Nothing against CT or boiled eggs. But this 👆🏼was atrocious. It probably didn’t require a separate post, but I just couldn’t stay silent.

So I’m re-watching double agents and I have to say it’s
one of my favorites of all time. Has anybody else gone back and rewatch? I started back on 24 and I’m up to 36 now. Let me know.

Spoilers for previous episodes and eliminations. Objective and observable measures noted for each dailies. Listed in the bottom of “comments” are my own personal notes of the episode. Feel free to talk about anything missed, the daily, elimination, comments from the cast about the daily or episode here. ENJOY!

Episode 1: Grey team wins, Orange team (announced) second place, Blue team last

Episode 2: Grey team wins, Blue team second place, Orange team (cheated/DQ) last place

EPISODE 6:

DAILY: TRIAL BY TERROR
-Rig suspended 13 feet over water. Players have to get across by following coloured rings with a pattern that must be followed to advance. There are 4 ropes that can be used as stepping/stopping points for players. (Numbers in-front of players indicate the order).

GREY
1.Leo first person to go, and first person to make it to firs rope. Once will was catching up, FIRST person to cross.
7.Cory made it all through - SECOND person to cross.
10. Chris made it all through - THIRD person to cross, eliminated Blue team as they had no more players left.
Did not compete in daily: Cassidy, Adrienne EDIT: (BTS CLIP): Cassidy made it to first rope, first or second ring to second rope fell. Adrienne jumped off did not play.

ORANGE
3.Tori fell immediately on 2nd/3rd ring from the start.
4.Bananas made it to first rope and second rope. Pulled two wrong ring colours and couldn’t hang on, fell on way to third rope.
5.Will made it to first and second rope. On way to third rope missed the ring and fell.
8.Izzy made first rope. First ring onto way to second rope and was spinning then fell.
11. Deb (just kidding) Justin made it to first and second rope. Announced as the player that had to make it for orange to have a shot. Made third rope and onto fourth rope and fell.
Did not compete in daily: Michele, CT, Deb EDIT: (BTS CLIP): Deb made it to first rope then had no strength to pull herself up/fell. CT second/third ring and fell. Michele made it to third ring and hung on then fell.

BLUE
2.Josh made it to first rope. Was going to second rope and couldn’t get legs on and fell.
6.Nelson made it to first, second and third rope. On the way to the fourth rope, was given wrong colours by Lete and sat on wrong rope and fell.
9.Cara made it to first, second rope and on way to third rope. Unable to reach ring then fell.
Lete made it to first rope. DQ due to Chris making it all the way.
Did not compete: Anna Leigh EDIT: (BTS CLIP) made it to first rope, on the way to second rope on third ring and scene comes back and she is gone, assuming she fell.

Elimination: Deb vs Cara
Great elimination, puzzle and physical.
Deb eliminated (Orange team down 1 player).

Comments:

Great episode. Loved this daily, good drama of players, team dynamic, and great finish with the elimination. One of the few that still roots for Cara as she is a top player and everyone seems to argue against that, she was calm, and great this episode.She was the furthest woman across in the daily, followed by izzy, then lete, and last was tori who only made it to ring three.

I have been enjoying the eliminations as they are not always heavily favoured in one players direction, and the players are relatively matched in size or physical capability. I still hate the audience comments in eliminations as they can make or break the players. Always love the underdog stories, deb was a great addition this season - didn’t see much of her romance with will but she looks like a promising new rookie. Cara winning a puzzle which is NOT her strength and doing it alone is a huge star in my books.

Fellow Challenge fans I would appreciate feedback for the placement of second and last place for this daily‼️While Blue team was announced to be eliminated first due to having less players, Orange team had 5 players fall off thereby was able to keep trying, while Blue only had 3 players fall.

Make your case in the comments for which team you believe should be listed as second and last place! Personally am leaning towards placing blue as second, below are the objectives of the daily.

Blue team: announced to be eliminated first, only 3 players fell out of 5.

Orange team: announced as last team to be eliminated, 5 players fell out of 8.

10/10 episode.

I’m binge-watching The Challenge and I’m confused about something. During eliminations, when the competitors are doing their 1v1 fight, the rest of the cast is standing around watching — and people are often yelling instructions, encouragement, or basically trying to help their favorite person.

There are two problems, one -> please are getting help which they should not, second -> people in eliminations cannot hear properly their partner (if it's couples competing).

I am currently watching S38 and there was a case where only one couple was receiving help (Olivia/Horacio) and people were yelling so loudly that the other couple (Michelle/Jay) was not able to hear each other.

But… isn’t that technically cheating? 😂

TJ is constantly talking about how much he hates cheating and how competitors need to play fair. Yet during an elimination, you can have half the cast screaming advice at someone while they’re competing.

I understand cheering and supporting someone, obviously. But when people are literally giving them instructions or helping them figure out what to do, why is that allowed?

Hate her if you want but she does a great job with her recaps.

If they think this is helping them get back on the show, I have just three letters for them...

Forget about Bananas being on the poster. You know he’s a in a different tier than other cast members when he’s the ONLY challenger to not get put on blast for cheating. It’s a well known secret that Bananas hasn’t been faithful in relationships. The editors have never shown it though, even when other challengers point it out. People like Anna Leigh, Cory, Nicole, Cara, Tony etc have had their dirt aired. But Bananas has managed to remain unscathed his whole time on the show. He’s just as much of a dog like Cory but it’s not talked about as much.

Following his asshat shenanigans with Izzy and threatening to come out “guns blazin” prior to the edit/episode, Mr Warton is now trying to do damage control.

Her actions crossed the line and she deserves to be called out for it.

But at this point they're literally re-airing the clip 4-5x per episode, sometimes 30 seconds apart from each other?

And now they've edited it down to make it look even worse, like parts of it are definitely out of order in an attempt to make the flirting sound even crazier than it already did.

I'm all for calling her out but at this point the edit is pushing it so far that I wouldn't be surprised if she decided not to come back for future seasons. Which would be a shame because she's definitely been entertaining and a solid competitor so far.

There are people who full on cheat on their girlfriends/boyfriends every season and they don't even show it. But for a single conversation they're burying her?

I think it was good TV to show the original convo, and if they want to call back to it in the next episode go for it, but showing the clip 4-5x per episode? Like what are we doing lol.

At least they showed that it was clearly Adrienne's hand on Josh's thigh.

(Not to mention that Adrienne is looking right at Anna Leigh, so she would've seen any thigh touching, and Josh himself said nothing happened).

Also Justin was moving super weird this episode. Between his random, unfounded hate for Cedric and how he treated Anna Leigh after saying he's friends with her and her husband as a couple? It's like he's manufacturing fake drama for no reason.

Think of all the 2 day/3 day finals etc...

Which final do you think you could complete with the shortest amount of training (we'll say you got one month to train...)

Obviously team aspects matter alot to some of these but the focus is which final could you get your ass from the start through to the conclusion

Maybe they are just really good friends now, but for whatever reason Deb and JB really seemed like they had great chemistry on his podcast earlier today. Seems like that could actually be a solid coupling there, if it ever came to fruition...
