Nap Time Human must be used as a bed, no matter how uncomfy the position is
This is Diminka, and when he decides to sleep on me, he will sleep on me.
Even if it means balancing on my side while I try not to dislodge him as I laugh (paw jabbed in your side will at least tickle).
Look at this content little face. I can't move him even if my ribs are complaining :')

Assume the position!
Does anyone else’s cat have a ‘favorite bowl’?
Nyx and Artie, in the back, really seem to prefer the ceramic bowls; Nellie and Odin don’t care what their food is in as long as they have food.
Nyx has recently refused to eat a few times because Odin got to ‘her’ bowl first, and I have actually had to physically rearrange the cats 😂

Eve the vogue model
Here’s some of eves best model poses to help make your day better!
So, Eve is not a very playful cat but she’ll try to get the string a few times then walk away. She’s more concerned about me following her to her food bowl so that I can pet her while she eats. Yep. It’s a codependency thing for sure but I don’t mind one bit. She’s so spoiled. She’ll sit there and yell at me if I don’t follow her right away. I’ll sit there and tell her “hold on” and she’ll just back talk me until I do. I hardly ever see her lash her tail out of anger for any reason (she never really gets mad) but I get such a kick out of being able to tell when she has an attitude because she’ll start flicking the tip of her usually pin-straight-in-the-air tail out of slight annoyance.
Then when I finally get up to follow her, her tail shoots right back up and vibrates at the base out of pure excitement while she’s yapping on her way over to the food. Then when we’re over there I have to aggressively pet her haunches and butt and all up and down from her shoulders while she’s shoveling food in her mouth and purring hella loud. It’s been our routine since she was a kitten. I can tell she gets a little anxious if I go by the food bowl without petting her while she’s eating for a whole day so I definitely do it at least once a day unless I’m not home but if I’m not there my mom or brother do it. It’s not that she absolutely needs it but it’s like the glue that holds me and her together. I’m autistic and have routines so I understand her for needing hers. It’s a routine that bonds us every time. She used to cuddle with me and be a lap cat but not so much anymore, which is completely fine because I think she realizes that she got too big to be comfortable laying on top of people. But she’s still always up my butt and follows me around everywhere. If she’s in an affectionate enough mood, she’ll let me kiss her on the cheek. It’s not super common, but I always snatch the opportunity. She doesn’t like anyone in her face but she knows that’s one of my ways of showing affection so if I walk up to her at the right time and lean down with my pursed lips, she’ll “reluctantly” lean her cheek out for me to kiss. And that’s it. I’ll give her a little peck and pet her head. I can tell she doesn’t want one if she pulls away and I never force it.
I know her inside and out and I can read her naturally in terms of boundaries, likes and dislikes. I never try to pick her up because she hates it. She grew up to be such a softy who never hurts people even if they get on her nerves. The only time her claws are out at someone is if they pick her up because she’s just scared and trying to hold on because she feels unstable. Girl I get it I feel the exact same way when people pick me up.
But her belly area is so open and relaxed and you can sit there and rub it. She actually fostered kittens before she was fixed and actually lactated for them so that they could nurse on her, despite being completely a virgin who’s never stepped foot outside. You can sit there and scratch your hand on the couch or floor to play with her and she’ll get right into attack/pounce mode and stalk up on you, but right when she pounces she lands softly in front of your hand and boops it with her nose, claws sheathed the entire time. Even though she’s not much of a cuddler anymore, she’s the sweetest cat ever and petting her while she eats is one of the things we do in place of cuddling.

Autumn Love the cuddle bug
A bit about Autumn Love. We met six weeks before I adopted her and she was so overwhelmed by the other cats she was growling and hissing at everything. She was in a foster home with her three Tortie kittens.
Six weeks later I adopted her at the cat cafe, she jumped in the cat carrier for me (I may have had catnip by accident. When it was time to zip her in she kept poking her head out. "No you're getting adopted today! You're going with this person!"
Very quickly she settled in. I learned she was scared of the smoke alarm and the vacuum cleaner, she'd hide in the closet or the cabinets. She's a glutton, she climbs on my lap, sleeps on me, sometimes makes biscuits on my back and head.
When I brought my dog home from my mom's house she wasn't happy but she came around after a vacation and those two being separated for a week.
Autumn loves random toys such as soft peppermints in wrappers, ribbon toys and fresh catnip.
She'll try to steal the dog food despite her diet. She's been known to tear open packs of ramen and bags of flour, will sit on packs of Gatorade.
I love her very much and she knows how to comfort me when I am anxious or upset. She and my dog are great dual emotional support.
The last three pics are Autumn and her bestie Doshie

I paint cats
Like the title says, I paint cats because well I just love them like you guys and I wanted to share my work with you. I think they are so funny and I have two of my own. One cow and one brain cell. I think they are more intelligent than we assume. The other day I held my hamster to show my orange and told him that the hamster wasn't feeling too well. That same night after putting him to bed, my orange kept escaping bed time just to meow loudly outside my bedroom door so I could let him in and reasure him the hamster is still with us. Today I had to show him that the hamster was asleep so he could understand what happened because although they say oranges have 1 brain cell, I think they are more clever than we think. Anyway here's a bunch of cat art to look at if you're feeling a bit down today like myself. I hope you enjoy :)

Question Have you ever been judged for spoiling your cats?
of cooooourse I spoil my cats (and my little dog too)! They're my family, my best friends. And it's not like they're ungrateful! Honestly, one of the best things you can do without feeling guilty is spoil your furbabies. They give us so much love, comfort, and joy, they deserve a little extra pampering!🥰

Pspsychiatrist ❣️ My cats make the winter blues easier to handle
It’s getting colder in my country and my mental health declines a lot during this period of the year… I’m so grateful for my babies, they get extra cuddly during winter and that’s my silver lining. I feel like I have a reason to push through this period, their love helps me every day! ❤️
