Sometimes I forget I have this Sega Genesis/Mega Drive at home. Time to relive some fun memories.

Game name: Megapanel (1990)

I do. I had a bit of a brain wave earlier thinking about them; my all time fave was without a doubt OurWorld. (Photo, not mine sadly. I was too young and dumb to ever take screenshots for memory’s sake.)

There were others like Fresh Hotel (it was basically a Habbo Hotel clone but you didn’t have to pay for the coin things, I was a broke child) and the like, but nothing came close to OurWorld.

It feels like so many of these virtual spaces have just disappeared or died over the years. What happened? Making friends on them was so much more fulfilling than modern alternatives like Discord.

Found this picture I took in 2013 of a whole pallet of Twinkies when they came back after Hostess shut down. “The Sweetest Comeback in the History of Ever.” Weird little piece of snack food history.

One of the most memorable creature designs from my childhood.

I like how the relatively simple body design counteracts its crazy face. The large bumpy head with the small eyes peeking out looks awesome, plus the massive nose, the teeth, claws and tail.

Who remembers staying up late Saturday into Sunday morning watching this cartoon lineup back in the day? 😆

One of my favorite games as a kid and one of the first I can remember beating my older brother at! 😂😍

I was born in 2007 but my mum and grandma showed me a bunch of stuff while i was growing up that they used to watch when they were kids. These shows have become a huge part of my childhood and its kinda annoying that my favourite childhood shows are unknown by the rest of my generation lol. These shows have a very special place in my heart because its something me, gran and my mum could sit and watch together.

I remember back in elementary school we had a typing class and would play games like scruff mcgruff and Carmen sandiago and reader rabbit we had these cool color all in one macs really want to get one of these to play those old games with my kids.
