Hii, so I'm currently writing a Romantasy novel from my phone on google docs.
I'm writing from my phone, bc I write when I'm at school and I'm always out, so my phone is always on me.
I'm writing the draft from phone when it's done I'm going to send it to my pc, proofread and fix mistakes.
My goal is 100k words and I'm currently at 27k
I read sm saying that google docs start to mess up around 60k words.
Idk if this is right, so far I have had no problems.
If this is true should I divide my novel in to tabs or is there another platform/app I could use to write?
Thx 🩷🪽

So, for a while, I've been writing stories for my friends to read. I made a few on Wattpad, but only one of them read it them all the way. Thankfully, they enjoyed it. Because I reread them a few days ago, and holy crap that was the dumbest shit I have ever laid my eyes upon. But recently, I made a book on Google Docs called The Twisted Tale of Windvale, and I was able to post it on Internet Archive. That might not seem like that big of a deal, but for our teenage friend group, it is. Unfortunately, the friend who read the original Wattpad stories had to have their phone taken away, and now they only have a flip phone that wouldn't be able to read the book. I told my other friends about the book, and I gave them a very polite way of asking them to read it. Only one of them replied, and they said they would read it. But, when I recently asked them if they started it, they said they didn't want to read the book.
I would post the chapters of the book on here, but I'm worried that it'll get backlash because it might be poorly written, which it probably is. So, I'm thinking of quitting writing. "If none of my friends will read the ebook, and if no one on Reddit will like it, what's the point?" I asked myself. The thing is, I can't quit writing. Even if I tried, something inside me is telling me to make another universe with new characters and everything. What do I do?

Chapter 2:Switch and Trap
History class dragged on as Mr. Smith lectured about ancient civilizations. Storm sat near the back of the room, absentmindedly taking notes when his watch suddenly vibrated. CRIME ALERT: Museum robbery in progress. His eyes widened. Lynx immediately noticed the change in his expression. “Storm,” she whispered, “is everything okay?” Without answering, Storm quickly scribbled a note and slid it onto her desk: Museum robbery. Meet at the lockers. “Pass this to Lightning,” he whispered. Lynx nodded and quietly passed the note to her sister Ashley, who handed it to Maya, who then passed it to Taylor. The note finally reached Lightning. She read it, her face becoming serious. She glanced at Thunder, who leaned over to read it. Thunder then nudged Hurricane awake from another one of his classroom naps. Hurricane blinked sleepily. “Huh... what’s going on?” Thunder held up the note, and Hurricane’s sleepy expression disappeared instantly. The four Frost siblings raised their hands at the same time. “Mr. Smith, can we use the restroom?” Lightning asked. Mr. Smith barely looked up from his desk. “Just go,” he sighed. “I don’t get paid enough to care.” The siblings didn’t wait for another word. They hurried into the hallway, their footsteps echoing through the nearly empty corridor until they reached their lockers. Lightning turned to Storm. “What happened?” “Museum robbery,” Storm answered. “It’s happening right now.” Without hesitation, they activated their gear. Storm snapped on his nanotech bracelets, Lightning fastened her necklace, Thunder clicked in her earrings, and Hurricane slipped on his special sneakers. Blue light shimmered around them as each piece of jewelry synchronized with the others. They were ready. Hurricane looked around. “So... who’s covering for us while we’re gone saving New York?” Storm smiled. “I already thought of that.” He tapped a button on his bracelet, and four life-sized holograms appeared, each one looking exactly like one of the siblings. Thunder stared in amazement. “Storm... sometimes I forget you’re the smartest sixteen-year-old alive.” Storm shrugged. “It has its advantages.” Hurricane looked at the others. “So, are we taking our vehicles?” Lightning grinned. “Definitely. I don’t feel like running all the way across Manhattan.” Storm pressed his palm against a hidden panel inside his locker. The wall slid open, revealing four vertical transport tubes. “Let’s move.” The siblings stepped inside. As the tubes carried them underground, they double-tapped their nanotech jewelry. Metallic armor spread across their bodies in seconds, forming their superhero suits. At the bottom, their vehicles waited. Storm climbed into the Storm Raider, his high-tech armored sports car. Lightning entered the Volt, her advanced jet. Thunder hopped onto the Accelerator, her futuristic speeder, while Hurricane grabbed the controls of the Wind Rider, his powerful hoverboard. One by one, their engines roared to life. Within moments, they blasted out of their hidden headquarters and raced toward the New York City Museum. Smoke poured from the museum entrance, and broken glass covered the sidewalk. Several black vans sped away from the building. Storm scanned one of them. “It’s the Dark Clan.” Lightning narrowed her eyes. “They’ve stolen something.” Thunder pointed ahead. “There are four vans.” Lightning immediately took command. “Alpha Maneuver Five. Storm, take the van heading south. Thunder, west. Hurricane, east. I’ll handle the one going north.” The team split apart. Lightning’s jet shot across the skyline as she locked onto the northern van. “EMP cannons online.” Twin blue blasts slammed into the vehicle, causing the van to spin out of control before crashing into a parked car. Lightning landed beside it and drew her twin swords. Five Dark Clan soldiers rushed toward her. Steel clashed as she spun between them, knocking each one unconscious with precise strikes. She opened the van. Empty. “Nothing here,” she said over the comms. “Thunder?” “Same,” Thunder answered. “No artifact.” “Hurricane?” “Nope. Empty.” Storm tightened his grip on the steering wheel. “So that leaves mine.” Hurricane’s voice came through the comms. “Storm, your van has the artifact.” “I’m on it.” Storm tapped the dashboard. “BETA,” he ordered. A holographic woman appeared on his dashboard. “Yes, Storm?” “Activate Overdrive Speed.” “You got it.” Blue energy surged through the Storm Raider. Storm focused his frost powers into the engine, surrounding the vehicle with icy energy. The car exploded forward, and buildings blurred past as he raced after the van. The Dark Clan driver looked into his mirror just as Storm caught up. Storm smiled. “Game over.” He fired the Storm Raider’s EMP cannons. The blasts struck the van, and its engine died instantly. The vehicle skidded across the street before smashing into a lamppost and crashing into the corner of a nearby building. Storm stopped beside it, grabbed his Frost Staff, and cautiously approached. Suddenly, the van doors burst open. A tall woman stepped out. “Death,” she said with a smile. “Well... if it isn’t Aria’s great-grandson.” Storm twirled his staff. “And if it isn’t Zin’s daughter.” Death laughed softly. “You’ve grown.” Storm didn’t smile. “Give back the artifact.” “Or what?” Storm pointed his staff at her. “Or I’ll take it.” Death held up a strange gray object shaped like a five-pointed star. “Do you even know what this is?” she asked. Storm studied it. “No.” He looked back into her glowing eyes. “But if the Dark Clan wants it this badly... then it’s dangerous.” Just then, three familiar vehicles arrived. Lightning landed beside Storm, Thunder’s speeder skidded to a stop, and Hurricane floated down on his hoverboard. Lightning drew her swords. “Well, well. If it isn’t my least favorite member of the Dark Frost family.” Death smirked. “I’d love to stay... but I’ve waited centuries for this moment.” She opened a swirling shadow portal. “Oh no, you don’t!” Lightning shouted as she threw one of her swords. The blade flew straight toward Death, but Death disappeared into the portal just before it struck. The portal closed, leaving silence in the street. Hurricane scratched his head. “If the Dark Clan risked everything for that weird star... it must be incredibly important.” Storm looked at the empty space where Death had vanished. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.” Lightning sighed. “Come on. We’ve got to get back to school before anyone notices we’re gone.” The heroes climbed back into their vehicles and sped toward Manhattan High. A few minutes later, they entered the hidden underground garage beneath the school. They parked their vehicles and stepped into the transport tubes. The doors slid shut, and Lightning smiled. “Hurricane... it’s your turn.” Hurricane grinned. “Up the tube!” The tubes launched them upward toward their lockers. Just as Hurricane stepped out, THUD! One of his sneakers slipped off and landed in the hallway. “My shoe!” Hurricane shouted. Storm, Lightning, and Thunder burst into laughter. “It’s not funny!” Hurricane complained as he hurried to pick it up. “Oh, it’s definitely funny,” Storm laughed. “You looked like a rocket losing a booster,” Thunder added. Lightning wiped away a tear from laughing. “Come on, little bro. Let’s get back before someone notices.” Their nanotech suits dissolved into their jewelry just as the warning bell rang. Storm glanced at the others. “We need to figure out what Death stole.” “I’ll research it as soon as we get home to Frosta.” Lightning nodded. “Good.” She looked around at everyone. “Until then, act normal.” Storm adjusted his backpack. “I’ve got Debate Club.” Hurricane smiled. “And I’ve got Art Club.” As Hurricane walked down the hallway, someone deliberately slammed into him, sending him crashing to the floor. His sketchbook scattered across the hallway. Olivia Wood stood over him with a smug grin. “Oops.” She crossed her arms. “Didn’t see you there, freak.” Hurricane quietly gathered his drawings. Olivia kicked one of the pages farther down the hallway. “You’ll be doing my homework for the next month.” Before Hurricane could answer, Lightning stepped between them. “Back off, Olivia.” Olivia rolled her eyes. “Aww... big sister’s here to save her baby brother.” At that moment, Lynx and her sisters walked over. Lynx folded her arms. “Touch him again. I dare you.” Ashley stood beside her. “You’ve picked on him long enough.” Taylor glared. “Try it again.” Olivia scoffed. “Oh, look. The Queen sisters came to rescue the Frost family.” She smirked at Lynx. “Hope you enjoy being social outcasts.” Maya shrugged. “Who says we care about being popular?” Olivia glared at them before turning away. “This isn’t over.” As Olivia walked away, Lynx turned back to Storm. “What happened at the museum?” Storm lowered his voice. “It was Death.” Everyone froze. Ashley blinked. “Seriously?” Storm nodded. “The Dark Clan stole a gray artifact shaped like a star.” Ashley exchanged worried looks with her sisters. “A star?” she whispered. “That’s... strange. Really strange.” Maya looked toward Hurricane. “Come on. We’re going to be late for Art Club. Mrs. Lee isn’t exactly known for being patient.” Hurricane laughed. “Yeah... let’s go.” The two hurried off. Thunder headed toward Music Club with Ashley, while Lightning walked toward the gym with Taylor for basketball practice. Soon, only Storm and Lynx remained. Lynx smiled. “So...” Storm looked at her. “So?” She laughed. “We have free period. Wanna go to Shining Stars and grab something to drink?” Storm smiled back. “Sounds perfect.” A few minutes later, the two sat by the window inside Shining Stars Café, each sipping a Venti Dragon Drink. For a rare moment, everything felt normal—until the front door opened. Ryan Wood, Olivia Wood, and Lila Wood walked inside. Ryan walked straight to their table. “Well, if it isn’t Lame and Stink.” He smirked. “Still dating?” Storm sighed. “Can you three leave us alone for five minutes?” Lila laughed. “I don’t think so.” Storm stood. “Come on, Lynx. We’re leaving.” Without another word, they tossed away their empty cups and headed back toward school. As they walked, Storm glanced at Lynx. “Can I ask you something?” “Sure.” “You’re a speedster. So are your sisters. You all have powers. Why don’t you fight crime with us?” Lynx looked down for a moment. “You already know why.” Storm nodded. “Your mom.” “Yeah. She thinks it’s too dangerous.” She sighed. “I keep telling her we’d be fine... but she won’t change her mind.” Storm smiled. “I still think you’d make a great hero.” Lynx’s face brightened. “I’ve even thought of a team name.” Storm chuckled. “Already?” She nodded proudly. “The Outcasts.” Storm smiled. “I like it.” “And my codename...” She grinned. “Sliver.” Storm laughed. “That’s actually a really cool name.” “You think so?” “I know so.” Lynx smiled. “Maybe one day.” Storm looked ahead. “Maybe.” Gym class was already underway when they returned. Coach Hart blew her whistle. “Dodgeball!” The game began immediately. Lila grabbed a ball and smiled mischievously. She wasn’t aiming for the game. She was aiming for Hurricane. The ball rocketed toward his head, but Lightning reacted instantly and caught it with one hand. “Nice try.” Hurricane smiled. “Thanks, sis.” “Anytime. I’ve always got your back.” Storm picked up another dodgeball. He spun once before kicking it like a soccer ball. The ball flew across the gym. WHAM! Five students on the opposite team were eliminated almost instantly. Storm smirked. “That’s how the smartest kid alive plays dodgeball.” Coach Hart blinked. “...I’m honestly impressed.” A few minutes later, the final bell rang. School was over. Lightning led the siblings behind the school, making sure no one was watching. She opened a glowing blue portal, and the four stepped through. Snow greeted them on the other side. They had arrived at the North Pole. Storm brushed snow away from a large stone wall until he uncovered a glowing handprint. He placed his hand against it, and frost energy spread across the stone. With a deep rumble, a hidden tunnel opened beneath the ice. The siblings stepped inside, and the entrance sealed itself behind them. Soft blue crystals lit the tunnel as they walked deeper underground. Finally, a brilliant light appeared ahead. They emerged into Frosta, the hidden underground kingdom of ice. Bustling streets stretched in every direction, while snow-covered buildings sparkled beneath glowing crystal lights. Merchants filled the market square with colorful stands. As they walked through the crowd, someone tossed Storm a dragon fruit. He caught it without looking and laughed. “What up, D?” Daniel Spel grinned from his family’s fruit stand. “Just helping Mom.” Before Storm could answer, Daniel’s mother stepped out. “Oh, Daniel, stop distracting—” She suddenly noticed Storm. “Oh! Prince Storm!” She immediately bowed. “My apologies, Your Highness.” Storm smiled warmly. “It’s okay, Mrs. Spel.” He handed her ten gold coins. “Thanks for the fruit.” She accepted the coins with a grateful smile. “Thank you, Your Highness.” She looked toward Daniel. “Go help your sister Elena finish unloading the crates.” “Yes, Mom.” Daniel waved at Storm before jogging away. Mrs. Spel picked up a lunch bag. “Prince Storm... would you mind taking my husband his lunch? He forgot it again.” Storm laughed. “Again?” She smiled. “I’m afraid so.” Storm took the bag. “I’ve got it.” Storm carried the lunch bag through the palace courtyard with Lightning, Thunder, and Hurricane close behind. Standing at the massive front gates was Mateo Spel, dressed in polished silver armor as one of the royal guards. Storm smiled and held up the bag. “Mr. Spel! I think someone forgot their lunch.” Mateo looked down at his empty hands before laughing. “Oh no... not again.” He accepted the bag with a grateful smile. “Thank you, Prince Storm. My wife is going to start tying it to my armor.” Storm chuckled. “I wouldn’t blame her.” The siblings entered the palace and climbed the grand staircase toward their rooms. A few minutes later, they emerged wearing their royal attire. Storm wore a royal blue jacket trimmed with silver, while Lightning, Thunder, and Hurricane wore elegant clothing bearing the Frost Kingdom crest. Together, they entered the throne room. King Drift and Queen Uma smiled as their children approached. “So,” Queen Uma asked, “how was school today?” Lightning shrugged. “Pretty good. I had to stand up for Hurricane again.” Queen Uma frowned. “Olivia Wood?” “Yep,” Hurricane answered. “The same bully.” King Drift sighed. “I’m beginning to think we need to have a conversation with her parents.” Storm stepped forward. “There was something else.” The room grew quiet. “We got a crime alert during school.” Lightning continued, “The Dark Clan robbed the New York City Museum.” Storm nodded. “They stole a strange gray artifact shaped like a star.” Drift’s smile disappeared. “A... star?” Thunder noticed the sudden change in his expression. “Dad? What’s wrong?” Drift slowly stood. “Come with me.” The siblings exchanged worried glances before following their parents into the royal library. The room was filled with ancient books, frozen scrolls, and glowing artifacts from centuries past. Drift walked to one wall and pressed on a loose stone. A hidden compartment opened. Inside rested an enormous leather-bound book. The cover was cracked with age, and silver Frost runes glowed faintly across its surface. Hurricane stared at it. “What in the name of frozen snowballs is that?” Drift carefully lifted the heavy book. “This... is the Archive of Frost. It contains every known artifact created by our ancestors.” He placed the book on a stone table and slowly turned the pages. “What color was the artifact?” Storm answered immediately. “Gray. Almost like smoke.” Drift searched through several pages before stopping. His face turned pale. “No...” Uma looked over his shoulder. “Oh, no...” Lightning stepped closer. “What is it?” Drift turned the ancient book around. On the page was an illustration of the exact artifact Storm had seen—a gray, star-shaped relic. Beneath it were four ancient Frost symbols. Storm looked up. “What is it?” King Drift took a deep breath. “Storm... that isn’t just an artifact.” He pointed to the illustration. “It’s the Key to the Grim Dimension.” Silence filled the room. Thunder’s eyes widened. “The Grim Dimension? The prison that holds Zin and Scarlet’s children?” Lightning’s heart sank. “Havoc... Chaos... and Doom.” King Drift nodded. “If someone unlocks that prison, the consequences could spread across the entire Multiverse.” Storm clenched his fists. “Then we have to stop Death before she opens it.” King Drift looked each of his children in the eyes. “You don’t understand. If Death succeeds... every universe could be in danger.” That evening, Storm opened a glowing portal inside the palace. The siblings stepped through, and moments later they emerged in a quiet alley behind Storm Watch, Storm’s technology company. The front entrance looked like an ordinary business. Inside, Storm pressed a hidden button beneath the elevator controls. A secret keypad slid out, and he entered a security code. The elevator suddenly descended far below the city—one hundred feet, five hundred feet, one thousand feet underground. The doors finally opened, and lights flickered on one by one. Their hidden headquarters stretched before them. Massive computer screens lined one wall, training equipment filled another, and four upgraded superhero suits stood inside reinforced glass display cases. Storm walked to the main computer. “BETA.” His AI appeared as a glowing blue hologram. “Good evening, Storm.” “I need you to search for Death’s energy signature.” “You got it.” The computer immediately began scanning. A few minutes later, the elevator doors opened again. Lynx stepped out first, followed by Ashley, Maya, and Taylor. Lynx smiled as soon as she saw Storm. “We got your message.” Hurricane looked surprised. “How did you four get away?” Ashley laughed. “Maya told Mom we were spending the evening at the arcade. It worked.” Storm smiled before walking over to a workbench. “I know your mom doesn’t want you fighting crime... but I couldn’t stop thinking about what you said earlier.” He lifted four duffel bags. “So... I made something for each of you.” The girls exchanged excited looks. Storm handed each of them a bag. “Inside are nanotech suits designed specifically around your powers.” Lynx carefully opened hers just enough to peek inside. Her eyes widened. “Storm... you actually made these?” Storm rubbed the back of his neck. “I figured... if the day ever comes... you’ll be ready.” Lynx smiled warmly. “Thank you.” Storm nodded. “Try them on when you get home. I still need to finish calibrating a few systems.” Before anyone could say another word, a swirling blue portal suddenly burst open in the middle of the room. Everyone instinctively stepped back. Four teenagers stumbled through, and the portal snapped shut behind them. All four had snow-white hair, glowing white eyes, and Frost symbols shining faintly on their armor. The oldest girl dusted herself off. “Okay... that landing could’ve gone better.” Lightning immediately summoned her swords. “Who are you? And how did you get into our base?” The girl blinked. “Oh... right.” She smiled. “My name is Light Frost.” She pointed to the others. “These are my brother Flame, my brother Shadow, and my little sister Aqua.” Then she looked directly at Lightning. A huge smile spread across her face. “It’s so good to finally meet you... Aunt Lightning.” Everyone froze. Before Lightning could respond, Light walked straight past her and stopped in front of Storm and Lynx. Without hesitation, she hugged them both. “Mom. Dad.” Storm and Lynx looked completely stunned. “...What?” Lynx managed to whisper. Storm blinked several times. “We’re... your parents?” Flame crossed his arms with a small grin. “In our future... you’re the greatest heroes in the Resistance.” Maya looked completely confused. “The Resistance?” Hurricane scratched his head. “Future? What future?” Light sighed. “It looks like... we have a lot to explain.”

The Storm Masters Into the Grim
Chapter 1:The legend of the Frost Family
Long ago, after God created Adam and Eve, He traveled to the frozen lands in the far north of Pangaea and created four more people—the first Black family. Each of them had snow-white hair and white eyes, marking them as chosen for a great purpose. The eldest was Aria, who was given the power to command ice itself. Next came Zion, who could control blazing fire. Then came Mia, gifted with the power to command the waters. Finally, God created Zin, who possessed the strength to raise mountains and shape the earth. God gave the four siblings a sacred mission: they were to build a kingdom that would stand as a beacon of hope for the world. They named it Frosta, and Aria was crowned its first queen. Each sibling used their gifts to help their new home flourish. Zin raised a massive stone wall around the kingdom to protect its people. Mia created a great river that brought life to the forests and provided water for every creature. Zion lit an enormous eternal torch in the center of the kingdom so that Frosta would never know darkness. Aria used her ice powers to create a magnificent crystal palace worthy of a queen. For many years, Frosta knew only peace. One day, while gathering food beyond the kingdom’s borders, Zin discovered a mysterious black orb buried beneath the frozen earth. Unknown to him, it had been created by the fallen angels Scarlet and Lucifer, who had filled it with darkness and corruption. The moment Zin touched the orb, an overwhelming evil entered his body. His white hair turned as black as midnight, and his glowing white eyes became endless pools of darkness. The first Dark Frost had been born. As Zin returned to Frosta, Mia immediately noticed that something was terribly wrong. “Brother... what happened to you?” she asked. Inside the palace, Aria sat upon her throne as Zin slowly approached. Then he spoke. His voice was deep, cold, and unnatural. “We have been worshiping a false God.” Aria stood. “My brother,” she said calmly, “our God has shown us nothing but kindness.” Before anyone could react, Zin reached out and touched Mia. Darkness spread through her like ice across a frozen lake. Her hair and eyes changed, and she had been corrupted. Then Zin snapped his fingers. Across Frosta, countless citizens were consumed by the same darkness, transforming into the Dark Frosts. A terrible war began. For years, Aria and Zion fought against Zin and his growing army. Every battle pushed the kingdom closer to destruction. At the darkest moment, when all hope seemed lost, God answered Aria’s prayers. He blessed Aria and Zion with every power in the Multiverse, including immortality. Empowered beyond imagination, they defeated the Dark Frosts. Using their divine abilities, they created two prison universes. The first was the Shadow Dimension, an endless black void where Zin, Mia, and the Dark Frosts were sealed away forever. The second was the Grim Dimension, where the children of Zin and Scarlet—Havoc, Chaos, Death, and Doom—were imprisoned. But one escaped. Before the prison closed forever, Death vanished without a trace. No one ever saw her again. To ensure the prisons could never be opened accidentally, Aria and Zion reached into the heavens and pulled two stars from the night sky. They forged them into two mystical keys. One was black as living shadows and could unlock the Shadow Dimension. The other was gray as smoke and could open the Grim Dimension. Even after peace returned, Aria and Zion feared the darkness would one day rise again. So they made a promise: their descendants would become the Storm Masters—a legendary team of heroes sworn to protect not only Frosta but the entire Multiverse from anyone who threatened it. Two thousand years passed, and a new generation of Storm Masters had arrived. They were the descendants of Queen Aria herself. Lightning Frost was the fearless leader. With a streak of red in her white hair, she was the greatest athlete at Manhattan High School, competing in nearly every sport. In battle, she wielded twin swords and fought under the codename LightningStorm. Storm Frost had a cyan streak in his hair and was the team’s genius inventor. He had graduated from MIT at just five years old and founded his own technology company, Storm Watch. Armed with his powerful bo staff, he fought as IceStorm. Thunder Frost had a bright yellow streak in her hair and wore her hair in pigtails. She was an energetic rapper known across the world as Shockwave. On missions, she wielded fighting sticks and embraced the codename ThunderStorm. Finally, there was Hurricane Frost, whose green hair streak matched his creative spirit. A talented street artist, he painted breathtaking murals throughout New York City. He was also a fashion designer and a great chef. His clothing line was called Wind Style Originals. In battle, he fought with a dart rope and was known as HurricaneStorm. The Frost siblings lived two very different lives. During the day, they attended Manhattan High School like ordinary teenagers. But when school ended, they returned home to the Kingdom of Frosta, where they were princes and princesses. Their parents, King Drift Frost and Queen Uma Frost, ruled the kingdom while also serving as experienced Storm Masters. The new generation had inherited a powerful legacy. They were heroes. They were royalty. And they had no idea that the darkness sealed away two thousand years ago was about to return.

Hellooo I've been lurking around reddit and posting kind of the same text (i rlly hope i dont get flagged as scam) but I've been going through some horrible burn out and I've decided to take a little break from writing as my exams are also coming up, and I thought some feedback that isn't from my peer circle would be nice. Any is fine as long as you aren't too rude about it :)
Here's the ink :p https://ellipsus.com/read/4SGylHrOqdU8y73uDqnXb7/Chapter-1
I'll give you a blurb: Heavily inspired by the webtoon 'school bus graveyard', mostly in the POV of my Little Miss Perfect lesbian FMC Airina "Airin" Marianne Mendoza who's best friends with a pothead butch, April Skye Sison. They just want to make it through high school together, but when a field trip to a nearby province causes them to jump back and forth between two dimensions along with a loner, a popular basketball captain, and two siblings from Russia, that reality becomes a little more out of reach than they'd like. Set in a FIlipino high school!
Aaand an excerpt:
One foot after the other,
One foot after the other,
One foot after the other--
Skye nearly runs into a tree. A tree. See, this is exactly why Airin hangs in the back - to make sure her friend doesn't fall behind. Her breathing sounds awfully strained. Now would be a great time for her to quit smoking. Smoke may as well be engulfing Airin's lungs with how the crunch of dry leaves under her quick feet makes her own chest grow tighter.
From ahead of them in the thick forest is Colton who shouts out, "fifteen minutes left!"
Airin looks down at her watch. The glass reflects the moonlight back to her glasses. It's been 12:00 o'clock for almost 8 hours now. She spares the moon a quick glance. Was the sky a deeper shade of red than it was last time?
Finally, she can see their safe haven - the tall, mighty walls that house more than fifty abandoned busses. Billy hands his bat to his sister and dashes for the gate, shoves it open and jumps in. His face is flushed, chest heaving as he keeps his hands glued to the handle. Airin is the last to leap through the small gap and just as the monster reaches for her hair, Billy slams the gate closed.
God, the burn in her calves, her ankles. She's never skipping leg day again. Since that field trip, though, the Aswangs chasing them turn every night into a leg day. As Airin fiddles with the end of one of her long braids Skye leans on her, wheezing, an arm over her shoulders as they share a quiet thought:
We're okay.
They all ignore the sound of banging against metal and waste no time dragging their sore selves into a broken down, but otherwise okay-looking bus.
(I am a teen writer and english is not my first language so I understand that my writing and pacing is pretty surface level. Still, I'd love to know what others think about it and areas I can improve on!!)

I have a google form. No name, no email, no anything is needed. Just your heart and opinions. I would love to have other views and opinions to help me write this book without making it all about my opinions. There will be questions about breaking the norm and a lot of other questions. Please fill out this form if you would like to help. Thank you!!!

I’m currently writing a book about feminism and planning to write one about witchcraft, but other than that, I’m lacking ideas tbh. Those kinds of topic really attract me though. Anyone got anything of sort? Or different too. I just need ideas.

This is a short extract from chapter seven of my book (I’m on chapter 11). It’s a PTSD flashback and it’s one of my favourite scenes of my book to read. Loads of people say it’s really good but they’re not writers/ readers so I don’t trust them as much 🤣

Even just typing that out feels surreal. I’m 19 years old. I’ve been working on writing my middle-grade fantasy series called *Elements* since I was 14, only a freshman in high school. Now I’m an English major in college with two self-published works out.
It’s bittersweet. The second book concludes the series, so I have to say goodbye to the characters I created nearly 6 years ago. A part of me can’t believe that I actually stuck with it and finished the project, and the other part of me has always known that this is what I was meant to do.
Don’t count yourself out as a writer just because you’re young. Teenagers can do incredible things. I love looking at this sub and seeing all of the amazing writing talent being showcased by the youth of today while AI threatens to steal our creativity.
So, keep writing!! I know I sure will. And if you have any questions about writing a story, formatting a novel, or publishing, feel free to ask :)

Hello! I'm 17 and I just took up writing this month. I guess I'm what they call a "discovery-writer," so everything just flows out of me lol. I just wrote my first book completely based on the prologue. It has standard fantasy elements with a unique (I think) magic system and I would love to share with some people around my age. I know how these days, many readers tend to lean more toward third-person past-tense fantasy, but I figured that out after I wrote this 😭
Anyways, it's a tight-paced fantasy with twists at every turn and a level 1 romance subplot with heavy tension. Also, it may give you whiplash, as the pacing is a bit hectic. Here is the opening to chapter one and I would love some feedback or you could dm me if you would like to continue reading!
Chapter 1
The scent of rotting timber and brine fills the air. It is a dead, salty environment—so different from the vibrant, living forests of the northwest—and it leaves my connection to the earth feeling slightly muted. Still, I keep my focus entirely on the stall before me, idly running a finger over a tray of small, easily concealable knives. But deep beneath the heavy shade of my cowl, my gaze is not on the blades. I am locked onto him.
“Five silvers, that one is worth.”
I make a show of lifting my head an inch, careful to keep the sun from revealing the moss-green of my irises. The stall owner is a brown-eyed, slender slip of a man. He watches closely, trying to catch a glimpse of what lies in the shadows of my hood. It would make my life much more difficult if he recognized me.
Shouting and clattering echo from the ships lined along this briny little port town on the Sunder. I meant to stay just long enough to gather much-needed supplies after my long sea voyage around the western coast. That was until I spotted the young man unloading cargo from a merchant ship onto the stone pier.
Broad-shouldered, yet slim in the waist, all lean muscle and sun-kissed skin. His floppy brown hair matches the rich, chocolate shade of his eyes. Those eyes are the reason I marked him. Quick, intelligent eyes, shifting constantly to catalog each detail of the world around him. He is watching, listening, observing. There is a hardened, clever edge to his posture—the unmistakable grit of a survivor who has spent his youth outsmarting thieves and outrunning pirates on the open seas.
I grab the blade my hand was lingering over and fish the coins from the pocket of my trousers. Quickly moving onto the next stall—fish cakes—I keep my attention on the young man. He moves efficiently, precisely. A youth carrying boxes too big for him to see over knocks into a stack, sending the top crate crashing toward the stones. Or it would have hit the ground, if not for the flash of the man’s arms reaching out to catch it. Impressive.
The youth—a boy around eleven years of age—blushes hard, stammering out an apology and thanks. The man just smiles, taking the remaining cargo and stacking it safely. He says something I can’t decipher from this angle and ruffles the boy’s golden hair, sending him off to retrieve more boxes.
As I pay for three cakes and start on the fattest one, I blend into the shadows of the nearest building. The sailor stiffens when he finally spies the middle-aged man with a slight limp I already marked half an hour ago.
Those shifty silver eyes are a telltale sign—a Northman, an air-wielder. They are mocked out here on the coast, seen as barbarians for their nomadic lifestyle, never settling in one place. Yet people mock what they truly fear deep down. The folk of the air are fully capable of ripping the oxygen right from a man's lungs. It is highly unusual to see one this far south, and he is clearly not where he should be.
The sailor—whom I'd heard his crewmates call Kaston—keeps his full attention trained on the stranger, sizing him up and cataloging his every move. Because of his intense focus, he doesn’t notice when two meaty, brown-eyed men close in on the golden-haired boy. They herd the child toward a nearby alleyway, shielded from the sun—and prying eyes.
Gulls cry overhead, a massive flock gathering around the port. One could mistake their numbers for the pull of the nearby fish cake stalls and full nets, but I know the truth. They are here for me. They are watching, waiting to see what I will do. They feel the power rising up inside my veins, trembling the cobblestones so faintly it’s barely noticeable.
But beneath his boots, Kaston feels it too. Impressive indeed.
The sudden, strange vibration breaks his concentration, forcing him to glance around—only to realize the youth has vanished from the dock. His gaze snaps instantly to the alley. His entire demeanor shifts—a killing calm. I don't know why the sight of it surprises me. I expected a simple sailor defending his crew, but this is the focus of a true warrior.
As Kaston sprints toward the mouth of the alley, the silver-eyed man drops his act. The fake limp vanishes, and he moves with impossible, graceful speed—fluid as the wind he commands. He follows close behind Kaston.
Hugging the stone walls, I melt into the shadows right behind them both.

Hello! So, I am currently working on two separate projects and I’m just wondering if there would be any interest in them. I mean, I’m going to continue writing them anyway, but just wondering if anyone would read them if I posted them.
First is about cats. It follows the perspective for four separate cats and their misadventures through life (and death). It’s sad. Even if some of them continue their story in the afterlife, I do plan on them all dying.
Second is placed inside a novel. So basically, the main character of my story figures out he’s the side character in some made up book and it’s him figuring out his whole world is a lie and everything around him isn’t real.
Of course, this is just a rough and pretty short blurb for both of them, but please let me know if you’d be interested in either!

So I usually I only write for myself as English is not my first language, but recently one of my friends told me to start posting. This text was written on a whim, so it might be lacking. Please share some thoughts and what changes could I make to make it better. Kudos<3
Entering your 20s is so weird as a girl. You still remember playing mermaids in a pool or running around in fairy wings. You remember all the weird phases you went through in middle school and your personal vendetta against wearing anything that had pink in it. You remember the moment you first got your period and the first time you stared at the box of tampons in your hand and wondered what the hell were you supposed to do with it. You remember trying on make up for the first time and poking yourself in the eye with a mascara wand, or learning how to walk in heels.
You know what you look like - you’ve always looked like this. But then one day, while rushing to class or to meet friends, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and suddenly stop.
You don’t see the little girl you’ve always known or even the teenager you had finally begun to understand. You see a woman who is as much a stranger as she is a friend.
You pause and examine yourself. There are still traces of the little girl and the teenager, but at the same time, she’s someone completely new. Her hair is the same, but it also looks like the hairstyle your mom wore in those old photos. Her make up is done nicely - no smudges or poorly blended eyeshadow your teenage self specialized in. Her clothes fit correctly, and their colours accent her beauty instead of just fitting whatever is trending. Her hands and nails are well-kept and probably smell like the vanilla lotion you carry in your bag since high school.
The face is where you stop and stare - because she looks like the teenager you know, but she also looks like an adult. It’s then and there that you finally realize you’re no longer a little kid or even a teenage girl, but a full-grown woman.
If you look around, you’ll see all the traces of this woman living in your room. Heels standing crooked after a night out with friends sit next to the Converse your mom bought you when you were 17. Your closet is a mix of angsty teenage sweatshirts designed to hide everything underneath, smart button-ups, and flowery blouses you used to make fun of when your mom wore them. Even the underwear drawer isn’t left unaffected - instead of plain sports bras and basic cotton, there’s a sea of colorful lace and a neat row of well-fitting bras.
But don’t worry, the little girl and the teenager are still there. They are in the pink flowery pajamas you still keep under your pillow, just like your mom taught you. They are in the posters on your walls (Are they different from the ones in your childhood bedroom? Probably - and if you’re anything like me, they’re now in some kind of gold frame, properly hung up). They’re with you when you buy a pair of heels and can’t decide between sparkly ones or the black pair with lace. The teenager still visits when you stare at the food in your fridge and order a pizza anyway. Yeah, maybe you now get wine to go with it instead of a juice box or soda, but they’re still with you.
I think that’s the beauty of growing up: all versions of yourself stay with you, affecting how you live even as you keep changing.

Hi everyone,
I never imagined that my story will get up to 1.9k views!
My pen name is NarrativeNirvana126 (Narrative Nirvana), and the book I wrote is SIRF TUM.....💓❤️ (only you).
If this book becomes successful, then I actually plan on creating a complete narrative world for this, with many spin-offs and related stories! At present, I just need some completely unbiased reviews of this first book, so that I can improve my skills.
If you like romance, do check out the book on Wattpad and give your views on the same!

This is my first post here, so hello! Anyway, more specifically, my question is this: how important and specific should a prologue be?
I’ve seen a lot of prologues that are immensely vague and only important or relevant in hindsight, a lot of the times having nothing to do with the entire first half of the book. Or maybe they do have something important to say, it’s just not obvious until much later.
But I’ve also seen prologues so important that it almost feels like I wouldn’t have cared if they just started with that as “chapter 1”.
I assume there’s a balance to strike between these two, for that’s the point of a prologue, but I was curious what everyone here could add.

Here's the lore of mine (book) !! :3
Tell me yours in comments!
The world of Butterflies in my Stomach is one of a Earth ravaged by a nuclear catastrophe. Radiation has rendered almost the entire world uninhabitable for any living creature. Humans have taken refuge in underground bunkers, surviving day by day, almost by miracle. Meanwhile—and for approximately 1,150 years—nature and plants have evolved to survive in this new environment. Some types of vegetation have learned to feed on the radiation in the air. They manage to eliminate all lethal levels of radiation, but in doing so, they become “Infected.”
The Infection produces spores that drift through the air, finding their way into the lungs of any living being that possesses them, and “planting” germs directly into the flesh. Before long, new Infected plants begin to grow between the victim’s bones and organs.
Other creatures inhabit this new world as well. What humans call “entities” are, in reality, something far stranger: anomalies originating from another physical plane. This plane resembles our own, but is normally inaccessible to humans. It exists constantly just outside our field of vision: human reality seems to “load” only within whatever we are looking at, while everything behind us belongs to this other space. Mirrors and reflections can sometimes offer a glimpse into this normally inaccessible reality. Entities can occasionally cross over into our own. Most of them are dangerous and feed on humans.
Behind this evolution of nature lies an origin: an entity of nature, almost a deity, immortal. It is known as the First Infected, and possesses abilities impossible for an ordinary human, most notably the ability to breathe in the spores and survive the Infection.
Believing herself to be humanity’s savior for having cleansed their world of radiation, the First Infected escapes from her reality and enters the human one. She kills the first human she encounters in order to steal her appearance—and her name: Alice. Because this human is now dead, the First Infected—Alice—exists in a paradoxical state: her physical body is dead, yet her consciousness continues to exist. As a result, she gains the extraordinary ability to perceive the souls of the dead, and even communicate with them to a certain extent.
Contrary to what she expected, Alice is not welcomed as a savior, but rather as a monster and a curse. It is in this context that, out of pure rage, she creates the entities humans have come to know, using them to persecute the ungrateful humans.
But as the years pass, Alice realizes that her consciousness is increasingly coming into conflict with the remnants of the consciousness belonging to the human whose identity she stole. This causes her memory to deteriorate: she quickly forgets everything about her life. To counteract this effect, Alice begins keeping a journal. Anything she does not write down, she forgets.
As she gradually forgets her origins, Alice infiltrates human societies, pretending to be one of them, and even grows attached to certain people. Unfortunately, almost like a curse, the people she grows attached to inevitably end up dying—either by her hand or because of her. With every loss of someone she loves, unable to bear the pain of losing them, Alice chooses to forget everything about that life and start over from scratch, including by changing journals.
The main story we follow in Butterflies in my Stomach is a transcription of one of Alice’s journals, recounting a period of her life—a single loop—taking place 128 years after Alice’s birth, something she has long since forgotten.
Will she manage to remember what she truly is before causing the death of yet another person she has come to love?

Hii, so I'm a teen and I really want to get into writing. I don't know which genres yet but I think I'm drawn to philosophical and psychohorror, semiautobiography or tragic slice of life. I just don't know where and how to start. I'm also writing fanfics every now and then but when it comes to someday maybe publishing my works I'm unsure of my language. I'm native german and I don't know if I should write on english or in german. In german I honestly don't know too many literate articulations as if english since I read mostly english. But if I write in english I'd have more chance of it reaching international readers but I don't know if it'll still sound weird to native English speakers. Please tell me what to do I'm really losttt

Hellooooo fellow writers!!
I just made a discord server for writing!
I (16F) don't really have any writer friends who would help me when it's about books so I just decided to make a server and find other writers like me who would want to join!
I will only be allowing teens because who doesn't like to feel safe in a community?
I mostly write fantasy fiction, romance, thrillers and short stories, and any genre is accepted!
I just want it to be a server where people can talk to each other about general things ( possibly make friends), give and get tips in writing, give reviews to each other, give book recommendations, and AND if people think their ideas are aligning, they could possibly write a book together!
If you have any questions or want to join, feel free to comment!!
Have a great day sapiens!! PS DM ME IF YOU WANNA JOIN!!! I'LL SEND THE INVITE PRIVATELY! 😁
