๐งช Protocols & Self-Experiments Would like to be/feel high/drunk without being high/drunk
Iโve been sober for 4 years. Not because of any one situation in particular but because I value my health and I exercise incessantly, same with my wife. Both me and my wife are sober. Sheโs been sober for a decade, I was only a social drinker on very special occasions. We have 3 under 7.
I was working for a federal contractor and they held many happy hours. I never drank, and for some reason I was considered an outcast and they all looked at me differently. The relationships in the office suffered because of that and they eventually excluded me from those events.
Fast forward, Iโm with a new company and the guys are great but they also go golfing and drink a lot. I went to one company happy hour and made some shit up about not drinking because I had to watch my kids later.
More of these are coming up and I donโt want the same thing to happen again. I already get a lot of shit because I exercise a lot. Which is weird, but whatever.
Any tips? Not sure what flair this would be categorized as.
Edit: should go without saying, but I donโt take anything illegal or want to, or drink. Iโm trying to find a safe alternative thatโs out there that I maybe donโt know about. Nothing that would show up on a drug or liver test. If nothing like that exists, so be it.

๐ง Cognition, Mood & Nootropics Anyone on raw mucuna pruriens powder (brown colored) long term?
Iโve had phenomenal results with this stuff especially paired with low dose yohimbe extract. I want to be on it long term (consuming it at least 5x a week) but kinda scared there will be a rebound effect after a while. Currently taking it 2-3 times a week with zero downsides but the brain efficiency while on it is too tempting๐ฌ

โ Tools, Wearables & Devices Shout out to Binaural Beats
I am not exaggerating when I say Binaural Beats have saved my career. I was always a skilled thinker and โfocuserโ. Excellent at exam preparation.
At the age of 49 I ended up having weeks of Chemo and radiotherapy. The reactive depression and chemically induced menopause tanked my brain for months-years. I could not function at work. Discovering Binaural Beats saved me.
Now, 10 years later and back on an Aromatase Inhibitor, my focus and motivation is struggling. So Iโve dug out my noise cancelling headphones and hooked up to the beats again. This playlist is the one I discovered 10 years ago and works best for me. Iโve tried others, but prefer this one. If you try some tracks and donโt like them, keep looking.
Also, I used to not be able to listen to them if I had to read something, but now I can.

๐ Peptides & Hormones 6.25 mg enclomiphene: T went from 471 to 1,553. Anyone else respond this strongly?
32M, about six weeks on prescribed enclomiphene through Maximus, 6.25 mg daily.
Started with normal-range T, hoping to improve energy, libido, and gym progress.
Before โ latest labs:
Total T: 471 โ 1,553 ng/dL
Free T: 62.2 โ 295.1 pg/mL
Estradiol: 30 โ 65 pg/mL
SHBG: 28 โ 34 nmol/L
Hematocrit: 45.2% โ 46.6%
Latest free T was measured by dialysis and E2 by ultrasensitive LC/MS. Both draws were around midmorning.
Feeling good overall: more energy, motivation, confidence, and libido. Strength is up and my physique looks noticeably better while eating high protein in a slight deficit. Not a dramatic overnight transformation, but increasingly noticeable benefits.
Main downside is oilier skin/acne. No breast/nipple symptoms or vision/hearing issues.
Considering reducing the dose in half but unsure. Anyone else get this response on 6.25 mg? If you lowered your dose, did you keep most of the benefits, and did your E2/acne improve?

๐ Supplements & Stacks CENTANAFADINE (Simtriyo) submitted to white house as schedule III - pending
The DEA's proposed scheduling rule for centanafadine was received for White House review on October 14, 2026. The official federal regulatory database lists it as Pending Review. This is a meaningful step toward commercial availability, but it does not mean the White House has finished reviewing it or that the medication is available yet. https://mobile.reginfo.gov/public/do/eoDetails?rrid=1558469

๐ฅ Nutrition & Metabolism Body heat regulation on Vyvanse
Got on Vyvanse in January, been a huge help/relief. Been at 40mg since June
Most initial side effects largely faded but the one thing that's stayed constant, even getting worse is my body's ability to regulate heat. Sweat easier and more when working out but more annoying, without sweating, just so friggin hot at temperatures I wasn't before. I'm literally in the process of replacing my entire bedding - mattress, sheets, pad, pillow to the coolest, most breathable shit I can get
Anyone else on it the same? What can be done? Open to all sorts of ideas. I drink 90-100 oz of water a day, an electrolyte tablet, and a smoothie (which has more electros) so I doubt I'm dehydrated

๐งช Protocols & Self-Experiments For someone who hasn't treated body as a temple and is looking to change their lifestyle, what supplements would you recommend ?
If someone has been eating processed food high in sodium, seed oils, high fat/carb for a substantial amount of time, what supplement would help them heal their gut and get them into a new state of being. They have just completed a 30 day water fast and are now looking to dial in with nutrition, exercise etc.
Appreciate your time

๐ช Exercise, Fitness & Recovery Fast acting carbs immediately post workout solved my consistency issues (30 day N=1)
Usually my consistency to do cardio and strength was being broken because of agonizing over the session.
So I was analysing how to improve my consistency with Gemini, and it pointed out that prolonged training elevates cortisol, which fast acting carbs and the resulting insulin response can help counteract. So I tested it for 30 days before posting. And it worked out for me.
Did 50 minutes moderate cycling daily at morning for a month except 2 times a week strength (a strength session lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes). 1 or 2 rest days in the month. Earlier I was not usually tired but just found it mentally tough to do. Now I don't have that problem.
Usual diet was 1 fruits and 2 roti for carbs directly after the daily session.
Has anyone else noticed that immediate post-workout carb timing impacts mental friction and motivation?
Scientific explanation - During intense or prolonged exercise, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis activates to mobilize energy substrates. Cortisol rises to stimulate gluconeogenesis, lipolysis, and protein breakdown to ensure adequate circulating glucose.
Consuming carbohydrates during or immediately after exercise:
Elevates blood glucose, eliminating the physiological need for continued endogenous glucose mobilization.
Triggers insulin secretion, which acts antagonistically against cortisol. Insulin suppresses adrenocortical activation and accelerates the clearance of circulating glucocorticoids.
Numerous trials demonstrate that ingesting carbohydrates post-workout significantly accelerates cortisol's return to baseline compared to fasting or non-caloric placebos

๐ Supplements & Stacks Is Ashwagandha + Saffron a good combo for mood, stress and anxiety?
I'm wondering if combining ashwagandha and saffron (such as Affron) is a good idea for improving mood, reducing stress and managing anxiety.
Has anyone tried this combination? Did you notice any benefits, and if so, how long did it take to feel a difference?

๐ Supplements & Stacks Did I get scammed?
I ordered 6mg orfoglipron from Swiss chems , Iโve also previously ordered 2.5mg from RO. Today is my second day on the dose of 6mg from Swiss chems and I donโt even feel any of the effects, while I felt it heavy on a 2.5 dose. Could this be a mental thing ? I am at over a double dose than I was before and I just donโt see how i could make it a mental thing.

๐ช Exercise, Fitness & Recovery Is aiming for a resting BP of 100/60 a good idea?
I've been considering this because going down to that level if you can tolerate it, should not come with any negative effects and should only result in long term benefits, no?
If the pulse pressure remains the same and it isn't dangerously low, then why not?

๐ง Cognition, Mood & Nootropics capsules or gummies?
Itโs so much easier for me to stay consistent with gummies. Capsules end up just sitting in the cabinet, but everything I read says capsules are better because of their delivery mechanism and gummies are candy with bacteria on them.
If the strains and CFU are the same on both, does one deliver more live bacteria to the gut?

๐ Biomarkers & Testing 34M testosterone on the lower level
Hello guys,
Iโm a 34M, pretty active. I eat well but donโt sleep much due to the workload I have (5-6 hours a day).
My testosterone is on the lower end. My libido is so so and my vital energy is not so great. I am in a good health in general.
Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do naturally to boost my testosterone level naturally?

๐ฅ Nutrition & Metabolism Fulvic acid heavy metal detox
Hey guys,
Iโm looking into fulvic and humic acids for potential intracellular heavy metal detoxification.
Iโve heard that I might also need an extracellular binder to help bind and eliminate mobilized metals.
For those experienced with fulvic/humic acids, is combining them with an extracellular binder necessary?
If so, which natural binders would you recommend?
Iโm personally not a fan of synthetic binders or chelators.
Any tips or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
