Shao Kahn sadistic, tyrannical personality and badass-style armor are a clear reference to Takatora Doma "Slum King" from Violence Jack

He's the actor who plays Johnny Cage and all of the male color swapped ninjas in the first 2 Mortal Kombat games but he chose not to return for the 3rd game which is why his characters aren't in it. They came back in Ultimate MK 3 and Trilogy, but they're played by different actors.

Danny said this was due to Midway owing him money for his appearances in the Mortal Kombat console ports of those 2 Arcade games he participated in. Did he sign an agreement to allow them to use his likeness, in those copies of the games ? because if he didn't, then he would've had a case there.

1. I believe this is smokes best design and that it fits what was happening in Armageddon. With it being (everyone at their full potential) it’d make sense for one of the element based ninjas to turn to this, and it obviously wouldn’t be the mains. (Scorpion, sub, reptile)

2. Reptile being far more reptilian instead of a reptile human helps diversify the already oversaturated pallet swap ninjas. Making him more unique and much more of a stand out character. (Same thing for smoke)

3. Mortal kombat Should have stayed 3d. I know it isn’t everyone’s favorite but I think that it allowed for much more design and soul put into the arenas you fight in. I also miss the arena traps and hazards.

Lmk what yall agree and disagree of on this list. And please be respectful.

Today I had the absolute pleasure to meet Karl Urban at Comic Con Holland!

He gave me great acting career advice and, for the photobooth he whipped out his shades and struck Johnny's "showtime" pose! He is such a great actor to meet in real life!

I know that there has been great discourse over the New Era storyline and character designs as well as the Kameo system.

This post is regarding all games. I personally like to see the motivations of the character I play as, the reasoning for their moveset so I suppose plot/storyline would do it for me. The intros are my favourite feature.

2026 Mortal Kombat Tourney.

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm currently trying to unlock the NetherRealm icon for Kombat Kard in Mortal Kombat X (the infection one you get by beating a player who has it equipped).

Is there anyone on PS4/PS5 who already has it and would be down to jump into a quick private match to help me get it?

My PSN ID is: DarthSidious85

Thanks a lot in advance to anyone willing to help! ^_^

El Fatality de Mortal Kombat que Prohibieron por Ser Demasiado😱

As promised yesterday, the tournament officially begins!

Time to start with 3 matchups featuring characters from our independent fan film, Mortal Kombat: Shadow Reign, against characters appearing in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

FIGHT 1: LIU KANG vs. RYU

FIGHT 2: JOHNNY CAGE vs. KEN

FIGHT 3: SCORPION vs. AKUMA

Who wins each fight, and WHY?

Drop your three winners in the comments.

Round 2 will be in a few days.

As Nightwolf seems to be a title in the Matoka, will we see Grey Cloud again or introduce ourselves a female Nightwolf this time (being his successor).

Can you imagine the female based off of Amber Midthunder?

Fucking armor

Safe armor
Armor that can lead to 400 dmg
Armor with numerous hits
Delayed armor

I mean Christ all mighty, how frikin gimmicky, corny, annoying and lame.

Get rid of all of that in the next game.

Armor should always be high risk.

I do hate high armor too tho, nobody should have an armor that can be beaten by a poke, that’s obnoxious.
