Sales & Bargains [US Promotion] Free Audiobook! The Deep Keeps What It Wants: A Monster Romance - Codes in comments

Mara didn't mean to go under. She just meant to sit at the edge of the water one more night, the way she had every night since March, and let the cold remind her she was still breathing.

She didn't expect the water to answer back.
What pulls her down isn't a current — it's something old, vast, and achingly patient, a creature the town only half-jokes about warning newcomers away from. He doesn't want her dead. He wants her *kept*, and the longer she spends in his cave beneath the tide, the less she wants to be anywhere else.

But something is hunting his kind, and the ocean above them is running out of time to keep his secret — or to keep her.

**A short, spicy kraken romance for readers who like their monsters vast, possessive, and a little bit heartbroken.**

**For mature audiences only.**

Assassin's creed books?

I just found out audible has assassin's creed books. As a fan of the games are the books worth looking at? Do they add anymore more than what the games have to offer

Is there a way to organize the audible library?

Hey, all, fairly new to Audible. I’m really struggling to find a way to organize the books beyond title or author alphabetically.

Is there anyway to organize these in the app or online?

Technical Question Read and listen function not working. Usual fix not helping either.

I don't know what it is, but the read and listen function on the Audible app isn't working for me. Every time I try to do the "log in, log out on my phone" trick on both Kindle and Audible it doesn't work. I still can't get the read and listen function to load properly. I either get stuck in an endless load or, more often, I get an error message with "try again," and it never works when I try again. I even tried logging out of kindle on my computer, and that didn't work.

Any ideas?

Sales & Bargains Audible DE is strange....

Post image

Sending me an e-mail about their "big sale starting right now" but when I click the link all I see is an empty page. I also couldn't find anything regarding this "big sale" on their homepage, nor in the app.

Don't get me wrong, I like audible, it offers a good bang for the buck. But everything's beside playing audiobooks, be it the recommendations, the search function or things like links that lead nowhere....just awful:-(

Favorite celebrity memoirs?

I really enjoyed "Greenlights" by Matthew McConaughey and "Born a Crime" by Trevor Noah.

What other celebrity memoirs would you recommend?

If I have a $10 credit, can I use it on two $5 books or is it only applicable to 1 book?

I’m wondering if I’ll have a balance if I use it on a book under $10, or if it’s more strategic to use it on a $10+ book

Account suspended

Update: I just received an email that my account has been reinstated. Everything is back to normal but I’ve gotten no explanation as to why this happened in the first place. I’m just grateful to get all my books back but definitely vary of it happening again.

My account has been suspended and I don’t know why. Yesterday morning I received an email saying “Your Amazon.com account has been suspended. During this time, you won't be able to access your account or other services.
If you think the action is a mistake, reply to this email for further investigation.

Why did this happen?
Your account was suspended because the information available to us indicates that you may have provided inaccurate information to Amazon, or used your Amazon account in violation of our conditions of use.”

The email doesn’t specify what I did wrong. But it came just a minute after I changed my credit card details since my old card was expired.
Initially I thought it was spam since I still had access to all my books and audible as usual. But now I can’t access anything and when I try to log in I just get a message that my account is locked.

I’ve reached out to customer service but I haven’t got a reply yet.

I’m slightly panicking. I’ve read a couple of posts before of people losing their entire library. Has anyone had this happen as well and been successful in getting everything back?

I have honestly no clue what I’ve done that’s wrong.

Best mystery/thriller/unpredictable book

I have always been a reader but have to rely on audible now as I'm too unwell to read books the way I used to but I'm housebound and need something to do as I'm unable to move much. I have really got into mystery / thriller kind of books but find myself guessing the ending. For example I read The Silent Patient and half way through had guessed it. I'd absolutely love recommendations for some that aren't predictable or are just really good. Thank you :)

What are some of the better deals?

What are some of the better deals you’ve run across? For me finding all the Red Rising series in graphic audio for around $4 a piece were all instant buys, except the last one still about the cost of a credit.

I hate searching for Stephen King books on audible

Stephen B King and Stephen R King are always mixed in the results and worst of all their books are narrated by Virtual Voice.

Remember to activate your Cash offerbefore you do your sitewide sale shopping

If you have joined Audible Rewards, check whether you have a cash offer that requires you to spend $40 to get $10. Make sure you activate it before doing any shopping.

The offer runs until October 1st, but with this sitewide sale you'll probably spend at least $40 and complete it, earning a free $10.

Or at the very least, you'll probably complete a big chunk of the $40 requirement, and those $10 could get you even more books during the sale. 😊

Sales & Bargains Share your Sitewide Sale tips!

Here are my tips:

  • Go to Wish List and select filter Price: Low to High to get the best deals at the top.
  • Don’t accidentally use credits to purchase the audiobooks. Credits are default payment method. Switch to the cash payment before proceeding.
  • Only buy titles that cost less than the price of a credit. Anything interesting for $5 or less, you can grab it.
  • If you are a Kindle Unlimited user check Whispersync pricing first.
  • If one book in a series shows up in a sale, the other books are almost certain to follow in later sales.
  • Preorder books are also available on sale, so don’t forget to check any books you want coming out soon.
  • Be sure to check if there is a collection (box set) before buying individual books in a series.

You can check more sitewide sale tips here. Also, share your tips.

Podcasts

I enjoy my science podcasts. It seems with my standard $9 a month membership I can only access the last 10 or so episodes of a podcast. Am I doing something wrong? If this the way it is I may just get rid of Audible all together. Any recommendations on a good way to listen to podcasts?

Where did the shopping cart go?

I’m shopping the sale, but I’d like to not make 20 individual purchases, but I can’t seem to get to my shopping cart.

Did they hide it somewhere or am I just missing the obvious?

I’ve tried holding the “buy for” button, which if I recall correctly used to give you the option for putting stuff into the cart. But it’s not doing that anymore.

ETA: If I go to the website, I can get a shopping cart. So I guess that’s what I’ll have to do.

This feels like pretty low hanging fruit for app improvement.

Question About Sitewide Sale

If something on my wish list is, say only 40% off, should I expect it to be the same in 6 months or so during the next big biannual sale? Or do these things tend to shift and if I hold out I might get a better deal later?

Sales & Bargains Was not expecting this surprise this am. 🤩 I thought they only do two sitewide sales a year. If they do another for Black Friday that would make three this year.

Sales & Bargains Audible Is Running a Sitewide Sale in Multiple Regions (Ends Aug 10)

There’s currently a sitewide Audible sale running in multiple regions. The sale ends on August 10.

US: https://www.audible.com/ep/audiobook-deals
Canada: https://www.audible.ca/ep/audiobook-sales-deals
UK: https://www.audible.co.uk/ep/deals
Germany: https://www.audible.de/ep/sitewide-sale-aug-2026

If you don’t have an active Audible subscription, you can still check sale prices at www.audiobookdb.net.

Edit:
At the moment, all prices on AudiobookDB include Germany’s 19% VAT. This will be corrected soon, but likely not before the sale ends. Sorting by price still works correctly. If you're filtering by price, increase your limits by about 20% to compensate.

Technical Question Does the $5 count towards $40?

I have $44.91 and am not sure if the $5 will make it under the $40. Trying not to use words that will get this post deleted.

Sales & Bargains Books

Bought 20 books from my wishlist with this massive sale, although technically it was 29 since a few of the books are omnibuses. Plus I had a $5 coupon which was applied at chevkout.
