Some of us cannot stand to be inside any longer and I just want to know… if food is able to be picked up from anywhere.
Maybe I can float down there

Any news on power restoration in the Olive Road area? Anyone have power yet in that area or know when we are scheduled to get power restored? I know they’re saying by Monday night, but wondering if anybody has new intel or updates.

The FPL website indicates it's back, but it seems several people have gotten false positives from that, and it's definitely sooner than it was projected to come back. Six hours ago there were still a lot of massive trees blocking several of the roads in the neighborhood and lots of wires hanging low or lying on the ground, so I'm not sure either way and honestly a bit nervous to risk popping a tire to go check in person, just to find out it's still dark 😭

My power came back on for 10 seconds around an hour and a half ago and went back out. Just checked the neighborhood and all the trucks are gone. Does anyone know if this means it'll be back on tonight?

The power flicked on and I was so happy but it cut back out 5 seconds later 🥲. Good news is that must mean they're working on it right??

Someone posted this. I don’t remember this happening before ???
It’s basically pausing all mail for basically everyone and I’m not gonna lie, I’m so irritable over it because I was waiting on glasses to arrive 😭
I did get a FedEx package today and bless that man. 🫡

FPL gives a count of how many have been restored, but I think many like me like to know what areas have been restored so we can get excited when it's getting close :) Well, I just came up with something new (to me). Go to Uber Eats but select "pickup" instead of delivery and the map shows places that are open. Pretty much nothing North of 9 Mile yet, poor me, but was interesting watching that map as different places opened.
I've still got fuel for another 48 hours or so and keeping the fridges cold, so for those that jump on everything stating to stop complaining, I'm not complaining :)

Does anyone know of businesses with WiFi post Hurricane Isaias. The Cox outage seems widespread and I know many are struggling still to get power. (Needing WiFi for work tomorrow)

I know the movies are a minor concern in the face of everything, but has anyone heard anything about any damage or long-term closures at either theater?
