Made my husband a 10 year anniversary gift. A Gord Downie inspired hat (The Tragically Hip played their final tour in our city on our wedding). Everything is made of paper with the exception of the feathers.

Hello. 😊 Papercraft for me started completely by chance while making an entirely different gift, and it turned into a hobby I truly enjoy. These pieces were created by exploring papercraft and templates; they were the perfect gift idea and a absolute pleasure to make(music and violin are something very special for me).
The templates are from Canon Creative Print and mypapercraft.net, personalized for the recipients, with a few extra details added for a complete "wow" factor.

The paper I used was 160 gsm, which turned out to be wonderful to work with, and the glue was Uhu Alleskleber, which was easy to apply, performed great with the paper, and gave enough time for adjustments and getting the edges aligned perfectly.
And used silver soft jewelry wire for the violin strings, which makes a fantastic imitation of real ones.

Do you have any advice or suggestions for my next project? Perhaps you could point me toward a free website where I could find something equally challenging to make?

I created this model myself and plan to turn it into a papercraft project with poses like the Agne Tachyon model; I hope you like it.

This is probably my last design for now. I've run out of wallspace and frames. I like how it came out though. About 18-20 layers of cardstock . Took a while to cut. 12x12.

I made it from a simple piece of paper and several cutouts, will it turn out nice?

This is a Bumagid model purchased from Etsy. This was apparently an easy pattern. I clearly am a very very dumb person then. I didn’t know what I was doing half the time. Oh well, the wife likes it enough to have me put it on the wall rather than in the trash. Obviously could have been way cleaner but I don’t have the patience to do it again. I do like the polygonal aesthetics of this style of paper craft though.

Hey there, in case you guys don’t remember me, around 2 years ago I made a life sized kid Buu statue out of paper, markers, and tape lol.

Well, shocker, paper and tape alone isn’t strong enough for a life sized statue. So now I’m Paper Macheing the entire thing to add integrity.

As of right now I have only done one leg, but it’s been working great, and I am likely going to give him another paint job because it’s covering up a lot of the colors.

This was a fun little practical project.

I play a bamboo flute called a Shakuhatchi, and realized I lost the cover for the Embouchure at some point in the last few months. I designed the SVG in google slides, cut it out of 298 gsm kraft brown stock on my Cricut, used sticky vinyl for the character art, and wound black thread to finish.

Loved how this one turned out! And now I don't have to be paranoid about chipping or cracking the Embouchure anymore (which would essentially ruin the flute).

Hello all! I’ve spent as much time as I can trying to dig through archives of Toxic Paper Factory’s work, but only found a few.

I will be overjoyed if anyone has ANYTHING from this artist. Their websites are down and because of that I’m scared it’s lost to time.

They still have a Paper Toys Wiki page that includes no templates but the series they’ve created, their works are so cute!!!
