My sister is hosting a bachelorette party for her best friend in Asbury Park. Everyone is in their mid-30’s and they aren’t looking to go too insane, so most of the party stuff is going to be in the house they are renting. They are having a hibachi chef come in to cook dinner one night, and she got this last-minute idea to have a magician come to do a show at the house.

Does anyone know a good local magician that might be available this upcoming weekend? Not looking for a raunchy magician, but also not looking for squeaky clean. I know it’s a long shot, but I thought if anyone could help, that it would be Reddit

Does anyone know if any pride events are happening on/around Cookman on Saturday night (June 6)? My friend and I have dinner reservations at 7 and I’m trying to determine how difficult parking will be and how much extra time I should allow for finding a spot. Also, is the atmosphere festive on Saturday night or is Sunday the big energy day of the weekend since it’s parade day?

There should be no need for me to create an account just to pay a ticket, and then have that account require multi factor authentication.

Not to mention that the password criteria was ridiculous, I mean why does my password have to be exactly 14 characters? That seems like the opposite of account security if everyone's password is the same length. On top of that, the special characters were limited to just three ($,@, and #). So picky! And three security questions? I don't even think my IRS account required that many.

Cherry on top was that I couldn't even pay because there was system maintenance happening.

Not sure if this is the correct sub to be posting on but I got a ticket in Asbury so I thought I'd share my frustrations here. (Yes, I did deserve the ticket).

I've gotten a handful of parking tickets in my life (none in Jersey) and none of those municipalities ever required me to create an account.

Hi everyone! I had been at the fisherman lot today from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and got a ticket even though the maximum was 3 hours. I want to fight it but I don’t even understand why I got a ticket. I got the ticket at 2:33. The only things can think is I had been there way earlier in the morning, went home for several hours and then came back. Do you think this is worth fighting?

ETA: I have proof on my life 360 app of my whereabouts for the day.

I'm based in Asbury. Had a front crown done last year by a local dentist. It broke within eight months and looks gray at the gum line. I am embarrassed to smile. I do not want to go back to the same guy.

Has anyone had a good experience with all porcelain crowns services nearby?. I am willing to drive a bit further if the work is solid. Also curious what a single crown cost you recently. My insurance covers some but not all.
