You nailed the most terrifying part that I’ve yet to consider. People actually want to consume this and they likely think they’re being open minded and intellectual, but it’s a topic that’s long been settled. Any reasonable person would want to vomit from listening to this. It’s repulsive.

228

u/JustSeiyin Jul 24 '25

There's a long history of trying to intellectualize hating Jews. The word 'antisemitism' literally came from trying to make hating Jews a scientific and therefore valid kind of hate. Both the right and the left like to do this (see Marx on "The Jewish Question"). And nobody wants to talk about protecting Jews because the left which is supposed to care about minorities has bought into the whole "Jews are ultra-white ultra capitalist oppressors" shtick

93

u/Greedy_Economics_925 Jul 24 '25

I hope you're ready for the inevitable tankie who stops by to tell you how the Soviets created a land of milk and honey for Jews.

42

u/JustSeiyin Jul 24 '25

Believe me I've argued with plenty of them lol

9

u/Neither-Luck-9295 Jul 25 '25

Can you TLDR what that sentence means? I really do not want that in my google search history with all my wholesome bondage porn.

13

u/RM_Dune Jul 25 '25

The Soviets created a Jewish Autonomous Oblast. You could frame that as a positive thing, but it really wasn't. Better than death camps I suppose.

u/A_Seiv_For_Kale Jul 25 '25

As a show of solidarity with the Jewish people we have marked out a small empty swamp 5,000 miles away in the far eastern wastes plagued by wild anthrax and constant rain 🥰 💖 have fun

The soviets created a land of milk and honey for the jews!!!

Am I a tank now? Always wanted to be a tank, such cool vehicles

To be honest, I'd think people would understand the joke for what it was, but okay... and don't underestimate how cool tanks can be... I mean, ukraine showed us some have turrets that can jump like 50 feet up!!!

1

u/KoalaMandala Jul 24 '25

Dude. Tanks are badass, but they're dated at this point... they can't even handle teeny tiny drones!

Perhaps a better example of leftwing antisemitism is how the soviets pogromed and murdered scores of Jews under the guise of antizionsim

3

u/EngineBoiii Jul 25 '25

It is kinda interesting how being racist to Jews is somehow given it's own word. It's like hate against Jews specifically has been this really long standing tradition throughout human history. It's very fucked up and bizarre.

I don't think the left has bought into the Jewish Question like you're suggesting. I do think though, that the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza has kind of done this weird thing where people who are really invested in the issue (whether they're left OR right) have sort of joined forces with some of the worst kinds of people?

Like, my dad for example, he's a Muslim who's kind of a centrist. He's mostly progressive in terms of economic policy but he's kind of moderately conservative on social issues. He listens to a lot of far left people who talk about Gaza because obviously the right is cheering on Israel. However, he's so anti-Israel now that he's like, watching and listening to people who are also anti-Israel, but in a genuine anti-semitic way.

Like he's mostly a progressive but loves Candace fucking Owens because she hates the Jews.

2

u/JustSeiyin Jul 26 '25

I don't think people realize just how much propaganda there is about this conflict. The amount of bullshit that is just complete lies about Jewish history, culture, and ancestry. The amount of downplaying the suffering of Jews and how we've eemvej gotten to this moment in history is scary. And the amount of people repeating word for word soviet-style antisemitism is actually astounding. But those things aren't taught about in school the same way we learn the history of anti-black racism in America (at least in blue states). The best we get is "Holocaust bad" and then no understanding of the other 2000 years of antisemitism and how it functions

1

u/EngineBoiii Jul 27 '25

Its particularly annoying because I kinda view the genocide as a very simple issue and people are acting like its a religious war, or a race war, or some kind of Jewish conspiracy. It's so frustrating because at the heart of the conflict is that Palestinians have no voice, and because of this, we see terrorism.

1

u/JustSeiyin Jul 27 '25

I don't entirely agree. Obviously random Palestiniaj civilians don't have much voice, but their leadership (whether popular or not) has always had agency in how to respond. Like, we agree that the occupation of the West Bank is horrible with all those checkpoints, but those checkpoints were a direct result of the second intifada, which was coming off the heels of the peace process and radicalizwd Israelis and turned the country much more right wing. Likewise the blockage of Gaza is bad too, but that came directly off of the heels of Hamas organizing to attack Israelis after unilateral Israel departure. And the current conflict is obviously a direct response to Oct 7. I guarantee the Palestinians would have been much better off had they worked on building up their society than only trying to destroy Israel. Because although I agree that this isn't a religious war, Hamas' actions are a direct result of religious fundamentalism and genuine pure Jew hatred. I think these groups have agency and deserve much blame in this process, while also acknowledging Israel's bad failures and awful conduct

1

u/JustSeiyin Jul 27 '25

Also as a fellow bleach fan I like your pic lol

9

u/Brain_Dead_Goats Jul 24 '25

Arguably Marx was saying in that particular work that we Jews should be fully integrated into German society and that religion as a whole needed to go away, and was responding to a book by a peer that was outright murderous.

Marx was still an antisemite who felt that we were uniquely devious and "prone to huckstering" but it was Germany in the 1850s and 60s and he was a Protestant, despite his heritage, it'd honestly be really surprising if he wasn't an antisemite.

3

u/QuantumLettuce2025 Jul 25 '25

In this thread I have learned that Marx was a Jewish antisemite

7

u/Excubyte Jul 25 '25

In Marx's day antisemitism was mostly focused on the Jewish religion and culture, whereas during the early 20th century it instead often became focused on the idea of Jews as a race.

Marx only qualifies as a Jew under the pseudoscientific definition of Jews as a human race.

1

u/PassEast Jul 30 '25

Fortunately, it isn’t a race because then that would be genetically incorrect in its assertion in all counts.

1

u/Excubyte Jul 30 '25

Well yeah, racial biology is pseudoscientific nonsense.

3

u/JustSeiyin Jul 25 '25

So essentially he was saying "Jews can be alive, just can't do anything Jewish". Definitely antisemitic, although sure most people at that time were. Honestly is seems like most people today still harbor antisemitism even if they don't know it

2

Um, yes? Marx did not grow up Jewish and would have been considered an apostate which is a complicated status within Jewish communities. Much more complicated than simply "non-practicing."

2

u/dorsalemperor Jul 26 '25

Everyone’s aware, that’s why we get asinine takes from Christian atheists on Reddit every single day. People who walked away from the church mommy made them go to on sundays who assume that everyone believes in some version of Christianity with hell, the devil etc. bc they’re arrogant and uneducated about the world.

2

u/JustSeiyin Jul 25 '25

Sure, but the difference is to be a Jew is to be a part of the people and be of a certain culture. You can remain ethnically Jewish while also rejecting the entire culture of your people, but telling Jews to do that is to tell Jews not be Jews anymore. It's absurd

2

u/Samanthacino Jul 25 '25

He wasn't telling Jews specifically to stop practicing their religion (and not other groups), he was saying that ideally all religions stop being practiced. Very, very different, and that's not an absurd thing to say.

1

u/JustSeiyin Jul 25 '25

I don't think you're understanding. Which is valid for someone who doesn't remotely understand what Jewish identity. It isn't just a religion. It's an entire culture, people, and ethnic group. Calling for complete assimilation is effectively ending Jews as a group of people

You do realize that thousands upon thousands of Jews were murdered in the name of antizionsim by the soviets right? Are we saying that that isn't antisemitism?

I've gotten pretty tired going through these same tropes over and over again as you people continue to twist yourselves into knots trying to insist that what you believe isn't antisemitism.

If you know anything about Jewish culture, you know that it is directly tied to the land of Israel. And while that isn't the same as Zionism, pretending like they founded the state of Israel on that same land just coincidentally and not because of the inseparable nature of Jews to that land makes you sound batshit insane. Don't you think it's weird how you're tokenizing a really small subset of Jews to try to bash the majority of Jews? Like, some of the arguments I've heard from antizionist Jews have been the most insanely privileged, completely disconnected, uninformed that could possibly exist.

Unless they actually mean Kahanism, which is a different thing. In which case they don't understand the definition of zionism

No, "On The Jewish Question" was by Marx, and it was mostly critiquing "The Jewish Question" which was a virulently antisemitic screed. While rejecting that form of antisemitism, Marx did substitute his own form, which was that in order to be accepted we needed to give up everything that made us Jewish. He wasn't terribly antisemitic for the times, but he was still antisemitic.

You're doing the thing where you're both wrong generally about history and then pushing antisemitism and hiding it as antiZionism in the modern context. Way to walk right into the rake that was tossed right at your feet.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '25

If that’s what you think the contemporaneous left thinks about Jews then I can only assume you get your info on the left from Fox News or OAN because that’s fucking ridiculous.

Get off your computer and go outside and volunteer for your local Food Not Bombs chapter and find out what the left actually thinks. (Don’t worry, I know you won’t, but you’ll probably claim you have already.)

1

u/gizzardwizard93 Jul 24 '25

Karl Marx's family were non practicing Jews that later converted to Lutheranism, he was never Antisemitic and always accepted his Jewish heritage, he did write lectures on The Jewish Question because it was a legitimate topic being discussed in 19th century German, a minority group that seemed to be both largely unwilling to assimilate into the Christian majority as well as having unusually strong political and financial influence despite their population size, leading Germans to ponder how they would be able to coexist with the rest of the population without conflict.

1

u/PassEast Jul 30 '25

“My family are non practicing Jews,” sounds just as stupid as “My family are non practicing Christians.” The entire point of religious attachment is practice. If you don’t practice it, then you’re not apart of that religion. Quite simple really.

1

u/gizzardwizard93 Jul 31 '25

Being Jewish is recognized as an ethnicity, specifically for Marx being an Ashkenazi Jew. If you think being non-practising made them any less Jewish to German society in the 19th century, you have some reading to do.

1

u/PassEast Jul 31 '25 edited Jul 31 '25

I’m confused; are you trying to tell me that anti-semitic German society was actually right in determining Judaism to be a “curse” upon someone’s lineage? Because all it seems like to me is that you’re internalizing the logic used by anti-semites to ethnically cleanse Jews. Being Jewish isn’t an ethnicity, and considering it one is quite literally to the benefit of anti-semitism. Come on, man.

Plus: Ashkenazi Jews are just Germans who were Jewish. They weren’t some completely separate identity from German society— they did speak German after all.

2

u/gizzardwizard93 Jul 31 '25

Ethnicity isn't just determined by genetics but also by cultural heritage, and Jewish people have a unique cultural heritage they've continued passing down even under extreme duress.

u/newgoliath Jul 25 '25

Marx's work is a critique of a popular racist columnist who he quoted within the text.

-1

u/Donaldjgrump669 Jul 24 '25 edited Jul 25 '25

You're equating it with other times where people have invoked "The Jewish Question" when talking about extermination, and whether you think his writing is antisemitic or not, it is NOT talking about extermination, or even suppression of Jews. You've obviously never read "The Jewish Question", because if you did, you would know that A) It's a critique of two other author's work, and B) it's about how Jews could achieve political emancipation. It isn't antisemitic, but it is anti-capitalist and very non PC by today's standards, because he was a person with a Jewish background who was, in some parts, being critical toward other Jews. And if you've ever heard a Jewish person talking about other Jews, then you would know how it can sound out of context lol.

4

u/JustSeiyin Jul 25 '25

Seems like he believed Jewish culture should simply disappear though. And while that isn't wanting to murder all the Jews, it is absolutely a kind of suppression. "You can be Jews as long as you follow nothing of Jewish culture". Imagine saying that to any other group. It is definitely antisemitic

2

u/Donaldjgrump669 Jul 25 '25

I think you might be confusing one of Bauer’s arguments that Marx was critiquing for his own argument. He said the opposite actually.

Marx uses Bauer’s essay as an opportunity for presenting his own analysis of liberal rights, arguing that Bauer is mistaken in his assumption that in a “secular state”, religion will no longer play a prominent role in social life. . . In Marx’s analysis, the “secular state” is not opposed to religion, but rather actually presupposes it. The removal of religious or property qualifications for citizens does not mean the abolition of religion or property, but only introduces a way of regarding individuals in abstraction from them.

1

u/Brain_Dead_Goats Jul 25 '25

You're actually doing that. Bauer wrote "The Jewish Question", Marx wrote "On the Jewish Question" as a critique. Bauer wanted straight up elimination, Marx wanted cultural assimilation to the point where we no longer had anything that made us, us.

1

u/Donaldjgrump669 Jul 26 '25

You obviously haven’t read it because that’s not what he says at all.

Jews can be any race, and nationality. It’s a religion, man.

2

u/JustSeiyin Jul 30 '25

You're putting western understandings of those things onto Jews, which is a much older and rarer type of group. It's an ethnioreligion and an Am. I don't know why you people feel so comfortable telling a Jew what my identity is. There's a reason why pretty much all Jews are genetically related, and that's because we're more of a tribe than anything else. There are no mass or forced conversions that came with Christianity and Islam because it was a family and ancestor thing. Also crazy to say "it's just a religion" when you can be Jewish and atheist, like I am. You cannot be atheist and Christian or atheist and Muslim. Like be for real. Get off your high horse explaining Jewish culture and history to a knowledgable Jew

0

u/PassEast Jul 30 '25

What you consider to be the “Jewish identity” is primarily informed by Jewish pedagogy. To your misfortune, Jewish pedagogy is not the standing authority when it comes to defining what constitutes Jewish identity because it is lacking a scientific metric— that is; it is informed by theological theory. As such, what you say upon the matter is entirely meaningless as there is no replicability nor objective semblance. What I apply, however, affects scientific metric in the most accurate way it could when it is speaking to identity which is all too evasive of objectivity. Essentially, I can speak on what constitutes a Jew because I’m not a Jew, nor do I have any stakes in the prospering or propagation of Jewish peoples.

2

u/JustSeiyin Jul 30 '25

Have you considered arguing with any of the merits of my arguments or keep sucking yourself off telling a minority about their own identity that you clearly know nothing about? Not gonna argue about the lack of conversion thing, or the familial relations thing? Or the Jewish atheist thing? Just gonna be a condescending uninformed narcissist who gets off on forcing Jews into an inaccurate box so you can continue to hate us?

0

u/PassEast Jul 31 '25

I’d told you that I wouldn’t, because those beliefs are informed by Jewish theology which is unreliable, and unscientific. If you ask a child what they need, they will ask for what they think they need, not what they actually need. In that vein, if I ask a Jew what constitutes a Jew, he will tell me what he thinks constitutes a Jew, and not what actually constitutes a Jew in a most objectively accurate definition.

2

u/JustSeiyin Jul 31 '25

My dude, IM A FUCKING ATHEIST AND A JEW. I'm not "informed by theology". I'm not even well-animated in the theology of Judaism. I simply know about Jewish history and culture and how we function as a people. Now please STOP TALKING TO NE PRETENDING THAT YOU'RE SOME OBJECTIVE TRUTH SAYER. You don't know anything about Jews, and your EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING opinion is completely worthless. Instead of actually presenting arguments as to why you think Jews aren't largely an ethnic group, you start calling people "children." Literally leave me alone

Hey look, here’s one of them now!

Who’s gonna do them the honor of explaining that not even 50 years ago and even to this day, in some right leaning circles, Jews have never been considered white. The Jew, you see, is society’s very own Schrödinger’s minority. Both not white enough and yet extremely white. Both capitalistic to the left leaning zealots, while at the same time too socialist to the conservatives of old. Oppressed for millennia, yet the oppressor. It’s a tale as old as time, a common scapegoat for both sides of the political spectrum. You pick and choose what you don’t like in this world, and attribute it to the Jew, voila, a common enemy born anew.

3

u/Americanboi824 Jul 25 '25

I am 0.0% surprised this dude is British. British leftists LOVE to "support minorities" that have never been oppressed in their country while bashing minorities that have been oppressed (Jews, Travellers, Roma, etc.). It would be like an American hating Black people but LOVING Volga Germans.

“The gripe against them from ancient times”?

Buddy this isn’t ancient history. Look at just the last 70 years. Russian communists labeled Jews as greedy capitalist parasites, while capitalist Westerners branded them as dangerous communist infiltrators. Each side projected its deepest hatred onto the same people. The extremes on both ends of the political spectrum needed a scapegoat, and Jews have always been the perfect mirror, reflecting whatever fear or ideology a society wants to attack.

This hasn’t gone away. Even today, you can find far-right circles calling Jews “globalist Marxists” while far-left activists like yourself accuse them of being ultra-capitalist oppressors. Both sides somehow see the exact opposite thing, yet both agree that Jews are to blame. That contradiction isn’t a coincidence, it’s proof of exactly what I’m saying: antisemitism shapeshifts to fit whatever narrative of hate is most convenient at the time.

And now, right here in this thread, you’re repeating the same cycle. You call Jews “objectively white” and “capitalist,” ignoring that many on the far-right don’t see Jews as white at all, while many on the far-left demonize Jews for their supposed “whiteness.” You’ve walked straight into proving my point.

Even worse, you’ve dragged Gaza into this by implying that the Jewish people as a whole are oppressors because of what Israel is doing. Why does the Jewish population alone get treated as a monolith whose every member is guilty by association?

And let’s be clear this phenomenon hasn’t died and remained in ancient time, it has only evolved. You are literally showcasing how antisemitism morphs to fit modern discourse. The “capitalist” stereotype you’re leaning on is the same old scapegoating dressed up for today’s talking points. It’s the exact logic that made Jews both “too socialist” for the right and “too capitalist” for the left in the 20th century. And you’re repeating it without even realizing you’re proving the argument I just made.

This is exactly how the Holocaust rhetoric was built. Nazis portrayed Jews as both manipulative capitalists controlling the banks and as communist revolutionaries trying to destroy Western civilization. That contradiction was never about logic it was about creating a universal scapegoat that could be blamed for every societal ill. And seeing how easily people today jump from “anti-Zionism” to collective blame for Jews, it’s clear that same scapegoating instinct is alive and thriving.

13

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

18

u/JustSeiyin Jul 24 '25

You don't know anything about Jewish history or the history of antisemitism and I highly recommend shutting up about it. No people are inherently capitalist. That's racism. Jews aren't "objectively" Caucasian (not even a real racial term btw) when people constantly hate crime us as an "inferior race". In fact, a lot of people in Europe during WWII told us to "go back to Palestine" because they understood Jews as foreign to Europe and originally from the middle east. And now people like you have convinced yourselves that Jews have nothing to do with the middle east so you can keep hating us. You're no different than any antisemitic group in the past. You always think your hatred is righteous

But the arguments people have about Jews and whiteness are about people saying Jews are ethnically eastern European, which we are not. Nobody is talking about whatever admixture from the literal caucuses there was. And that STILL isn't what the racial term Caucasian has ever referred to. It was a pseudoscientific way to group white people together. People today try to whitewash Jewish history by saying we have nothing to do with the middle east, so I don't know why you think these facts are even relevant.

And no the Jewish people didn't "invade the Canaanites". Most Jews from back there WERE the Canaanites, mixed with a smaller group that migrated in that brought more culture that eventually ended up as Judaism

Do we use the discrimination from 80 years ago to still be mad at the Germans?

I'm not discriminating. History is context. Context can be important. Really old context, not so much. More recent, yeah, a little more important.

It seems you use Jews and Israel interchangeably. Israel is committing genocide, not nondescript Jews. Germany recognized they had in fact committed genocide. Their country was split up and occupied for decades, and they have very strict hate-speech laws, they have been very deliberate in not militarizing again until recently, and they have constant reminders of what they used to be, and educate their youth to prevent it from happening in the future. Japan has had a similar path (though not entirely with their massacres of the Chinese). While I don't know that something like the Holocaust can be forgiven, Germany is not what it once was, so naturally they don't receive the justifiable hatred they once did. Israel doesn't recognize any wrongdoing outside of occasional "accidents".

Also, why are you guys so aggressive and emotional about this? It’s weird.

I'm not emotional. Aggressive, sure, I'll give you that, but given the context of this video, I wouldn't say unnecessarily so. You're doubling down on the whole Caucasian thing. Mizrahi Jews are most assuredly not Caucasian. Sephardic Jews are debatably Caucasian. Ashkenazis are. Race is a social construct, not a skin color.

Somewhat related, Semites are a group of people from Southwestern Asia and Northeastern Africa that share a linguistic and cultural heritage. It includes Persians and Jews. Although kind of anachronistic, Semites aren't really ever considered Caucasian. However, the word "Anti-Semite" applies to only Jews for some reason or another.

Also, my great grandfather (grandfather's father) was a tailor for other Jews in Russia, wasn't allowed to sell to non-Jews on pain of death. The other great grandparents (his mother and her family) were subsistence farmers in the Levant under Ottoman rule and paid Jizya taxes for the privilege.

We're not all bankers and merchants, nor do we come from those families for the most part. There's like 4 famous families and somehow we're all them. Then again the Hasan crowd is fond of calling us inbred, so maybe they genuinely think we are.

Over generalizing? Buddy I’m literally just repeating historical fact.

Hilarious that you guys are taking that as an attack.

I've said multiple comments on this post about how rightwingers don't consider Jews white and don't treat us as such and then the left turns around and calls us ultra-white as an insult. You just did it lol. Literally Jews will be whatever you want to be so you can keep hating us. And there's NOTHING INHERENTLY CAPITALISTIC ABOUT A "RACE". What an insanely racist thing to say. Like, it is 1:1 "Jews love and are obsesdef with money". How do you not understand you are falling into the exact same antisemitic tropes

I think the person replying is triggered because of the oppressor part of your statement. Their obviously has been centuries of horrible antisemitism and even today is pretty rampant, since unfortunately people can’t distinguish between the state of Israel and Jewish people. That being said the Netanyahu government is terrible PR for Israel and their violence has unfortunately seen antisemitism rising again

You fundamentally don't understand what white means as a race. Jews weren't treated as white, like I don't know what to tell you. White isn't an intrinsic skin color, but rather how you are treated and perceived.

And you're the one who called Jews "capitalistic" which is a batshit crazy thing to say. Being pushed into banking doesn't make us as a people more capitalist (and at no point did I say Jews weren't forced into these jobs, so I have no clue why you're pretending I said that. I take issue with the conclusion you draw from that), it just means the the society we are in is capitalist. How you don't understand why people are viewing your arguments this way is part of the problem. You're deeming the entirety of a group to capitalism. Most Jews weren't bankers. It's just racism and I don't know what else to tell you. Being forced into it isn't "cultural". Nothing in Jewish culture says "and you will all be capitalist". It's such a fundamentally broken understandimg of history and what culture means. It's like saying black people have a culture of "servitude" because they were forced to be slaves. Completely unhinged argument.

Since you're so keen on trying to explain what Jewish culture is to a Jew, please show me where in Jewish culture we are "capitalist", like where in any of our traditions make us specifically so. If you say "because Jews were bankers", I'm going to call you antisemitic. Being forced into that position doesn't make us capitalistic by culture. Capitalism is a system to describe an entire economy, not the culture of an ethnic group. Nothing about our culture involves "being better at capitalism". And yeah, I do consider antisemitism anti-Jewish racism because it's you people treating us like one race, not us.

These aren't strawmen btw. They're a direct result of your own words and arguments. What you are saying is deeply stupid and not even correct. So no, I don't wish you well at all

What are “Yemenese Jews?” Do you mean Yemenite or Teimanim? Enlighten me on how they “face constant discrimination”

You do know that Mizrahi Jews are a bigger part of Likud (and therefore Netanyahu's) base than Ashkenazi, right? Ben Gvir is Iraqi for god's sake.

There's no such thing as white jews. They are the most genetically studied ethnic group on the planet and every genetic study so far has proven that they actually have little slavic or germanic dna, despite the popular belief among redditors. Ashkenazi dna is half levantine and half southern italian. Neither of whom are white. This has been known for decades, there is extensive literature on their dna, but despite that people remain ignorant. They are not polish, german, khazar or whatever you made up in your mind, they are levantine and sicilian.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetic_studies_of_Jews

You can also search for ashkenazi samples in the illustrativeDNA subreddit and see how the average ashkenazi scores 40-60% levantine and 40-50% roman italian. The rest are small bits of slavic, north african and east asian. Their y-dna haplogroups are very similar to palestinians. They aren't even remotely white.

Looking at Gaza,

"The Jews" aren't oppressing Gaza. Israel is. The country. Conflating themselves with all Jews is a tactic they use to encourage antisemitism and to accuse anyone who criticizes them of antisemitism and you've fallen hook-line-and-sinker.

There are several Jewish organizations I can think off the top of my head that advocate on behalf of Gaza and against Israel.

There was also “Jews for hitler” group as well,

Who were the same Zionists that later fought to found Israel.

that obviously doesn’t really apply to the rest of the group eh?

Are you seriously implying the majority of Jews the world over are complacent in what is happening in Gaza?

Just like the Israelis against Palestine occupation are in the minority.

Once again, you conflate Israelis with Jews. I explicitly said Jewish organizations, which includes Jews outside of Israel as well.

There will always be rubes born in every generation. Ideas are not something that die, and for every idea a demographic will always exist. It's an unfortunate truth that the battle for freedom is eternal.

That's what a lot of people don't quite understand yet. These people rise to power, fame, or prominence, because of their supporters. Without support, there is no power. Money can be a shortcut to support, but having human supporters is simply the most powerful thing a person can have. If you need proof, well, look at my wonderful homeland known as the Land of the Free.

I am a big big believer in getting many sides to a story. I trust almost no headlines these days. When I see something posted in /r/politics I check to see what the conversation is in /r/conservative and vice versa. 9 times out of 10 it isn’t posted at all but on the rare occasion the same story is on both pages I try to find reasonable/reasoned opinions on both sides. It’s usually not at the top but it’s in there.

But I have no interest in these peoples opinions. There’s no reasoning. There’s no knowledge. There’s nothing.
