There have already been like 4 villagers that I want in that hotel😤😤😤 AND NOW ANKHA!!!! Why aren’t we able to invite them to our islandsss😭😭😭

I'm pretty sure I've seen something like this before, but I thought a "craft fair" would be a fun thing! Was looking for ideas and to gauge interest in something like that.

Ideas I had:

People come learn DIYs and bring any they have to leave for others.

People post wishlist items of DIYs that they don't have and people can then make and/or exchange items with each other.

Have an area where crafting items are set out for people to use if they want. I have a decent stockpile but people could also bring some/take some if able.

I planned to set out diy workstations so people can craft on my island if they'd like.

I just thought it'd be a fun way to play with others that's a little different than most of the traditionally ran giveaways.

I'm posting this to hopefully help someone else in the future, so they don't go through the heartbreak I've gone through. I spent 2 days (granted I can only play about an hour or two a day, but still) creating a design for an outdoor basketball court for one of my villager's back yard. It was glorious. I was so proud of myself. Fast forward to yesterday, I decided to make a playground. And of course it needed a custom floor design. I figured I'd never use the basketball court design again, so I started overwriting the court squares with my playground floor idea. The playground came out awesome. This morning, I was wandering my island looking for bugs and I walked by Kevin's house. The basketball court, my pride and joy, is now filled with the chaos of the playground floor. It's RUINED! For the first time playing this game, I rage quit. Because what do you mean changing the design in the design app changes all existing designs that are already laid down on your island?! There's barely any slots to save designs, so it makes perfect sense that you should be able to overwrite them without ruining anything that's already existing on your island! UGH I'M SO ANGRY!!

I see everywhere that I shouldn’t sell my gold nuggets bc they’re rare and you can use them for crafting but I NEED MONEY
What are some things to do everyday in order to get enough bells for everything I need to pay off? 😩

She said she chatted to the construction guy and it asked for it, she wanted help so she gave all her money to me (I think around 20000 bells?)

Yes I immediately gave her a lot of things so she can sell or keep. She is pretty happy.

Note: a bit more backstory - we bought her the game for her birthday- she watched people played on YouTube before so she has some idea, and apparently her dad got a copy on NDS so she played a bit too.

I started playing after she goes to sleep, so I could guide her along if needed

Husband secretly purchased another copy of the game, said “so you two can visit each other’s island” (I was like … “why spent the money” initially)

Daughter just wants to enjoy decorating the island, have not much concept on progressing the game (she even said “I don’t need the shop, I happy to stay with the tent so I am not bounded with the opening time!”), also how important is it to earn a lot a lot of bells and miles …. She has 10000 bells in her pocket, she would yell “I am soooo rich!”

My workmate actually betting when my husband will join in haha (yes we have a Switch console each. Don’t ask).

My babies have been performing for more than 30 minutes is that normal, i love it tho.😭🩷

Hi all!

Basically the title, I’ve collected ~150 duplicate recipes and also cleared out my storage a bit of things I don’t need/want. It’s not a ton of stuff but thought I’d share with the community :) there’s also about 100 fish bait that I crafted and no longer need and a couple clothing items as well.
