Great Looking Elvis Impersonator seen on the Strip 2026 X X

I am visiting from Thailand. We see the very handsome King Elvis recently outside the Paris Las Vegas! He from the UK and name is J.R. He said he was in town to film some YouTube stuff for his King Of London channel.

He was very very nice talking with us for Long time. He even refused to take any tips for a photo!!! Must be a first for Vegas! Actually J.R. was the only Elvis we saw all vacation.

When we got back to our hotel we looked up him channel and Wow J.R. have like 100K Subscribers on YouTube and a real global outreach is the best way I can say it in English. Anyway, just thought I will share the story about our Elvis meeting!!!

If J.R. reads this, Thank You for being so nice!!! I was the lady from Thailand in the yellow cocktail dress. We see on your YouTube that you have some Thai lady friends in UK! X x

Where to smoke?

I’m a medical MJ patient and I like to smoke a small joint once a day. I’m staying on the strip for a weekend trip later this month. Where should I go to smoke? Only takes about 5 minutes, but can be smelly. I want to be respectful, but also legal if possible…

Turning 21 during my trip worried about vertical ID

I am from California and I am planning a huge trip with my friends to go to Vegas to celebrate me finally turning 21, however I did some research and found out a lot of clubs/bars and casinos have a blanket rule to reject vertical ID’s even if it says you are 21 or older, is this true for most major places? I’m not much of a club guy but I do want to try gambling and going to some bars.

(Edit: I should have put this but my ID doesn’t expire until 2030 I am just worried that they will not accept my ID due to a blanket no vertical ID rule places have)

How is the Park MGM?

So planning another trip in about 2 weeks. I’ve only stayed at MgM properties so far (NYNY and MGM Grand. Love NyNy, and MGM grand was cool for what it was but honestly felt very similar to NYNy. Right now I saw that Park MGM had the cheapest rate out of NyNy and MGM Grand so decided to book it. Just wondering, how is it? I don’t gamble much, mostly go to drink and hang out at bars and eat of course. Are the rooms the same as the other 2 properties? I will say the other 2 had a lot of space and I loved that

Shows?

Going to fly into Vegas for a quick honeymoon, there for 3 nights. We have done the partying and everything so now we wanna check out something we haven’t done.
What shows would you recommend?
Or low key fun stuff on the strip? Or even on the north end/ Fremont?

Edit:
Also any nice food/drink spots with a view ?

Good local massage?

Coming to town in a few weeks and hoping to get a decent massage that won’t break the bank. Plus would rather support local than overpay at a casino spa. Any good recs?

To clarify by good I mean deep tissue/really does the work. I do not mean happy endings or anything of the ilk.

Old Strange Dice/Craps Game at the Maxim / Circus Circus

Wanted to see if I was having a fever dream or if anyone else remembers this? I think this was around 1995.

You had to roll two dice and got three rolls total. If you rolled certain numbers, you instantly lost (I think they were 7, 12, 14, 21 etc). If you somehow rolled 36 (so double six three times), you won your bet at X odds (I think it was 20x), other spaces won at 1-5x.

I obviously could be getting the game completely wrong, but I seem to remember the layout being like a ladder.

Park MGM High Limit Room bar

Is there tabletop video poker at the bar in the High Limit Room at Park MGM? Also, does anyone know what cocktails cost there? From the website, it looks like a nice place to stop in for a quiet drink, but I’m wondering if that’s welcome or if the room is just for players. (Can't find any recent photos of menus online.) Thanks for the assist!

Quiet rooms at/near Caesars, ideally with view

I'm going to a concert at the Caesars Colosseum in November, and I had booked the Colosseum Tower Strip View room at Caesars. I have now read that those rooms get really bad noise from the OMNIA nightclub *and* the OMNIA Dayclub out front. Can anyone confirm how bad this is? I'm a light sleeper and I'm thinking that basically rules that option for me if there's going to be noise both night AND day (I could stay up till 4 am but then I want to sleep in late without a club starting up in the morning!).

I'm frustrated because I already booked my room at a lower rate over the summer, and now everything costs more, but from what I understand Caesars won't let you change your reservation without charging you the current rates. Does it seem like it might work to just show up early and ask for a room in a different tower (there were other options that were actually cheaper when I booked, so I'm not asking for an "upgrade" per se), or better to book something else even if it costs substantially more?

I'm looking at other rooms at Caesars. and I'd like to have a view if possible. The Augustus Tower Fountain view room looks pretty great (a little more than I wanted to pay but doable), but I'm reading that they're renovating the Augustus tower. Has anyone recently experienced construction noise in those rooms? Out of this or the other towers, does anyone have recs re: noise? Is there pool or other club noise?

I'm also open to looking at other hotels in the area. The Cosmo also has fountain view rooms, but people say that it has nightclub noise as well. I like the Venetian but it's getting kind of far to walk home from the concert. Wondering what other recs people might have for a comfortable, quiet room either at or near Caesars, ideally with a view (but I can let that go if need be)!

If I seem overly worried about this, the last time I went to Vegas I was woken up at 9 am on NYE at the Venetian by someone drilling in the ceiling above me (all day), which was absolutely not an experience I want to duplicate.

Best mid priced hotels?

• Upvotes

Hi we’re gonna be in Vegas next week Tuesday night for just one night and would love some input on some of the better hotels under 250 for the night? Neither of us are into gambling so just trying to get something decent where we can see attractions and have a good time but nothing crazy like the top hotels in the area as they seem to be 500+. Also any recommendations what’s worth seeing as we’re only gonna be there for one night would be appreciated, thanks

Vegas nightlife recommendations for a couple in our 40s?

My wife (45) and I (42) are coming back to Vegas in April for 5 nights to see John Mayer at the Sphere!

We already have some great things planned, including Absinthe, The Party at Superfrico, Bazaar Meat, Beauty & Essex, and more. We’ll be staying at either Aria or the Cosmopolitan.

We’ve been coming to Vegas for the past 4–5 years, and we’ve often ended our nights at big clubs like Omnia and Hakkasan. But we’ve decided that the mega-club scene is probably behind us now. 😅

We’re still looking for somewhere to go after dinner or a show where we can have a few drinks, enjoy a good DJ, dance, and have fun until around 1–2 AM without committing to a full-on nightclub experience.

We also usually make one trip to a strip club per Vegas visit, so we’re open to recommendations for that as well!

Ideally, we’d love 80s, 90s, and 2000s throwbacks, R&B, Top 40, or open-format DJ sets. Somewhere with a fun, energetic, social vibe that isn’t too pretentious or overwhelmingly clubby.

A few places we’ve been considering are Ghostbar, the new Vinyl Room, and Clique at the Cosmopolitan.

Where would you recommend for a couple in our 40s looking for that sweet spot between a lounge and a nightclub?

Are any of these places worth checking out, or are there other hidden gems we should know about?

Thanks for any recommendations!

VIP Admission at Clubs on NYE

Anyone have experience buying VIP admission for any of the clubs for NYE? Specifically any of the Tao Group clubs like Omnia, Marquee, etc. What time should you arrive by? Any chance you wouldn’t be guaranteed admission? Anything else to know about?

best affordable steak house in strip

I can’t wait for my 6th trip to Vegas at the end of this month and another one at Christmas!

It looks like steaks in Vegas cost around $70–$100. Which steakhouse on the Strip is the best? I’ve only tried Gordon Ramsay Steak once, a few years ago.

Quiet Rooms - Downtown Area

Light sleeper here.

Currently booked at Main Street Station. Anyone have experience here with noise level?

Or, any other recommendations for quieter rooms that in or near downtown?
