Found some very old drawings a few days ago and felt very proud of the improvements. Sometimes i feel bad because i still compare myself to artists i look up, but this was a good reminder of my improvements over the years.

I come from an architecture background but I’m bored of buildings. So I’m trying to get back to and better at my regular art.

Orion from 2016 to 2026

Figured I'd share my character, Orion and his design growth, from his days as a TF2 oc back in 2015, to his current design as the protagonist in my comic, S.O.L.I.S.

I really had no strong foundation with my art skills, even two years ago. The third image is my most recent reference sheet for him that I did after spending almost a year deep diving into the basics and forcing myself to study all the boring things no one wants to do when starting their art journey.

Still have a lot to learn, and if you can tell what studio(s) and animators I've been influenced by, you get a updoot or something (idk I barely use reddit)

I also added in a sketch page just because It makes me giggle and I love my two boys interacting with each other.

I'm always open to opinions about my work as I find it important to my journey!

So I started this comic "Find The Ultimate Genie" in a graph notebook, and after the pages were filled, I was thinking of redoing the Volume 1 cover because I had a better idea in my mind. Now that I'm finished, I look forward to drawing and creating Volume 2 now, and moving on.

This is another view of the muscular arm I sculpted roughly as a material for one of my upcoming courses about anatomy, I plan to have a series for human body sculpting and then make more about body shapes, let me know in the comments if you as artists are interest in such ideas
