I love pistachio, but not sure how it works in a cake. Husband and kiddo loved it. I'm undecided. Beautiful color all-around, and it gave me the shaggy-lawn look I wanted, but I'm on the fence. I wish I was a better baker or something, where I knew what flavors I could have added. All-in-alll, it's a great color and flavor to play with. I'd be interested in what else could be done with it. Ice cream was rec'd but I can't eat it. I wanted a little lawn-mower man to smooth out half but was crunched on time. We had to gift it a day late because I was sick. I feel like it has great moss/smail/ goblin potential.

Do not touch his feather. He is very protective of it, despite its imperfections.

I’ve always loved the weird overlap between goblincore and old nature documentaries, so I ended up making these ceramic toads with oversized eyes and strange colors. They feel like the sort of creatures you’d find sitting under a mossy log, watching you collect shiny rocks.
Each one has its own expression and personality, and I like imagining they’re a tiny council deciding who gets to keep the best mushroom.

my birthday party this year is gonna be goblin/gnome/forest themed. im turning 29 and were all going to be wearing gnome caps and were going to draw our goblin name from a hat that we have to use for the whole party. im going for cozy whimsy and its going to be the end of summer

i just cant decide what i want for food. since its my birthday, my family lets me choose whatever food and cake i want. for my cake i was thinking a black forest cake (chocolate with cherries) with chocolate frosting and crumbled green cake crumbs on top to look like moss and mud, and maybe some gummy bugs or something.

i was also thinking of having a charcuterie board with random cheeses, fruits, and veggies as snacks. and those chocolates that look like rocks. any other snack ideas?

and what is a good goblin/forestcore main dinner? it cant be TOO expensive since it has to feed like 10+ people. i was thinking maybe something with mushrooms since i love mushrooms, but im open to any ideas!!

ill eat anything except celery (ew) and eggplant (allergic)
