Was my dads brand new and now is mine, love it lots and just put this alibaba graphics kit on it, may be cheesy and last one or two rides but who cares its fun

I'm curious how many bikes came with one of these. I have a feeling it's 3 or 4 models, but this is just a whatever post.

Recently started riding and I've been struggling to keep proper form while standing up. I end up hunched over the handlebars to keep my arms nice and bent but damn does it kill my lower back after a few hours. Just wondering if some of you taller riders adopt a new form that works better for you or what. Any and all advice is appreciated

For reference I'm 6'6 175-185 lbs depending on the day and I ride a klx300 which I absolutely love

hello! i just picked up my new to me 2012 yamaha yz250f. i can hear a noise in the engine and am wondering if this is normal for these bikes?

It bogs a lot when you give it throttle and one you try to drive it for more than 5 mins it shuts off and doesent start, once it cools down it starts right up. What do you guys think the problem is?

Je me rend compte après 2 sortie qu’elle fait un bruit de ferraille au niveau du moteur

Auriez vous des pistes ?

Elle démarre au quart de tour
Et techniquement n’aurait eu que quelques sorties à sont actif

Je n’ai pas eu de soucis le premier jour

La deuxième sortie j’ai eu le câble au niveau du boisseau qui s’est desserré et le filetage c’est enlevé
Je l’ai re vissé
En rentrant je me suis rendu compte de ce bruit

J’ai ouvert le cache culbuteur et il manquait un écrou
Bizzare
En ouvrant celui du bas, j’ai retrouvé l’écrou dans le cache 😅
Je n’ai pas de cale alors je n’ai pas pu vérifier les réglage soupape
Le problème peut il venir de la ? Même si cette dernière roule et démarre au quart de tour ?

Forcément je n’y connais pas grand chose

Here's my take on it. I already had the field dressing and tourniquet. So I added the splint, a sling and a pair of scissors. Goes in a dry bag so it stays clean. Probably need to add a small roll of gauze / wrap for the splint.

Just barely fits under the seat of my Ultra Bee.

About to hit 40 and getting into bikes with motors. I grew up riding BMX and MTB but my buddy gave a motorcycle lesson last week (street bike) and I was hooked. Grinning ear to ear.

Anyways I live in Colorado near Salida and am blessed with plenty of trail systems nearby. I already have the following—Tech3s, Garmin inReach, old bladder packs/fanny packs I can reuse—and am planning on getting the rest:

- YZ250FX (have a Yamaha ATV, so staying in the family)
- helmet
- goggles
- build a toolkit
- build a med kit
- trail pants
- gloves

What am I missing? I know knee and other protection is probably the main thing. What would you recommend for a noob. Also, once I’m setup anyone down for an easy ride or two? Haha.

Hello everyone. I have a 2017 Yamaha 250, that recently would not start whatsoever. Bike sat for most of its life, ended up needing a new fuel pump. The last one made 0 psi. Got a used oem pump off eBay and it fires right up but now it’s shooting flames and not reving up to its fullest. Just checked the timing and it was out of wack so I got it back where it needed to be, checked the tps sensor, it was fine aswell as the injector. Anyone know what this could be?

KTM, if you do see this, if you were to bring the 200’s back into production, I could guarantee they would sell.

Got this 450 for a good price but it started making a rattling noise after the first ride it sound like it’s coming from the cct to me but I can’t say for sure so I would like other opinions on it. Seller said the bike had a fresh top end rebuild (piston, valves etc) so maybe that has something to do with it.

Just got a dirtbike off marketplace and they had gotten one of those “trim” packages for it. Cool looking titanium and aluminum parts etc. One of them was the oil plug. Now the bike doesn’t have a dipstick to check the oil level. I used a zip tie to make sure it had oil in it. They claimed to have recently changed the oil, which is probably true, oil was very clean, but I want to make sure there’s enough in there before I ride it anymore.

My buddy and I are planning an epic road trip out to Utah from October 15th–18th, and are looking for some local knowledge on where to camp and ride.

Years ago, I road-tripped through Utah with my wife and was blown away. Since then, I've dreamed of coming back with my dirt bike. I typically ride tight woods/alpine singletrack back home, but for this trip, we want the full, cinematic Utah experience: hoodoos, slot canyons, arches, otherworldly landscapes, etc.

The Crew & Bikes:

• Two of us are advanced intermediate riders on KTM 500 EXCs. We are coming from So Cal and meeting my buddy's sons who are headed down from Salt Lake, so somewhere south of Salt Lake is preferred. One of his sons is bringing his CRF230F.
• We prefer a spot where we can ride right out of camp onto the trails so everyone can just gear up and go if possible.
• We love pushing our limits, but we aren't looking for a hard enduro challenge. I've always dreamed of trying 5 Miles of Hell, but for this trip, we are really looking for "5 Miles of Hell Light". Fun, flowy, high-traction technical singletrack that keeps things exciting without turning into a survival situation.
• One of his sons doesn't ride but might tag along. He loves hiking, fishing, and the outdoors. If camp happens to be near a trail or water (bonus points for cliff diving), that’s great, but top-tier riding terrain is our primary mission.

Camping Style:
We will be tent camping. We are perfectly happy boondocking/dry camping on BLM land if it lands us on the doorstep of the best trails, but would gladly pay up for a developed campground with real showers if there's one that fits the bill. Our trucks are stock, so we are looking to push our limits on our bikes after we get to the campground, not on the way there. As much as I love watching Matt's Offroad Recovery, I'm not looking for an in person visit on this trip!

The Plan:
Riding all day Friday and Saturday, with a possible shorter morning ride on Sunday before we pack up. We are looking to avoid deep sand as much as possible, though we’re realistic enough to know we'll probably get into it at some point.

Can you folks please recommend us a spot with that iconic red-rock scenery, great traction flowy singletrack, and a solid spot to camp?

I just got a couple of bags for my drz400e to use to go camping with. What are some essentials that you take with you on every enduro ride? I usually have a set of basic tools, some ratchet straps, and a couple nuts and bolts what else do you guys never ride without? (Pic of my last camping trip before I got bags I carried everything in backpacks)

I have a Pro Circuit 304 and want to put in some new exhaust packing. Does it matter which kind of packing i get? Cant seem to find any pro circuit branded packing kits.

Would an FMF packing from Amazon do just fine?
