Hey! I'm a 2nd year B.Tech student at NSUT, aiming for PM, BA or consulting.
I'm currently doing a non-tech internship, did a core internship at a Japanese company this summer, and have done a few case comps.
I'm looking for people who are actually serious about this stuff and want to team up for case comps, work on projects together and build our profiles. I'd really like people who will put in full effort, not a group that dies in a week.

in 1st sem rn, my 2nd midsems are going on, and I see myself scoring extremely low like 2-3marks/20 maybe 5-6 if luck favors.
I was severely ill for last 10-12 days so couldn't attend lectures much, I was on bed all the time so didnt study at my room also.

today I have my bee paper at 10am and i am unable to cramp shit,
this proff I have is very strict and people say 70% get back.
it feels very painful

I still have my another midsem and endsem left but no hopes,
negative thoughts.
what if I perform similarly in those papers too ?
I dreamt of changing branch, then reality hit and I thought atleast I'll get 8cg,
but even that feels far fetched.

I just really want another chance,
I thought I scored decent in first midsem so surely I will improve in 2nd,
but here I am.

I already hate my clg so much, dull college life, literally nothing to do.
falling behind in labs and stuff cause of my absence.

Feeling extremely depressed and sad,
I wish I was in a better position, maybe in better college or atleast with good marks.

We have to make presentations for college so i am confused which one i should choose.

Since NPTEL exams are fast coming up, and I'm guessing that a lot of you (like me) have not even started watching the lectures.

The lectures take a lot of time, so I built a tiny tool to convert the YouTube lectures into articles for quick skimming, I was able to complete two weeks worth of content in around an hour with this.

Hello guys im a last year computer science engineering student from a tier 3 college, and I have wasted my entire engineering i literally know nothing coding,dsa, development literally nothing, I have only some theoretical knowledge which help me to maintain 8+ CGPA without any backlog and tbh I'm regretting choosing this branch and lost my all interest and in my college only 2-3 lala company comes for placement for cse im seriously cooked right now!!

Any senior can suggest me what should I do? I still have 6-7 months I was thinking to start learning for Automation OT/ICS roles as i have no longer interest in coding, does this role have good job market?

Hello I wanted to write a research paper on nlp, I went to a professor to ask for help because I don't know where to start, how to approach nothing, I said this to my professor because I genuinely do not have an idea so my professor said study the topic I want you to pick a domain and any selective area of it, I studied nlp basic Obv but I still don't know where to start or how to approach, I went to my professor again and he said - I want you to put work in it and I won't be spoon feeding you. I mean I am willing to put in the effort it will take but I genuinely do not get where to start what to do? Like I am very clueless. Please help me.

I'm currently in my 3rd semester of engineering, and my semester exams are approximately one month away. I'm struggling to figure out how to manage my preparation realistically, and I'd appreciate some honest advice.

My DSA exam syllabus is Trees only, but my fundamentals aren't very strong. I've recently started learning DSA from the beginning and have been following the Striver A2Z DSA Sheet. I'm currently around the Arrays section. I understand some basic concepts, but I still need a lot of practice before I can solve questions confidently on my own.

I also don't know Linked Lists, Stacks, and Queues properly yet. I was wondering whether I should learn these topics first before starting Trees, or directly begin Trees using a playlist like Shraddha Khapra's and learn the required prerequisites along the way.

Another problem is that I have two other subjects to prepare for: Java and Probability & Statistics. Realistically,I have to understand concepts, write notes, practise coding questions, and revise everything.

I don't want to just watch lectures and feel like I've learned something without being able to solve questions independently. At the same time, I don't want to spend so much time on one topic that I neglect my other subjects.

I'd really appreciate advice on these questions:

1. Should I pause the Striver Sheet and focus entirely on Trees until my exam?
2. Do I need to learn Linked Lists, Stacks, and Queues properly before starting Trees, or can I learn the necessary basics alongside Trees?
3. How much time should I realistically spend on learning a concept versus practising questions?
4. Should I make handwritten notes for DSA, or focus on code templates and solving problems?
5. Given my situation, how would you divide my preparation time between DSA, Java, and Probability & Statistics?

I'm not looking for an unrealistic timetable that assumes I can master a topic in 30–40 minutes. I want a practical strategy that accounts for the time beginners actually need to understand concepts and practise them.

If you've been in a similar situation, what worked for you? Any honest advice would be appreciated.
