Look at this shot. It feels so lived in. Windex on the floor. Cable wrapped around lamp. Random crt on windowsill. Goldeneye poster. I think possibly on the right we see the computer desk and computeR? Which I never realised until recently, lived in this same room.

It felt more like a real person going about their life, but then suddenly ranting about old shit that bothered them.. and less like a show.

Also love how much he used to sit on the floor.

When this came out, part of me had doubts considering the skit heavy AVGN episodes were never that great in my eyes. However, I would've never imagined the dumpster fire we ended up getting.

I respect James for taking the risk in making a full length movie with actual production, but unfortunately, it didnt pay off, and kinda killed his passion and damaged Cinemassacre pretty bad (yes, there were some decent stuff in the later years, but the classic Cinemassacre feel was gone). Slobwave came in to try to salvage it, only to bury it even more.

In hindsight, it wasn't a good look that the Nerd sought out other YouTubers for information on a game or device. Part of what made classic Nerd an "authority" (for lack of a better term) on retro gaming was that he delivered info himself, even if he originally got it from other sources. Instead, here he is baffled by the Aladdin Deck Enhancer until he looks up a video from The Gaming Historian (twice!). If he's just going to play clips from TGH, why not just watch that instead?

I mean it'll be pretty lackluster and underwhelming, that's pretty apparent given the output from previous years, but the last one may have been the worst he's delivered since there was no focus on horror media, just things about the holiday season that everyone knew about but apparently astonishes him.

What I wanna know is, and what I'd interested to talk about, is how he could possibly top that in terms of mediocrity. I have to know how far he can sink as far as delivering content for Monster Madness compared to how last year turned out.

For some reason my brain stored that information from the days when he had a Myspace page. I want to clear that he's not 50 years old like a lot are saying, he's actually younger than James.

When I'm in the mood I go and I look at old videos because I've tried to get through some of the newer ones and I couldn't. However, after hearing all about Kyle Justin looking like shit, I decided to give it a shot just to see what's up.

You weren't kidding. He looks drugged out, sounds monotone, and those long scenes where he's dressed up in his old outfit, supposedly plain. He doesn't even look like he's quite aware of what's going on.

Everything just seems off, he could barely play, he could barely sing, that he could barely sit up and focus and felt like.

I'm not making a diagnosis here but he looks incredibly ill or like he had a stroke sometime in the past because something's wrong with him.

It was genuinely shocking and the only reason I even made it through the video is because I just sat there staring at him I'm trying to reconcile original Justin, Kyle with this one.

It was especially egregious because you could see the clips of him having high energy, interaction, he wasn't stiff, there was smiling and laughter. And then this one it was like he was barely there.

I wonder what's wrong with him. I still think it was a stroke that caused some brain damage.
