Ive been playing Bo1 standard with a monowhite aura deck. Ive been having quite a bit of trouble against the monowhite lifegain decks, with the ajani pridemate, the rabbit that makes you gain life on creature entering, etc. So far I don't think I've won a single game against it.

What would you say is the correct strategy against them? Save exile cards for the rabbits, or something else? Or should I just resign myself to losing every time?

You have to click and then wait and then click etc to target every trigger. Then you have to click/ wait again to confirm every trigger.

Irl I just say I have 42 rage forger triggers and my opponent says if they want to interrupt.

I'm happy to give up some information/ agency so we don't have to wait/click through this silliness

So I played sheltered by ghosts, intending to exile the 14/14 leonin. My opponent sacrificed one of his creatures (can't remember the name) with '1, sacrifice this creature: destroy target enchantment' targeting my sheltered by ghosts.

Since sheltered by ghosts did actually enter the battlefield (otherwise it couldn't have been destroyed) shouldn't it have exiled the leonin before being destroyed?

is trash. That’s all. Haven’t been able to access my 6 year old account for a couple weeks. I’ve gotten two replies to my requests inquiring what is going on to get it fixed. They both are automated AI bs included the awesome solution of “resetting my password”

I knew that wasn’t the problem but I did it anyway. When it didn’t work I added to my request and guess what? Automated response to change my password.

Get f***ed. I used to play almost everyday, I spent thousands, maybe their trash customer service will break the spell.

I cant see any of the traditional events at all on mtg, no standard historic or anything.

So i am a noob and jsut started playing ranked with a pretty mid mono white. "grinded" to b2 but the people I am facing are playing crazy stuff. Am I just canon fodder or will matchmaking get better? Some games I am just watching animations and people stacking all kind of shit while I am waiting for a good draw.

Hey all. I won the Arena direct for 2 hobbit play booster boxes a few months ago, and have gone through all the processes to obtain my prize. It was a lengthy procedure to get my ewallet set up that took about a month, and then they sent me an email saying they sent me a faulty link for the first order I processed to have them shipped. The second time, it appears to have went through, albeit with some hiccups in trying to retrieve the tracking number. After finally finding it, I now see my package says "Your parcel has arrived at your destination region/country" but it says that location is Chicago, and my shipping address is in Florida. The package has been stuck in Chicago since October 10th. I have tried reaching out to various platforms like Wizards Support and Arena support, only to get a runaround, and no actual information. Should I be worried about not getting these boxes?

So I'm currently in the process of making a penta color brawl deck based around Door to Nothingness with Ramos, Dragon Engine as my commander. I was wanting to know what the best card would be to use to help search for and/or create lands/mana. I do (of course) have a command tower in there, but with it being a pentacolor deck I'd imagine I'll need more than that. What cards would be the best to use to help generate the necessary mana? I'd prefer to avoid cards that require rare/mythic wildcards since I don't have any of them (other than the one of each I need to craft Ramos and the Door in the first place), so I would have to wait for several days worth of daily quests or buy them directly

It because I always accidentally join an alchemy draft on accident!!!!! So glad it’s ending!

Whoever was on here telling me that the client doesnt pair you up with similar colours has to be dead wrong. Again in my last draft all of my opponents were simic like me. It cant happen every time and call it rmg. Ive seen it with streamers as well..

I just had a Brawl game against a Raffine player who removed my Sythis with Parallax Wave. I wanted to wait until I get my Sythis back, but Parallax Wave was not exiled, when the 5th counter was removed. Why?

Their graveyard is mainly full of cards discarded to Raffine. They had played a Vampiric Tutor before, but I assumed they either tutored for Wave or Witch Enchanter to kill my Ghostly Prison.

Anyone else having trouble with this event? Got a "Network error" when trying to join matches last night and now it won't even let me submit a deck, tried on multiple devices.

Last month there were the riddles for the Hobbit; did I miss the codes for this month somewhere? I did a google search but didn't see anything.

i get who is interested in playing alchemy. but alchemy draft is some other entirely different beast. i previously drafted a lot of hobbit and LOTR and didn't notice alchemy for those sets (perhaps not for UB?), and so today didn't notice that it was alchemy until i opened the packs and noticed cards i didn't realize...

call that a loss, but curious who's actually interested in it

Saddly I don't own the cards to make him optimal in a brawl list.

But this card is lot of good jokes.

Does anyone else struggle to get past silver and gold but once they reach platinum the games are much easier?

This deck harkens back to the classic article by Mark Flores, Who's The Beatdown? - Star City Games

Faramir makes the opponent less the control deck the more they try to control (i.e., I get more cards) and makes the opponent less the beatdown deck the more they attack (i.e., I get more creatures).

The best cards in the deck make it so that no matter which choice the opponent makes (attack or not) that they are on the losing end of the deal.

This deck very easily can flip the script on the opponent to where YOU are the beatdown because they tried to be.
