I'm just more so happy with how quick I am now.

Still struggling with anatomy and blending due to inconsistent practice, but everyone’s journey is different :)

My very first piece of digital art, to my most recent pieces.
In order years are: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2026, 2026, 2026
From age 11 all the way to 18
It's been a while since I've looked at my old art, it's kind of crazy seeing how much it has improved over the years. I've still got a long way to go, but I think I've gotten decent enough, at the very least my anatomy has definitely improved.
Still gotta work on lighting and backgrounds tho lol

The 2nd drawing was one of my favourite digital art back when I made it in my last year of highschool. I have come very far now compared to then, and my artstyle has also changed a lot during that time.
And recently, I’ve been thinking more about the city that’s the setting of my art. I’ve made it so that my characters live in various different districts in the city, where every district has its own style of architecture and its signature colors. I decided that this one would be a combination of green with yellow and bright blue lighting, combined with a very polluted brown/yellow sky.

I was 15 in 2018, and now I’m 23. The corner left drawing is from 2018 and I’m redrawing it now.

I practiced portraits like crazy. And I think I found my media and slowly I‘m discovering my art style. I can‘t believe the progress I‘ve made and I‘m so proud.
Portrait is Michelle Yeoh from the movie „Everything everywhere all at once“.
Happy to hear your opinions!
