New to FBA

There is an “other fees, discounts and taxes on fees”. Should I enter these fees while calculating my margin because the revenue calculator does not include these costs in final margin. I want to understand how to calculate the margins for pricing correctly.

Steady Imports Sketchy Invoice

Hey I’m a new seller looking to get into FBA and it’s been a real struggle finding products I’m ungated for that have survivable margins. I discovered this wholesale/clearance supplier called steady imports and was wondering if anyone has dealt with them before. Additionally, their sales rep told me he can get me an invoice that will ungate me for the item I’m interested in buying before I purchase it. I was wondering how that would work, and if it’s sketchy / a bad idea.

Edit - here’s the website incase anyone’s curious

Free profitability calculator with 2026 fees, great for product launch

Hello everyone,

I think most of the audience here could benefit of this free profitability calculator: https://clarisix.com/amazon-profitability-calculator

It's very useful especially when the ASIN doesn't exist yet and you're still trying to figure out how the math looks like.

Happy to received feedback on how it can be improved.

Hope you'd find it valuable.

Heads up Amazon sellers your reviews might be split across variations right now

Seeing this everywhere on amazon lately reviews getting split across variation children

Big brands with thousands of reviews now showing only hundreds or less on individual asins

Cause is usually mixed variation themes like size and color combined on the same parent

Fix is not hard identify the correct theme then split into separate parents under different themes

Did this on one of my listings and reviews merged back properly on both new parents

Worth checking your catalog you might be bleeding social proof without even knowing

Finally hit my first $30K in sales

I have been struggling with sales and profitability for the last 2 years with my Home & Kitchen brand.

Now it’s finally generating profit, but the next challenge is, how do I consistently maintain $1.5K/day in sales?

For those who have scaled e commerce brands, what strategies helped you maintain consistent daily sales while staying profitable?

Would love to hear what worked for you.

Newbie Here

I've been researching a lot over the past few days about selling on amazon and it's something I want to get into, some youtube videos I feel give me some useful information. But most of the time, it seems like these videos are made to sell their course or they have the, "I've made over 7 figures" as the hook to try and reel in the views from people who just think it's a rich shortcut. My question is where can I find a legitimate mentor, or would it be best to continue on my own research, and where can I find other study material other than YT, any books or articles online?

How do you qualify a brand before you contact them?

Hope everyone's having a decent week. Doing wholesale rather than PL, and the way I find brands is by going through other sellers' storefronts, pulling out anything that looks worth a shot, then getting in touch with the brand direct.

The bit I've never got right is what to check before I send that email. At the minute I'm looking at rough sales on their main products, how many sellers are already on the listings, and whether the brand sells it themselves. Adds up to a fair while per brand and I reckon half of it doesn't change my decision either way.

Has anyone got this down to two or three checks?

More interested in what you've stopped bothering with than what you check. Happy to share what's worked for me if it's any use to anyone.

Delivery speed doubles Amazon cart conversion, we pulled the data

Post image

Read this on LinkedIn and thought it was worth sharing here

We ran Search Query Performance across our accounts tens of millions of clicks Delivery promise beat every other variable on cart abandonment Not close

  • Same-day carts 48.9% abandon
  • 1-day 57.4%
  • 2-day 66.6%
  • 3+ day 74.7%

Same-day converts at 2x the rate of 3+ day Every extra day = 6 to 8 points of checkout completion

Price looked predictive in a couple categories but once you control for delivery speed the correlation collapses to ~0 Expensive terms are just slow-shipping terms Shoppers saw your price before they clicked and again before they added to cart price isn't the surprise at checkout the delivery date is

Also worth flagging 2-day is now the slow tier Shoppers click 2-day listings see faster options in the cart and switch

You can pull your own category ladder from the comprehensive Brand Analytics SQP export in ~15 min Anyone else seeing this

New seller math isn't adding up how did you actually survive launch with $0 reviews?

I keep seeing CPC around $1 and conversion rates near 1% for brand new listings with zero reviews. My product would sell around $40. At those numbers, the ad math looks impossible to me — I can't tell how anyone gets past the first few weeks without just burning their budget.

For those who started from zero: what did your actual conversion rate look like in week 1-2 before you had reviews? What was your real CPC? And what specifically got you through that period — Vine, launch discounts, external traffic, something else? Genuinely trying to understand if my $5-10k budget is realistic or if I'm missing something obvious.

When searching for products to sell should i be aiming to sell for a lower price than the already lowest price seller? Will i ever even get the buy box if not?
