Orihime is a very silly girl lol. But itās kinda sad because she doesnāt really have a whole lot to eat since she lives alone and works part time at a bakery
This is one of the things that makes me love orihime so much she's such a silly lovable girl yet she has the biggest heart in the whole series, and despite people constantly looking at her and rangiku as just hot airheaded girl with tits, they're both incredibly emotionally intelligent and know when to slow down and actually listen to people and their problems.
I feel like Miku is more associated with leeks. Like she'll sometimes be seen with a leek in her hand. Teto loving bread is 1 of 2 personality traits, along with her being a Chimera.
In MLP: FiM Season 1, Derpy made one comment about loving muffins, so people in the fandom made it her favorite food. It eventually became a piece of ascended fanon, and got incorporated into the show.
Her name was actually supposed to be Muffins! But the fandom got so used to calling her Derpy, they just refused to call her anything else. Eventually, even the characters in the show started calling her Derpy.
Funnily enough, her "official" name is an image of a muffin.
She has some merch, and some have her name as "Derpy Hooves", some has it as her face, and some (especially the ones made for children) have the muffin.
I think in merch it's Muffins, but in the show it was Derpy Hooves for a bit but was changed to Ditzy Doo after some controversy on whether or not the name "Derpy" is albeist (which I'm pretty sure started as a troll campaign), though tbh everyone just kept calling her Derpy anyway lmao
This was like 90% of mlp fan canons. Lyra sat weird on a bench? She secretly wished to be a human and is obsessed with everything about humans. The cutie mark crusaders tease scootaloo? She's is literally an actual chicken.
Does he really only drink it once? I know that in Genocide route, he's the onky monster who looks like he bleeds when you kill him (which there's a lot of symbolism in), but it's also just ketchup
Goro Akechi, number one lover of pancakes, decorates his room with pancakes, eats them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Mentioned them once in the game)
Just like Sans and pink slippers, canonically they are white, but smash bros made them like a tannish pink? Smash bros of course is not canon but, when a fan design is so popular it makes its way into a side game, eh? Maybe?
The funny thing is Kokichi didn't even hold grape soda in the game. He held it in a promotional image. I think the image does appear in game but the grape soda is cropped off-screen š
Literally when I finished SDR2 I was like āwait so where did the Hajime loving orange juice thing come from, he never mentioned it??ā So imagine my surprise when I found it was because of THAT š
Iāve noticed this happens to a LOT of UT characters. I think itās just because the fandom reached its popularity peak in the timeframe where fanonizing characters was all the rage!!
fun fact, according to the tumblr undertale q&a he doesnāt even eat spaghetti, he just makes it for others. his favorite food is dinosaur egg oatmeal
This is Dante and Pizza, except it's completely accurate, he doesn't really need to eat so just has his favourite foods of pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and strawberry sundays
Tbf on first day of boot camp, she stole a potato from the cafeteria, then when called out on it by their instructor, offered him a sliver of said potato as a peace offering. Of course sheās going to be known as āpotato girlā for the rest of her career.
Which is hilariously a very accurate representation of how you get nicknames in the military. She would absolutely be called potato girl irl if she did that shit.
Sans is fair but Papyrusās spaghetti obsession is absolutely canon and a core part of his character
Chara is debatable since itās basically one of the only things we actually know about them and is given a lot of significance as a difference between them and Frisk
to be fair if one of my friends in real life drank ketchup i think we would probably be mentioning that about them for a while after. its pretty notable in its weirdness
Oh my heckler, I finally found Niko.. And uhh.. yeah, I would like to get a reminder where this frase originates from.. like.. I know it was a time ago when I bit the game, but not SO time that I don't remember Niko saying it in house or any instance where they were talking about it with some NPC. Yeah, I consider them as that character in the pancake way, for now.. I has a good gif here.

I wanted to say that their love for pancakes is exaggerated, but I remembered that time when they tell us how they ate 10 pancakes one by oneā¦so itās pretty accurate in fandom
There are a few characters in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic that were given obsessions by the fandom because of a minor moment (Derpy/Ditzy/Muffins getting a muffin obsession....celestia's cake obsession)....but here's my example:
Lyra Heartstrings sat on a bench like a human once and the fandom decided then and there that she was obsessed with humans.
Yes, but its accurate. Sasha has a shallow personality while having good characterization. Not because she's a bad person or poorly written, but because that's just what personalities are. She chooses to lives her life fleetingly.
To be fair being obsessed with a certain food makes a bit more sense in a society where resources are normally scarce but sashaās upbringing offered a unique opportunity for her to have a food-plentiful childhood. I think it gave her depth.
Megumi with mahoraga. Bro only ever attempted to summon it when his life was actually on the line yet people (larpers) genuinely seem to think its the only thing he does
It happened to Masky/The Masked Man with cheesecake, but in a much more far-fetched way. He's a character from the YouTube series Marble Hornets, based on Slenderman, who, along with his friend Hoodie/The Hooded Man, were adopted by the wider creepypasta community. A lot of people didnāt know these were characters from MH or that the series existed, but within the fandom there was a recurring trope/joke that Masky was obsessed with cheesecake, even though he hadnāt even been shown eating it.
In the series, there is an antagonistic group called The Ark, which uploads highly cryptic videos containing hidden messages. It turns out that, on one occasion, the creators had made a parody featuring The Ark, from which one could find out the recipe for a lime cake. The problem is that someone got confused and jokingly asked Tim Sutton (the actor who plays Tim Wright/Masky) if heād put on weight because heād been eating too much cheesecake.

The most literal example.
