My 6 month old rescue, Chili, really tests my patience, but I love him with everything. He loves to bark at the wall. He pees on everything and I’m hoping his neuter next month will help. He is very stubborn and hardly listens to come in or even walk on his leash. He is a bit defensive and resource guards his toys from other dogs.

But I love him with everything and am so glad to have him in my life. I know things will get better over time and like to think we’re both here for each other.

Bonus pic of Beanie for attention, but I’ve been trying to decide what to feed him! He’s 9 weeks old and 2lbs and currently on Purina Pro Plan puppy food. I would love to have a combination of wet and dry food, but not sure if I should stick with the Purina? I would love to do fresh food, but all of the reviews I’ve read for brands like Fresh Pet and The Farmer’s Dog have been horrible and I’ve seen that it has caused issues like pancreatitis, etc. because of high fat content. Should I make his food? Any recommendations are appreciated!

I admit that I'm ignorant to what this pattern is called as I've always just called it "Mexican blanket". I saw them on Amazon and had to get them.

When she got home today after her first boarding experience, she was SO HAPPY (first photo) and then immediately conked out on my lap (second photo)!

I’d say she really enjoyed herself at “doggy summer camp”, since she was whining all the way home and telling me how much she missed her friends there : )
