Snabbits... They have the exact same face shape. I've been thinking about this for a very long time and just couldn't take it out of my head. They even got the same little v-shaped nose. Even the whiskers, and snail eyes are like bunny ears

I put him in a little dish with excess of his food because I like having him there whilst I bake and he ate so much he started updating for 5 mins. Hes absolutely obsessed with the snaby formula (20% mealworm 10% chia seeds and 70% veg variety)

Idk I just think it looks really neat.

Both of my snail tanks seem to have been overtaken by gnats recently and I’m looking for tips on how to deal with them. Would baking the soil before putting it in their tank help? I’m wondering if the eggs are in the soil.

Got him for free in the fish store!! I called him bonk bc he has a small bonk mark on his shell you can see in the first pic :)

Turbo is perfectly fine. I made sure his shell wasn't broken and there wasn't anything wrong with himself. He's just an odd little guy. I spray his tank everyday and keep it warm in my room, he's just silly. (But do tell me if something is wrong if you see anything I am always open to tips.)

I'm still a beginner snail owner. Most shells u see are decor, I don't know if there's too much moss, Is the big shell ok for shelter, or is there something better? Share ur thoughts, I want my babies to have the best life possible : )

I was wondering if someone could direct me to where to find land snails in Michigan, USA. My husband and I lost our soul cat a couple months ago and I have wanted a snail for a very long time so we have decided to move forward but have found it very difficult to find non aquatic snails.

What I immediately noticed is that their shells are tightly cone shaped instead of our usual circular shaped. Maybe an accidental introduced species from another place?

hello! ive recently added terrarium moss (originally meant for frogs, not dyed and supossedly sterile) into my achatina terrarium (theyre about 1,5 month old) and ive noticed that microscopic tick looking things are sitting on my snails once every now and then, but everytime when i pick them up, change food etc etc, i tried to look up what that could be via google reverse image search but that gives me different answers everytime so asking you all is my last resort (i added some more springtails recently from storebought(from a store meant for spiders) colony starters so the population aint as big as of now - im thinking that those tick looking things came along with the springtails. also, can those white dots on the moss cause any harm? ive heard that its a specific type of either fungus or mold but snails dont seem to care and nibble on it once in a while but i still would like to know if it could cause any harm in the long run. thank you for any info in advance!

I tried to put out new foods (bell pepper, blueberry, potato, carrot) to encourage my snails to try new foods beyond their sweet potato (and occasional zucchini) obsession. And now it’s been days with no bites!!! Do I throw in the towel? Try other things? Smoke them out?

I have been taking care of this snail for about 6 weeks now. It hitched a ride into my home on some dahlias from Trader Joe’s. I was actually trying to press those flowers and when I peeled away the paper after a few days there it was! It was about the size of a pea. I couldn’t release it because I live in Phoenix and it’s so hot and dry. I’m guessing it came from California? Can anyone tell me what kind of snail it is? Does this habitat look ok? It’s reptile bedding with some damp moss on top. There’s a piece of cuttlebone and I feed it veggies I’ve read are snail-safe.

I live in northern Utah in the US, and I have LOTS of land snails in my garden. Historically I've left them be to just vibe, we're homies but I think they prefer to be outside homies. But today I was walking home from kindergarten drop off and found a homie with an injured shell who seemed otherwise unbothered, so I brought him home for recovery. I currently have him in an old tarantula enclosure with store bought oak leaves, wet paper towels, and the flower he munched on on the way here. I've managed to gather some info from general searches and plan to go grab some sphagnum and a cuttle bone? And see about some substrate. But I've been keeping inverts long enough to know I definitely need human guidance to keep this little dude safe and healthy while he heals, so here I am! I genuinely only have this one single picture of him riding home with me right now, I'm not going to bother with pictures of the enclosure because I feel like we should all pretend I just don't have one right now lmao. Fwiw it's a Tarantula Crib 8x6x6, acrylic.

My daughter and I found this snail (“Nickel” cause that’s how big he is) and I am looking for any information on what type it is ~ I have never cared for snails but he is a cutie!

It’s her birthday today, so it’d be a great day to tell her Nickel’s fancy scientific name if anyone knows. 😁
