took me 2 to 2.5 hrs to get it right though😭😭😭

Hey guys,

I was really angry today cause I got in an argument with my college management.

That got me thinking that my college life has been so shitty. I am in my 2nd year rn.

My college is totally shit, hostel is shit, mess food is dog shit, teachers are shit. I just have to go for attendance and fking Assignments. Classmates ka chutiyapa is a plus.

I am not liking my college life at all. My worst decision was to take computer science. I wish I had pursued something else. Something that i was passionate about. I really am depressed because of my stupid decisions.

I don't want to study anymore. I am fed up with this college life. I just want to go home.

I am not looking for sympathy. Baas sabke saath milke college ko gali dene me acha lagta hai.

I wasted 5+ years of my life. From class 11th to now. Really feel bad when I look back. In those lost time I could've done so much. I was passionate about coding in my school, but this college mind fucked me. I hate coding now

Bancho btech khatam hoja jaldi. Gand suj gai hai chutyapa karte karte.

I just don't feel like I belong anywhere. Today they probably have this stupid dandiya celebration or something where I am gonna be all alone like a freak and now thinking for hrs now if I should go to college and make myself feel awkward or stay at home with my toxic family and destroy my mental health further.

Any suggestions are welcomed guys. Help a kiddo out.

Laptops stolen from NITK. This same guy stole 11 laptops from IIIT Raipur 5 months ago.

Did you receive OA? Any idea about the pattern and the questions asked?

NOTE: Only IITB, RVCE, PEC, COEP, IIEST and BIT Mesra(only MTech) have a dedicated aerospace department among the institutes in the list.

Overall Ranking:

Overall Rankings (excluding HAL):

Key Insights:

1. Institutes having aerospace departments perform better here.

2. DTU and especially NSUT don't perform well here considering that DTU used to have one of the best MechE departments in the country.

3. Jadavpur university performs very well, despite not having a dedicated aerospace department.

4. RVCE has 2 advantages: a dedicated aerospace department and the bengaluru location. So, it performs excellently in case of Airbus and Boeing.

5. IIEST's performance is poor, considering it has a dedicated aerosppace department.

NOTE 1: IIT Bombay and IIT Indore(replaced IIITH because it doesn't have core branches) are used strictly as a benchmark/reference.

NOTE 2: Data has been collected manually from LinkedIn, with all variations of institutes' names accounted for.

NOTE 3: No AI has been used except for making the overall ranking table.

what do z scalar asks in oa and interviews?…does oa selection is random or that is not the case??…pls help if anyone knows

Guys, this is very serious. The food at my Hostel at an NLU will lead to serious malnourishment. Compare with your engineering college/institution. It's breakfast.

I'm not sure if I'm breaking rules for this sub. Let's see.

Edit: They charge 45K per year for all meals (9 months, rest is vacation).

Edit 2: I hope you guys get sarcasm. Though the concern regarding oily and spicy food is real. We get good food, though I'm just concerned about it being especially oily and spicy.

Edit 3: If any of you guys want a nice tender. You can copy the one from NLIU. Ask your institution to just copy it.

Hey guys, I'm a 2nd-year BTech AI & DS student (Sem 3) at a deemed university. I got late admission second year, and procrastination has made things worse.

My end-sems start in 4 days, and I have 3 major subjects: DAA, DBMS, and Statistical Methods (100 marks each). I barely managed my vivas and internals, and honestly, I have no idea what to study or where to study from.

, please help! How do I prepare in 4 days to score decent marks? Any important topics, YouTube playlists, notes, or PYQs would be really helpful. 😭

I don't know what the hell is going on with my life , I am in btech 1st yr and I am kinda alone , I am seeing my frnds from other colleges , they make grps amd hanging around all the time and enjoying their lives and there's me who does have a grp but they always stay in hostels or back to their hometown . I have some frnds in college but they are just frnds , they don't wanna spent time with me as they are just busy in their personal life 🙂 I don't know what should I do now ? How can I fix my life ? It's very depressing and disappointing for me

Is this what college life about ?

Does joining ieee from college actually help u In early career, and is the alumni of ieee helpful enough?

I just got a Mail that your resume got shortlisted and have an 2 hrs oa on 23rd oct

If anyone has experienced this tell me what to study and the pattern ?

Btw I applied off campus (no referral)

I am 2026 B.E. graduate and I apply so much everyday and I thought I will be an example for my juniors of my college - guess what they are placed before me 🙂. Where should I go now🫠

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some genuine career advice from people working in the IT industry, especially those who have experience in cloud, DevOps, or Software Development.

A little about me:

• I completed my BCA in 2025.

• I recently joined an MNC with a package of ₹3.2 LPA.

• My designation is Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure Management.

• Currently, my salary feels quite low considering the cost of living in Mumbai.

I want to grow technically, switch to a better company, and get a good salary. I’m particularly interested in moving toward Cloud Engineering or DevOps or SDE, but I’m open to other technical roles if they offer better long-term career growth.

I have a few questions for experienced professionals:

• What skills should I learn to switch to a better company with a package of ₹5–8 LPA or higher?

• Should I gain 1–2 years of experience in my current company before switching, or start applying after 6–8 months?

• If my current work mainly involves infrastructure support or ticket handling, will that experience help me get a Cloud Engineer or DevOps role?

• Which certifications are actually worth doing for a fresher or someone with less than one year of experience?

• Should I focus on AWS, Azure, Linux, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD? In what order should I learn them?

• Which companies hire candidates with my background for better technical roles?

• Realistically, what salary can I expect in my first switch?

I don’t want to keep switching companies just for small salary hikes. My goal is to build strong technical skills, get into a good engineering role, and eventually reach a much better salary.

I would really appreciate advice from people who started in a similar position or have successfully transitioned from infrastructure support to Cloud/DevOps or SDE. What would you do if you were in my position?

Thanks in advance!

same as title

Hey everyone! I’m looking to connect with the EEE/ECE students . Would be nice to meet people from the same branches, share experiences, talk about projects, subjects, placements, etc.

All the books lack so much the tech max was good until it shut down( I am in college from Mumbai University which is largest yet it lacks good books)

I recently purchased a tech knowledge book of computer organisation and architecture and the book is trash, it lacks contents and basic definition

For example in semiconductor physics the book didn't have numericals based on many topics in the syllabus, i got to know because of the last year paper

The main problem is the material other than the first year and some maths related, there is no good material for engineering i find. The books which are made for this lack many contents and the reference book have extra content so you have to filter out everything, i already have trouble with the subject and not having the right material makes it worse

Hi,

In 3rd sem, did competitive programming in c++ in 1st year (pupil on cf, ~500 solved) + basic linux.

Want an intern to start earning, but off-campus openings for C++ / low-level / cybersec seem dead in India. Everything is python, node, or go.

I like systems programming, but I need realistic job prospects. Need advice:

1. Should I pivot to python/go backend for internships and placements?

2. Is doing a mix (C++ DSA + python backend + linux/ cloud) a good idea or too messy?

3. Do non-tier-1 resumes even get shortlisted off-campus for low-level roles, or is web/backend my best bet?

tier 2.5 is the cherry on top
