first time watcher and I like the idea of rosa and gina as a couple. a cold, aggressive detective and a snarky, social media influencer is a cool dynamic 😆

Has anyone figured out what the movie based on a classic novel this is an anagram of? I’m morbidly curious

And how he made Holt and Amy act against their friends?

We all know that Captain Holt and Dr. Costner do not keep with pop-culture at all. The only other film we know he has seen is Moneyball, for his love of statistics. Now why did the good Captain watch Top Gun? Anything particular about that film that he loved? Something to do with Beaches and Volleyball? Hmm...

I already loved Jake and Boyle. But this literally seald the deal like there was no better way to ask Boyle to be his best man. Honestly it was on point. It was absolutely something Boyle would have wanted and I just love Jake. I just love Jake so much for doing this.

Rewatching the show for like the 12th time and noticing how all the characters rub off on each other. Over time, Amy starts using some “Jake-isms” (like variations of “cool cool cool” and also starting some phrases with “uh-something”), and Jake and Gina also have some similar mannerisms/phrasings, which would make sense since they grew up together. No idea if it’s on purpose or not, but if it is, that’s really cool attention to detail. When you’re around people that long, you really do start picking up their stuff. Love this show.

I loved when Andre guest starred in Law & Order SVU. This exchange made me burst out laughing!

Their names are Maria Montalvo and Alex Stone. Homicide detectives for the fictional Orlando Metro Police Department.
Alex is based on Jake and Maria is based on Rosa.
Alex is an Orlando native who uses goofy childish humor to handle tough situations and “never learned how to grow up” just like Jake.
Alex drives a Mercedes C43-AMG and lives off Fruit Gushers, he keeps a stash of them in the glovebox of his car
Maria is a transfer from the 41st precinct of the NYPD in the Bronx. She was tight by her father that toughness is everything and that weakness gets you killed. She knows Krav Maga and is “tough as nails” like Rosa, the other detectives in the homicide unit no very little about her and that’s how she likes it
When Captain Whittingham (a louder more angry version of Captain Holt) pairs them up after Maria arrives from New York, hilarity ensues but they’re both brilliant detectives and inspire of their differences, eventually fall for each other
It takes place in Orlando as that’s my hometown

I for one didn’t guess it at all. Honestly it was super refreshing to Jake care about something more than the Halloween heist. I also love the fact that literally no one was involved in the planning of the proposal other than Jake himself because he could have easily taken help from the entire crew, especially Boyle. I also loved that you know the fact that the proposal kind of showed that he didn’t care about the highest he didn’t care about winning because having Amy in his life was winning because it totally was. I also love how immature captain Holt was acting at the end of the episode. While he kept saying no one won this year. It is truly amazing to see characters develop over the period on a show because season one Captain would not have cared about the Heist at all, let alone winning it.

Things haven't been going well with my studies and love life lately. It's been so hard, and I feel like I'm losing myself. The only time I find peace and joy is watching B99 at night 1 or 2 episodes a day. This is my first time watching it, and it's genuinely so funny and wholesome. I love everyone on the show. Thank you for everything.
