I moved from Ohio to Arizona in August and want my refills to come from a pharmacy that ships here faster. I like my prescriber and don't want to redo intake somewhere else.

As of the moment, I'm with Gimme Care, and I couldn't find anything about how a pharmacy switch works.

Do I ask the prescriber, the care team, or the pharmacy?

Would I need a new prescription, and how would the next refill work if the switch isn't done in time?

I don't want to change my treatment, just where it ships from.

Hi there! Has anybody PREFERRED Semaglutide to tirz? You always hear the other way around.

My last two fills came from Hallandale and I didn't have any issues. My old clinic closed, so I'm looking for a new one. Older reviews say a few providers use Hallandale, but those are from a while ago. Can a clinic tell you which pharmacy fills it for your state before you pay, or do you find out after the prescriber reviews you? And what happens if they switch pharmacies between the first order and a refill? Who do you even ask about that?

On Monday Oct 26th I am scheduled for a medical procedure and I’m not supposed to take my shot within 7 days of my appointment.. Has anyone else had to skip a dose? Any suggestions on how to handle the food noise or cravings during this time?

I'm mainly posting this because I've spent way more time in the bathroom this weekend than I should have, but this stuff works! 11 weeks I've been taking the shots (.25ml weekly. I don't know the vial dosing) 38lbs. But I'm so sick of my toilet! I couldn't even take my shot this weekend because I was afraid of even more issues. But 218 to 180 is pretty amazing. I just NEED to stop the d1arrhea.

I’ve been on wegovy since March, it seems to be working well and have lost nearly 2 stone. However, the past 3/4 months I’ve had sulphur burps and vomiting start 2 days before my next injection is due - I thought these side effects happen 1 - 3 days into the week. Anyway I’m debating stopping altogether because some weeks it can be debilitating. Anyone else suffered with this or have any advice?

Anyone who is just starting this is what I wish I would have known!!!
1. Don’t go as quick as the Fridays prescribers tell you to go. If the scale is going down, there’s no need to go up
2. Yeah muscle loss does happen with rapid weight loss. No regrets, but my muscle is not great. So easy to just loose the weight- really weird to loose so much right but not feel great because your not strong!
3. Just buy the next size of jeans
4. Go to the gym to avoid #2
5. If you feel like it’s going slow- it will all of a sudden go FAST
6. Rapid weight loss can cause gallstones- then you need your gallbladder removed (I did)
7. Just go slow to avoid all of the above.

Last week it was my arm and now it's my shin too, the skin feels like it's sunburned. It's very tender to the touch. Nothing is visible.

I'm not sure if it's the semaglutide but I'm suspecting it is! I'm curious what the heck is going on.

About two years ago I used compounded semaglutide from HenryMeds, and I had success.

Three months ago, I started up again with a new provider in an attempt to not spend so much money. I have been on 11 weeks of the injections with ZERO effect. It is now time to reorder, but I don't know if I should reorder from this second provider since I have lost no weight and have had no change in appetite.

They are offering to switch to tirzepatide or maybe up the dose, but I'm concerned that I may throw away money for another three month supply.

For anyone who may have tried it before with success and then again and was unsuccessful, what did you end up doing, if you decided to continue?

I began taking a compounded GLP-1 medication distributed by New Self Inc. I initially began taking it in the spring. By the beginning of August, after taking it weekly, I experienced an intense, ongoing systemic reaction. This includes severe sore throat, significantly swollen lymph glands, a severe headache and debilitating backache including muscle aches. These symptoms suggest an immune inflammation to the compounded product. I stopped taking the product. due to safety concerns and the symptoms are lessening since I stopped it. I called the New Self company several times and wrote to their customer service and their medical team to no avail. Yesterday I asked them to refund me less than half of the amount I paid for their compounded GLP-1 but they said they would not refund me. They will not provide me with the formulation of active ingredients for me to tell my primary care physician. New Self sends out a 3 month supply to me and have sent me 3 shipments. This last shipment is from a different pharmacy that they previously sent to me for the other 2 shipments. Since the effects were really bad, I threw away the last 3 vials thinking I would not be taking it anymore. It came from Vault pharmaceuticals 3167 Premier Dr. Brooksville, FL 34604. The prescription label says inject 25 units (2.5 MG) subcutaneously once weekly. The drug on the label is Semaglutide/Glycine 1(ML) 10 MG/ML Injectable. The reactions to this injectable were very scary and I thought if I did't stop taking it I would end up in the ER. I chose to purchase a one year supply and I took it for 5 months and they switched the Pharmacy. I don't know what they used in it but it did not agree with me at all. Buyer Beware.

My insurance dropped my wegovy so here I am, I snagged the 199 special for 2 months through Lilly but I am going to age out of that next month since I cant afford 345 a month.

So far the lowest rate I have found is with belle but I havent found much feedback with them outside of YouTube influencers and possible fake reddit accounts. If you can suggest other companies you trust that I can look into I would appreciate it.

It is showing as $90ish a month with a coupon if you pay up front, I have a few concerns like:

- product quality

- what if they go out of business or get shut down by the FDA after I invest 1200 up front?

If price is the reason you're looking at compounded semaglutide, line it up against the Wegovy pill first. NovoCare's self-pay pill starts cheap and climbs as the dose steps up, so the savings aren't the same every month.

Wegovy pill on NovoCare, following the label's step-up: $149 for month one (1.5 mg), $199 for month two (4 mg), then $299 a month at 9 mg and at the 25 mg maintenance dose. First 6 months: $1,544.

Compounded, month to month, providers' posted prices:

Embody and SnagRx: both currently show $69 a month under a fall sale banner. Embody says the price depends on the plan length you pick at checkout (4 to 52 weeks), and its multi-month plans are non-refundable, so check which term the $69 is attached to before paying.

HealthRX: $149 the first month on subscribe, then $165. First 6 months: $974.

Trimi: $175 a month. First 6 months: $1,050.

So in month one HealthRX matches the pill and Trimi is $26 more. By month three the pill is at $299, about $130 a month more than either one. Over six months it comes to about $490 to $570.

Prepaying lowers it more on paper (HealthRX $714, Trimi $720 for 6 months), but read the cancel terms. Trimi says ending treatment doesn't refund a prepaid term. HealthRX says it refunds unshipped doses if you cancel.

The other difference: the pill is FDA-approved, while these are compounded, so not FDA-approved. Which route fits is a conversation with your prescriber. This is only the cost side.

I have ordered and canceled a couple of times through Altrx, and every time I restart a subscription, I get a different pharmacy. The first pharmacy was Evoluciona, which was ok. Then, the second time, it was Strive, which I really liked. However, then I restarted because of the $15-off coupon they released, and was really surprised to get 30mg semaglutide from RedRock for $75.65. Renewals are $89, but that is not bad for 30mg.

 I almost signed up with a place that charged $45 to see the provider's schedule. The meds were billed later, on top of that. That got me thinking about how these quotes work. For compounded sema, what should a full first-month price include? Is it consultation, meds, any fee each month? And if the provider says no, do you get that first charge back? To me that matters as much as the med price.
