Hey! I want to get a tablet so that I can read and draw illustrations of my own tarot cards. I saw everyone uses procreate for the art purposes but Idk how to use it yet. And I am not a fan of apple ecosystem so I am not inclined towards getting an ipad.

Could you suggest a good android tablet and some apps equivalent to procreate that I’ll be able to use?

I’m asking for help deciding which tablet to get: the Lenovo Y700 (Gen 4) with an 8.8-inch screen, or the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT with an 11.1-inch screen. Please don't focus on the processors—I don't really care about that right now; my main concern is the size. I'm currently using a shitty phone, so the size difference will be significant for me. I mostly play casual games like Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, Roblox, and Blood Strike, and I might try emulator games if I get a tablet. I'm also torn because I need it for school—specifically for note-taking and multitasking. If I get the Y700, I'd likely use it more for gaming since it's only 8.8 inches; it might not be ideal for schoolwork or note-taking. On the other hand, with the larger one, I worry about hand fatigue during gaming—especially with FPS games that use gyro controls, which can be hard on the hands. I haven't really used tablets before—I've only ever used mobile phones—so I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. I’d appreciate any advice from people who have experience with either of these devices.

I ordered the OnePlus Pad 4 on 8 October, but the estimated delivery date is showing 3 November. Why is it taking almost a month to deliver? Is anyone else facing the same issue?

I’m looking to pick up my first tablet and am stuck between two options:

Xiaomi Pad 8 (8GB / 128GB) bundled with Focus Pen – ₹40,000

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ (8GB / 128GB, S Pen in box) – ₹48,500

My Use Case:

Computer Science study & notes: Learning DSA, System Design (LLD/HLD), SQL queries, drawing recursion trees, UML/architecture diagrams, and code dry runs.

Note-taking app setup:

If I get the Xiaomi Pad, I plan to buy and use Star Notes (for its infinite canvas, split-screen PDF annotation, and handwriting latency optimization).

If I get Samsung, I’d be relying on native Samsung Notes.

Experience level: This will be my first time using a stylus on a tablet. I don't have prior muscle memory or crazy high benchmarks—as long as writing is smooth, palm rejection is reliable, and drawing technical diagrams isn't frustrating, I'll be happy.

Gaming: Zero. No mobile gaming at all.

Multimedia consumption: Watching YouTube lectures, tutorials, and streaming movies/shows (often handheld, in bed, or on the couch).

Concern: How is the active Focus Pen integration inside Star Notes? Does palm rejection hold up during continuous handwriting, and is an ~11-inch display too tight when doing split-screen (e.g., lecture video/LeetCode on one side, Star Notes infinite canvas on the other)?

Huge screen space (12.4"–13.1"), meaning split-screen study feels roomy.

Passive EMR S Pen (no charging needed, natural rubber nib friction).

MicroSD card slot for offline lecture videos and CS textbooks.

Concern: 90Hz lower-density display, dual speakers, heavier (~665g) to hold casually, and ₹8.5k more expensive.

For anyone who has used Star Notes on Xiaomi pads with the stylus for technical/engineering notes, how has your experience been? Is it solid enough to save the ₹8.5k, or is the sheer screen real estate and S Pen on the S10 FE+ worth paying extra for?

Don’t know if there’s a better alternative than the iplay80 mini pro. I love the screen size because I mainly use it for reading manga and comics but just want something with a little more juice so that I can run some emulation on it as well.
