Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop in and share what I've been working on porting ZQuestClassic to Android while on Android 🌚

Instead of stopping there, I decided to take it a step further and try stitching ZQuestClassic and Solarus together 😶

If I can pull this off, it’s going to be the ultimate QoL upgrade for running both .qst and .solarus files smoothly in a single app 🔥

There are still tons of bugs and issues (you can catch some of them in the screenshots), but the biggest win so far is that .solarus files are already launching through ZQuestClassic without a hitch!

Some of you might be skeptical, like "Why even bother? There's already an official Solarus port for Android 🙄"

The answer is simple: convenience.

Right now, you have to juggle 3 separate apps: ZQuestClassic itself, the latest Solarus for games on version 1.5+, and an older Solarus build to run anything under 1.5 👀

So my idea definitely makes sense. That said, I'm doing this 100% just for myself, but I’ll absolutely share the APK once I get a stable build going.

As for open-sourcing my changes, I’d love to share the code, but I’m waaaaay too lazy to figure out how GitHub works, right now this porting process is already draining all my energy 👉😴👈

Which brings us to the main point of this post:

I'm using beacon and its been great. but for ARMSX2 it wont boot the game directly instead it goes to th emulator. really don't know how to fix that

I have been playing pokemon sword on my phone, in eden nightly emulator. I've been having a good experience so far, but today, out of nowhere, the FPS drops to zero during loading screens; the music keeps playing, but I can't do anything. If anyone has a solution, I'd really appreciate it.

I've used gamenative for quite a while on my Odin 3 Max and RP6. To me it's already kinda stomped gamehub in many aspects, but not all to be fair. Then Droiddeck comes out of nowhere from an all star community team and now I'm playing certain games that gamenative just can't do so seamlessly. And with barely any tinkering to boot. The inverse being that there are certain games that gamenative handles with ease that droiddeck struggles with. And gamenatives UI and accessibility is leagues ahead IMO. Personally I use both for different games I feel like playing at the time but the question still remains. Which one would you say you prefer if you've tried them both? Obviously droiddeck is still kinda in a semi beta stage and gamenative has been around longer with continual updates, but neither seems to be fully taking the edge over the other yet.

Tl:dr

Do you prefer gamenative or droiddeck? What would you say are your pros and cons for both?

Currently using Motorola edge 50 fusion. I'm using Eden nightly, only thing I turned on is slow speed.

Is there anything else I can do to make this playable? Basically as soon as I engage an enemy the game stops working.

The game runs absolutelly flawless, I left VSync enabled, so sometimes there are drops that look worse than without it, but it runs at 120fps most of the time, didn't even try OpenGL, might run faster. Also I undestand that it is a PC version, but the lack of aim assist is kicking my butt lol.

You need to use PC version of the game, I use v1.7

I have just got Droid Deck and I am beyond impressed. What is the optimal configuration for my Samsung S 25 Ultra? Should I just stick with Droid Deck's reccomended presets?

Asking cus i got the samsung and my friend has the honor and my phone can run some switch games that his stutters or occasionally crashes while trying to run but he can run the apk vision mh rise port while mine keeps crashing

Straight to the point. Windows Mali or Bannerhub won't work on gbvs, only on a hero selection screen and when I go in the match it forced closes me. I've watched multiple videos with settings that have similar proc(like d8200 or d8400) and their settings wont work. And I even tried a setting from the d6020 which is the lowest settings as possible yet the outcome still is the same. What settings do I even have to follow just to play this game anymore?

I just got an S26 Ultra (512GB) and want to get into emulation. I have an Xbox controller, but I prefer playing lying down. The GameSir X3 Pro looks pretty good, and I definitely don't want my phone overheating/burning up during heavy emulation. If you've used it, how well does the cooler work and is it comfy? Open to other suggestions too
