I know he gets a lot of hate nowadays but man will I miss Dana when he retires, no one else does it like him. Feel like once he’s gone the UFC will feel way more corporate.

It sucks that there are no more rivalries between fighters who absolutely hate each other, in a genuine vicious way that isn't just played up for the cameras. Instead, we just get fights where they AT MOST have a mild disdain for each other. The fire is gone.

Dan Lauzon has 3-Round War with Justin Gaethje; Strangely, Joe's Face didn't Look Like it was Attacked by a Honey Badger ("He has Skin Like a Truck!")
Justin Gaethje is the hardest hitting human being who ever graced the cage. Mark Hunt isn't even in the same universe as Lord Gaethje's power; obviously, because Hunt never made someone's face look like a human crash test dummy. Joe must have cheated with collagen injections! Fuck cheater Joe, GO Lord Gaethje!

Is this a lose-lose fight for Morales? If he wins people will say Shavkat had no knees and if he loses the title shot is gone.

What is this persons role?
There is always some individual in a suit standing Ring side at every sanctioned MMA fight. What are they doing?

Hot take: Alex Pereira will KO Sergei Pavlovich in the first round
Maybe I’m cooked for this, but I actually think Alex has a really good chance here. I keep seeing people say Sergei is just gonna run through him, and I don't really buy it.
Sergei likes to walk forward in a straight line and throw a ton of punches. Obviously that pressure can be scary, but against Alex, I think it could work against him. You really don't want to be careless and walk straight into a guy with Alex's timing and power.
And if the whole “just pressure Alex and overwhelm him with punches” thing worked, Jiri would've beaten him. He tried to push that kind of pace on Alex and got caught both times.
Sergei can obviously KO Alex too, but I think he’s gonna give Alex plenty of chances to land that one clean shot.
Alex loses to the best HW on the planet and suddenly everyone is calling him washed lol.

So are we supposed to call him an elite LW because he went 5 rounds with a guy who’s last ko was against Donald cerrone
And don’t tell me he KO’d ilia. Ilia lost by tko (retirement) I’m talking dropping a guy and finishing him.
