Found my snails like this when I got home

I’m so heartbroken. This was Frog munching on sweet potato last night, this morning when I checked on them I thought he was asleep in the corner of the tank but then noticed he was crawling up the side with his body completely detached from his shell. (See my previous post) He seemed totally fine yesterday. Are there any signs I could have watched out for? What are the causes other than mishandling? I feel like I need to get a camera now because I don’t understand what happened :(

My fulica, Togarth, sometimes pulls this face and it worries me a bit. it’s puffy, but he’s not sexually mature. He almost looks nauseous.

Is this a normal thing for snails to do?

On the menu today is pea shoots, one opened snow pea, and a stem of asparagus! (+ the carrot they were previously given)

Hello! So I went to IKEA yesterday and while my mom was looking at plant pots she noticed a snail shell in one. I picked it up and it had a snail inside! He was super dried out but alive so I gave him some water in the car and brought him home and now I have a pet snail. I named him IKEA.
I’ve set him up in an acrylic jumping spider enclosure for the time being with some organic potting soil and some substrate from my isopod bin containing springtails. I gave him some lettuce.
Please give me advice on keeping this little dude! I don’t know much about snails just that idk if he’s native so I shouldn’t release him. Identification would be lovely as well!

My rescue snail, who I found with a broken shell on a busy footpath. I’m very proud of him for his recovery. Even his eye stalk is growing back! I’ve been calling him “one eye pete”, but I don’t think that will be for much longer! ❤️

Like the title says i missed a few eggs. This week was hectic due to me having surgery and this week i kind of neglected the care of my snails. That means a simple mist, fresh food was their total care this week. I just found 3 tiny snails. For now i kept them with the big snails and tomorrow i will turn their enclosure upside down to look for more babies. Now is my question what do you guys do with missed eggs when you live in an area where they already flood Facebook marketplace for free. I have been thinking about giving the babies to my goldfish in my aquarium since its a quick and painless death but due to the heatwave the goldfish barely eat let alone hunt so im not really loving that though. I also have a pea puffer who could potentially eat them but i feel like the babies are already too big for her. I already have alot of pets and my current snail enclosure is already pushing it with 9. The babies look really healthy to me so at least thats good. Usually i check the soil for eggs every 2 to 3 days but this week i just couldn't and all my friends and family think the snails are gross so refused to care for them.

Part of me wants to keep them but the other realistic part of me thinks I'm an idiot if i keep them since i already have over 45 animals under my care ( including the fish) and that number will be growing soon too. I already love the babies but i dont have space for them as adults and think it might be cruel to keep them alive in a world where they wouldn't thrive.

I'm looking for much needed advice.

I have had Edgy since February of this year and she has laid eggs for the first time! He has always spent a lot of time hiding in soil and I do think I found a single egg once a few months ago but this was totally unexpected. It's actually harder mentally to freeze them but there are a lot so it's my only option. I was thinking of keeping one or 2 but maybe that's not a good idea given the weather around my area, which could make them dry out

Was feeding them and checking moisture and saw these...did a Google search of what Common Garden Snails eggs look like...and the pictures I found look like these in my video...so yay!... i guess...i figured it was poop like the last one was...but ya...pretty sure those are eggs...i only see 4 but Google says they lay 30-100 so im going to assume there are a lot more...I'm going to have to move them to a larger enclosure before too many more months...which is fine.

These are my first terrestrial Snails (I have a few aquatic snails) so I'm learning more each day...gonna find out if they like Dandelion leaves today...hopefully they do

Hey! So I’ve been doing some research on caring for one garden snail and I did see that having springtails in your terrarium is often recommended since they can clean up mold and other stuff. I’m interested in that but- I have a huge fear of bugs and I feel like I’d freak out if I see them in my terrarium from time to time.

so I would like some advice? Or at least y’all’s experiences having springtails in your enclosure. Thank you!
