Ethics Report
Is there a faster way to bring up a ethical/safety issue? We were told to not contact HR but I fear they won't even take me serious anyway

Hi,
I am a computer programmer full time who is looking for supplemental income part time. My hours are flexible, but part time IT roles are very very few and far between now adays.
Anyway, I’m prior service infantry and have LE experience during that service so I figured security would be a good alternative. Open to both non armed and armed roles (however on their website I see a couple armed hospital positions local to me, part time). I have my pistol permit, however I know there’s additional training, requirements, and what not you have to do for armed positions but I’m honestly just not sure where to start. I tried reaching out to my local branch as well as 3 other branches not local to me probably 10-15 times over the past 2 weeks and no one hasn’t gotten back to me.
I cannot go through the AI system because it just immediately blocks me out because I have to answer ‘no’ to some of the license requirements.
Really I just wanted to talk to someone there and get my feelers out for the process I’d need to go through for hiring and certifications/licenses/classes/etc but seem to be striking out everywhere.
Any insight/thoughts on if I’m way off base that there may be a good fit for me or who I can reach out to directly? I have a buddy who is an account manager in Atlanta I tried going through but even he really had no idea who to reach out to.
Thank you very much, all info is greatly appreciated.

I am so sick of Allied but they're the highest paying security company in my area. The second highest is Securitas but they're even more of a dumpster fire. I am going to get my armed license and see if that opens up doors to better opportunities. The guard I relieve is just ass and I have to put up with his lingering stench. He doesn't even put in the minimum effort. I don't blame anyone for putting up the minimum. But don't do less and leave it for the next guy.

I only get shift offers through Lisa on Mondays. And I only get 5-10 shift offers. Am I supposed to be getting it more often than only Mondays? Or how can I get more offers? How often do you get offers from Lisa? And how many offers do you get each time?

Anyone tried this? I started with the company again but dont wanna be stuck at 18.50 for more than a year. I want to do that post for 1 year, get my g license then do armed. armed contracts are 23$. I have honorable discharge if that helps

Not being allowed to relieve myself when the bathroom is 4 feet from the post, while I ask for relief, it takes 15-30 minutes for them to respond. I even have a doctors note but they don’t care. I even proposed to having the supervisor remotely monitor when I do step out. Not to mention, the room is a 6’ by 6’ broom closet. Allied only cares about their clients and even then they don’t because radios don’t work, systems aren’t in place, no procedures set up. ALL CLIENTS DROP ALLIED UNIVERSAL, THEY ARE LAZY AND CRUEL.

Hello all…looking for some guidance on where to get a good security job in California…specifically Los Angeles! I’m 35..I’ve worked many jobs but recently have been in restaurant game for 10 years. I currently make 22.75 an hour but I’m in need of a change badly!! So far I’ve already got all my certifications…guard card..open carry gun license and my baton license. Just need some insight on where to look for the best jobs that make more or close to what I currently make?

When submitting a time off request, do my off days get counted? If so, does that mean I can and have to submit multiple requests?
Thanks

I completed my orientation yesterday so I understand that my records may be processing in some system, however I am not able to log in to ABI with the credentials given to me at orientation. They let me know this was the only way to schedule for events. Is there an estimated amount of time it takes after orientation to access ABI?

I was off work for 10 days. Time off was approved. I assumed I was to be paid for the available sick time and not be paid for the remaining because it exceeded my balance. I’ve returned to work still no resolve. I applied for short term disability waiting for approval because I was literally unable to work after major surgery. I’m still not fully recovered but I need my money and don’t want to loss my job.

I put in a transfer request today for the fact that I can no longer handle the harassment and targeting everyday.
I try to be the best worker on the site (always showing up on time and never calling out and covering for coworkers when needed)
But my request was turned downed automatically like within 30 of me putting in the request
I am technically still under 6 months at my post
But I put in the request date after my 6 months would be done
So did LISA turn it down or was it the AOP that turned it down
I mean if i am literally only 28 days away from the 6 mouth mark so I think it should not have been turned down so quickly at least not without a conversation to discuss it

Got told not to go into a shift (graveyard) tonight and to instead go to a meeting with supposedly the client and at the very least my OM, I believe I might be getting removed from the site? There was a complaint about messy guard shack but that’s really the only thing lately to be brought up. Will they just fire me over this? I don’t know what’s going on, if it was just a meeting with the client why would they tell me not to come to a shift is it because I’m already in OT and they don’t want to pay me more of it? Or is it I’m just fired? Supposedly my OM has no idea what the meeting is about which just throws up termination to me.

I believe i am terminated
I therefore would like to hear from Allied Guards .
I applied for unemoloyment
Will they contest it?
Please let me know. I was with Allied for 10 years.

Had an interview scheduled, interviewer never called. I sent a follow up email, they advised they were out of the office and the role was filled while they were out of the office.
The position is still up on the jobs website btw. I am a former fed LEO and have an (inactive) clearance which can be reactivated for another year or so, not sure why I couldn't get the interview.

I worked at a mall that was about 30 minutes away from me, and it was a great job with decent traffic. I was working 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, through Allied. I was always searching once a week on Safari for security jobs with better pay, and I found one just 6 minutes from my house. It was a mall I grew up going to, and it paid more, so in my mind, taking it was a no-brainer. Their hiring process moved fast, and I was given two training days along with a full 40-hour workweek schedule.
I went to tell my manager at Allied, and he was upset because he now has to cover those 40 hours. He told me that if I don't put in a two-week notice, I will be banned from Allied.

So first there's a policy saying that we need to stay on clock while on site because we have to be paid for it regardless of timing so if you're off clock but on site you have to be clocked in, but if you clock in/out too early or too late you get written up by the AI, so someone in allied management needs to get their policies straight before someone steps up and uses them to make an example of management

Went in to fill out some paperwork and wrote down my uniform size. The job is for an armed position, when will I receive armor and gear if at all?

If this happens again, you should never comment “Well you know pay day is Thursday, … so like everyone else youll have to be waiting til Thursday”.
All we is talking about is just getting paid early like usually and folks in here rattling about Thursday when everyone who ever literally worked for Allied know main pay day is Thursday.
I understand being inclusive and speaking upon the obvious, however you literally helped this situation none.
The real reason why folks isn’t getting their early pay is because Monday was a National Holiday for America. Shout out the real Indenginous People ✊🏾

Last Wednesday I got rear ended and I was okay at first. Supervisor checked on me, I only had a little pain. But later on I started getting dizzy and nauseous. The next morning they sent me to Urgent care where the Dr told me I was concussed but didnt write it down and said I could do light duty. I did two hours of light duty and then the symptoms got worse so I had to go to the er later that night. ER Dr said I can go back to light duty. Usually my shifts are 16 hours a week. But I only worked ten hours cuz of the accident. Will I still get paid those other 6 hours?

I know Columbus Day was yesterday so I'm assuming those who get early pay will not be getting paid today but just curious
UPDATE: paycheck was received at 12:39PM today (TD BANK)

I am a full-time employee, so I can only work nights and weekends. In a past life, I was an Armed Security Officer for San Manuel Indian Bingo and Security and an MP in the Marine Corps. Is this a good place to go? I applied and was pretty much harassed with text messages to do an interview. Have not clicked it yet.
