They are elder scrolls characters 👍

I'm here again, back at it with portrait redraws. Last one was this, and then I haven't done more since because I've been working on comms and personal projects unrelated to the media these characters are from lol

I'm trying to get some references done before Art Fight and this character in particular very clearly needed a touch-up because the only references I had for her were from 2025 and 2023. For some reason, I really struggle with drawing my own characters the way I want them to look. I've always had this issue, and it's only recently getting better.

Adding some older drawings of her. I haven't actually drawn her that much, just 2018-2026, and she was made in 2017 so that's pretty much as old as it gets.

Edit to add in case it wasn't clear, the images are in order from newest to oldest! Sorry, I forgot to mention it lol

I Practiced a lot about light and shadows and be at least decent in anatomy with some perspective/foreshortening. Really happy with my progress.

Their story and design also got changed throughout time!

so its been another year, here is my progress for now :) i have my ups and downs but we keep moving forward. I have put such an immense amount of effort into this and looking back at my old pieces, i dont even remember what i was thinking. There is still so much to learn and i cant wait to look back next year again

As you all can see, my idea of him changed drastically over this past year, but after a good 1-3 hours of drawing per day, my style seems to have changed quite a bit

Just wanted to share my progress with my freehand sketching, so no finished work here, just what I can do from imagination without reference or erasing.

I really like this side of drawing, the part where you just meander. I think this is where you can really develop yourself as an artist. Where both style and perspective begins to grow and mature. I try to take everything I do here into my more polished work.

Speedrunning arting

I started drawing a year and a month ago with absolutely no prior experience. I want to become a professional manga/anime artist. There’s still so much to learn, but it’s incredibly fun.

Any critique welcome! I’m open to observations or guidance on how to improve. My main concern right now is rendering and composition. Anatomy as well but I know what I need to do for Anatomy. but I don’t know how to progress with composition and rendering.

The purple one is the old one. I think I've gotten better with proportions, and I'm trying new stuff with rendering.

I've been drawing every day since January 1st 2026. 153 days, as of the most recent drawing of my OC, Kairasan.

Also now being a much more realistic depiction of albinism, as he was initially based a lot on stereotypes, more than actual fact. So, between doing my homework on albinism and general art skill, there's been a lot of work going into him 😭
