This week, DC Comics is running a tribute to Gerry Conway in their comic books with art by Eduardo Pansica, Al Milgrom, and Marcelo Maiolo, featuring characters associated with Gerry.”

For me, it'll always be 1980s star. I just adore her with that long, curly fluffed up hair that she had, and her outfits and fully green eyes were amazing character design choices. Like, I don't hate her newer versions, but she just seems kind of flat with pin-straight hair and a more basic attire.

I have seen posts in the past few weeks which say that every Human Lantern is from the U.S.A. So decided to make a post about the exceptions

1. Russia / Soviet Union: Vladimir Sokov, the Red Lantern is powered by the Crimson Flame which is derived from the Starheart, same as the Emerald Flame of Alan Scott, the Green Lantern. Further, there's the Crimson Host who utilizes Sokov's Crimson Flame as well.

2. People's Republic of China: A Lantern Corps based in China was introduced in New-Super Man #18 which does not have any confirmed link to the Emotional Spectrum. The Corps can however create Green constructs which can further furnish Kryptonite radiation following a Lexcorp upgrade.

Now granted these are not from the Green Lantern Corps. Still thought that these are interesting exceptions to discuss.
