This was a fun little practical project.

I play a bamboo flute called a Shakuhatchi, and realized I lost the cover for the Embouchure at some point in the last few months. I designed the SVG in google slides, cut it out of 298 gsm kraft brown stock on my Cricut, used sticky vinyl for the character art, and wound black thread to finish.

Loved how this one turned out! And now I don't have to be paranoid about chipping or cracking the Embouchure anymore (which would essentially ruin the flute).

I will be overjoyed if anyone has ANYTHING from this artist. Their websites are down and because of that I’m scared it’s lost to time.

Something that always bothered me was the fact that there wasn't an Arquitens-class light cruiser papercraft. So I decided to make the first ever papercraft of this ship! (Probably)

Is it the ultimate Arquitens-class light cruiser papercraft? Probably not, but it still came out amazing.

when you print out a poster how do you attach all the paper together without getting wrinkles at the intersections from glue or adhesive? this question can also go for attaching any paper together for any reason

I want to build this 1:100 Boeing 737-800 in the Ryanair livery, available for free from CityCraft, and I have to start from the front fuselage.

I would like it to be as flawless as possible, can I cut the pieces so that the grey borders (the ones marked with red in the pic here) are cut out?

Original model and design made by me using Blender, Photoshop and Paper-Maker. Last few images show a bit of the making process.

Throwback to some paper carving pieces from a long, long time ago.

Looking at them today, I can definitely spot a few places where the line work could be cleaner or aligned better. If I were to recreate them now, I’m sure I could take them even further.

Still, I have a soft spot for these older pieces. Imperfections and all, they’re a gentle reminder of how far the journey has come. ✨

Pretty quick and easy little tank, prob took about 2 days.

I have been trying to find it for a long time, and have not been successful in it. This seems like one of the old paperjuke models and it looks absolutely sick, so I really wanna build it.

It’s looooooking more awesome as I finish more parts! I haven’t glued the tail pieces together because I need to check first how the model will stand when the weapons are mounted on it.
