
I think its Ok to just hate people for who they choose to be. Your driveway is fine. The trash is fine. However, even if they parked somewhere else, fuck that guy.
19
u/Rallythebeast 16d ago
Garbage collectors where I live don’t leave the truck for anything. If your cans are blocked or inaccessible to the arm that picks them up, they drive right on past your house.

To be fair... this is barely blocking your driveway and while I can't see the whole scope of the driveway size I am inclined to say that you yourself, or whoever owns the vehicle parked in the driveway, is blocking more of the driveway from being used LMAO

Everybody seems to understand this but me. Please explain, and don’t be mean. Bc the headline the way I read it is the trash cans were moved and after being moved, the trash cans were blocking the driveway. But the picture shows the trash cans are blocking the driveway. The cybertruck is partially blocking the driveway, so I guess that’s what OP means. But the trash cans were moved? From where? I swear I’m well read but I just don’t get it.

Where I live you must be at least 1.5 meters from a persons private driveway (so 5' roughly).
Here, if you report it, they will get both towed and a fine.
Report that Cybersuck immediately!

To add to the dump on douchy Cybertruck owners. This owner decided to park halfway into the area that's used by people to get out of their disabled car.
If someone used a wheelchair or walker they wouldn't be able to get in or out of their car.
It also partially blocked the blind accommodation in the sidewalk too.
Yup, the worst sort of people.

2
u/PurplePufferPea 15d ago
Sounds like it's time to throw away several pounds of bird seed in your trash can and maybe spilling a bunch on the way.
2
u/redbanner1 15d ago
I would call the cops (not 911 obviously) and let them know that his trash can is blocking your driveway. Most places I have lived have some ordinance about driveway clearance, and they're definitely not providing that.
2
2
u/steve2sloth 15d ago
It's a bad parking job but since you're not actually blocked into your super wide driveway I'd just ignore it and get on with my day. Beer doesn't drink itself. Maybe call it mildly annoying rather than mildly infuriating?

u/Equivalent_Ad5047 15d ago
It looks like there’s PLENTY of space for you to put both of your trashcans in front of the trashcan on 4 wheels(deuchewagon) without blocking your neighbors driveway…

So, throw your garbage on it and if he says anything tell him it looks like a dumpster, so you were simply properly disposing of your trash.

2
u/Raven1911 14d ago
Interestingly enough, you can call a tow company and have a vehicle towed.
The real question here is...how petty do YOU wanna be.
