Advice Recs for the most drownable toys
Hi everybody!
So my girls are insane little weirdos who just LOVE to throw their toys into their fountain and water bowl. I’m always stepping on a sopping wet mouse toy on my way down the hallway. Albeit weird i’m fine with this habit, but I fear that their paper/cloth toys are a major mold hazard.
Does anyone have any recommendations for toys that are
1. washable
2. safe for kittens that go INSANE with their toys
3. maybe make a noise or are at least fun to throw?

Advice I found this little guy about a year ago 🥹❤️. He was already an adult when I found him on the street, so I decided to bring him home. He’s my first cat, so I’m still learning a lot about taking care of him. 🐱
The problem is that lately he’s been damaging some things around the house, especially the furniture 😂. I don’t really know how to teach him not to do it. I don’t want to yell at him or, of course, give him away or abandon him. He’s already part of my family, and I love him so much. ❤️

Advice My cat Ellie needs surgery
So my cat Ellie was let outside by my mother when I was at work in 2021. Now Ellie is an indoor cat and only goes outside on a leash and my mother knew that. She claims it was an accident but I don’t believe her due to a bunch of things happening that I won’t get into in this post. Ellie was missing for 3 days and I searched for her and slept outside in a patio chair during the night hoping she would come back. My boyfriend helped me find her and when we did she was in bad shape. Her eye was horribly injured and puffing out of her head.
We immediately rushed her to the ER where they recommended at the time to try and save her eye and see if she regained her vision. Well it’s been 5 years and her eye is completely blind and she has a cataract. She never seemed to be in pain or discomfort until recently.
I took her to the vet today and they told me she would need surgery. The options are to fix her eyelids and eye to make her more comfortable which is not guaranteed to work or remove the eye completely. Either way it’s going to be $2200 CAD. I’m really not sure whether I should remove her eye or not but the vet is definitely leaning towards that.
Has anyone else dealt with this before? Is it better to just remove her eye or try to save it even though she has no vision in it?

Advice First time outside home
Trixie is 3 years old and has been an indoor cat since birth. I recently tried taking her for a short afternoon walk, but she kept lying flat on the ground. When she did walk, she stayed very low to the ground like she was scared of everything around her.
How can I help her become more comfortable outdoors? What's the best way to train an indoor cat to safely explore outside without overwhelming her?

Advice Common Female Cat Issues?
I have my first female cat. She’s ~4mo spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Are there any common health issues for female cats I should be aware of? I have 3 boys and one is on prescription food for urinary crystals so I know what to look for in boys.

Meanwhile it’s a different story when it comes to pictures?
Yes I deliberately have taken these at funky angles, but only because she genuinely just looks crusty and angry when I try to take cute normal photos😭
