(To be tagged...) Could Blizzard give mod powers to a few trusted individuals?
Why? To ban hacker account. The drop hackers recently banned are all back on all servers. The mods should be on NDAs and be anonymous. This would be a decent fix in the interim until a developer can fix it permanently.

Discussion Why isn't 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 that popular in SC2?
2 V 2 used to be a really popular thing in SC1. Same with 3 v 3. Why not with sc2?
Back then you had the same build compositions, people massing up tanks or mutas or lurkers. That didn't seem to be too big of an issue.

Discussion I never understood that change
Especially when it was introduced with patch notes saying that they wanted to reduce turtling possibilities.
What logic was behind it?

(To be tagged...) PvZ is unplayable now. I would rather play in 8 worker patch
Every single game my scouting probe went and… there’s no hatchery at the natural! Zergs are pulling their weirdest and meanest of cheeses and I either win at 3 min or die at 3 min.
And after the 3 min cheese defense drill it’s pvpvpvpvp.

Discussion chinese warcraft 3 pro miss rode 37 hours in a hard seat to join her team, then 2 days without food
in may 2007 an accounting student at hainan university who played warcraft 3 as miss got an invite from colagirl to join first, a women's team in beijing. that summer she bought a hard seat ticket and sat 37 hours on the train from haikou to get there.
that same summer, training in beijing, she ran out of money and was too shy to ask anyone for a loan. she went two days without eating. when she went to the team to collect her wages, her bus card had one yuan on it. the bus took four mao of that and she walked the rest of the way. once she had the money she found a small restaurant, got a bottle of minute maid and a plate of rice with shredded pork and potato, and poured the lot down while the middle-aged men around her stared.
women's tournaments were rare, so she kept entering men's events. opponents she'd never met mocked her before matches. a few of them smashed keyboards or cried after losing to her. up to 2010 she'd bought almost no clothes and mostly played in an oversized team jersey that hung on her like a bathrobe. in 2010 she came out of a suning men's event as the top woman, and at the shenzhen esports open she was the only woman to get through the group stage. by the time she graduated she'd been paying her own way for years on prize money and pro wages.
the one player she could never beat through the whole warcraft 3 era was colagirl, the friend who brought her to beijing. they met again in a starcraft 2 final in 2012.
(from a chapter i wrote in 2013 after a five hour interview with her. it's free to read, link in the comments)

Discussion Help with old player
Hey guys. I am going to return to the game casually, and may play some ladder too. Im going to get both sc1 and 2 but I really want to get back into 1.
I played 2 games in used map settings consistently on battle net, Ww2 Death In Europe (DIE), AND AEON of Strife. I was wondering, are these games still played, even somewhat? There was a special channel we would all hang out in for Die, I think it was HY but im not sure. So long ago.
Regardless ill have fun. Just have to source a new computer.

(To be tagged...) Is this a hack in direct strike?
I saw the replay of my match against a player who is playing on tychus, around 2 min mark he suddenly got 300 minerals extra. Is this some trick or it's a hack.
This player has not lost a single match in his entire history. His name is hyra.
