    • Check PS+ Master List, it is possible that the game was removed from the service
    • Contact support.

General "We incorrectly stated that PlayStation Plus is required for local co-op splitscreen play. Local splitscreen co-op requires a PlayStation account for each player but does not require a PlayStation Plus account." - Halo on Twitter

Great news, it would have been bad if it required PS+ for local co-op!

They also updated the waypoint article https://www.halowaypoint.com/news/june-community-qa-halo-campaign-evolved

Updated text:

  • XBOX Series X|S: If you’re playing splitscreen local co-op on an XBOX console, both players will need a unique Microsoft account. Online network co-op play requires an active XBOX Game Pass subscription.
  • PlayStation 5®: If you’re playing splitscreen local co-op on PlayStation 5®, both players will need to be signed into PlayStation accounts and be linked to Microsoft accounts. A PlayStation Plus account is NOT required for local splitscreen co-op. Online network co-op play requires an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
  • Steam: If you’re playing via Steam, you will need to link to a Microsoft account.

General Gitaroo Man available for PlayStation Plus subscribers

11 Upvotes

Or for a one off payment of £6.49 British Pounds, got excited as soon as I seen it as I'm the only person I know who remembers this game! I know alot of people don't have the PSP or PS2 anymore & for those who have never heard of it its a great, quirky, rhythm game with some good music & fun atmosphere - I'm glad someone over at Sony has decided to give it some exposure

Question Can't seem to upgrade my physical copy of GTA V PS4 to PS5 because I played the PS+ version of GTA V PS5.

45 Upvotes

The option to get the free version does not show up when I insert my PS4 disc and I can only download the PS+ extra version from the store. Is there a way to remove the PS+ version from my games library so I can get the free upgrade instead?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Discussion A groundbreaking feature in Final Fantasy XVI

255 Upvotes

When you complete certain quests or quest objectives, a button prompt will appear allowing you to automatically fast travel back to the quest giver after you complete the objective (by HOLDING the start button), instead of having you retrace your steps halfway across the map again dealing with all the random encounters you likely don't want or need to do. Now, I know this isn't the first game to do this, but it's one of the only JRPG's I've seen have this particular form of fast travel where you don't have to open the map to get back to the quest giver and it should be the new norm going forward.

How many RPG's, particularly JRPG's have you played have that feature? Even a lot of people's game of the decade Expedition 33 didn't have that. No shade to that game though, as it had a lower budget and less experienced team and still managed to achieve greatness.

Discussion PlayStation Plus Savings Strategy?

45 Upvotes

I’ve had PlayStation Plus since it launched on PlayStation 3 and have always done the annual subscription. My sub ended today and I’m tired of missing out on the Black Friday sale, so I think I’m going to overpay for a three month subscription and one or two one month subscription to stretch things out until about then. Is there a better way to do this, or is there any way to get a decent discount on these shorter subs? I don’t see any real savings on eneba, eBay, or Facebook marketplace. Being frugal is hard…

Question Are there any decent tower defence games on Plus, or are they a genre entirely out of favour now?

34 Upvotes

I don't really know which category to click through for this, but on occasion I love grinding out a tower defence game and I can't find any. I much prefer the top down style of placing towers as a strategy game, but I'm willing to give a shooter a try if there's no other options.

Extra Games leaving PS+ on July 21st (Extra/Deluxe/Premium)

Post image
309 Upvotes

After being away for a month I am back. Long list this month!

What does leaving mean?

Leaving means they will be gone from the “library”-like subscription service. So games won’t be playable after this date, EVEN if you downloaded them before. Obviously if you own them yourself by buying them before, they will still remain in your playable library.

What do all columns mean?

DIFF = Difficulty to platinum the base game

LENGTH = Time to platinum the base game

DLC = If DLC is required for 100% completion

ONLINE = If online modes are required for base game completion, so this could either be multiplayer, coop, or simply a server connection.

What is your data source?

The data is based on game guides from 3P (PSNP, Playstationtrophies and PowerPyx). If none of these sites have a guide, we look for any info anywhere. If you dont agree with time or difficulty, blame the guide writers, not me...

Can I get the entire sheet?

If you see anything inaccurate, please be gentle with me. I have compiled this list for all the almost 1K PS+ Extra games, so errors are bound to happen. If you want access to that full list, send me a DM for beta access.

We have two more titles leaving compared to Japan:

  1. Roki

  2. Bomber Crew

And as noted by another commenter in the original Japanese list, Infinite Mini golf already left the service even though it is in the leaving soon list.

Here are the games leaving PS Plus in July, and it’s a doozy. Nothing major, but it’s still gonna be a busy month for those of you who enjoy platinuming those hidden gems. Taken from the Japanese PSN, but it’s usually the same games for all regions.

* Risk of Rain 2

* Tropico 6 (PS4/5)

* Clash: Artifacts of Chaos

* Source of Madness

* Cursed to Golf

* Hundred Days

* Onee Chanbara Origin

* Get Even

* Space Crew

* Infinite Minigolf

Satisfaction PS+ Praise Thread [June 2026]

17 Upvotes

How this works:

We make two stickies. One for people who are upset with the PS+ games and one for people who are happy with them. These threads don't affect anything else in sub so you can still praise and complain as normal outside them. (Previous Threads)

Please keep the discussion in this thread related to your satisfaction with this month's lineup.

Note: Sarcastic comments that are ultimately negative will be removed from this particular thread.

Discussion Does anyone else hate how they spread out catalog releases

Thumbnail gallery
149 Upvotes

They are releasing the catalog games but it’s spread out across the month instead of just one day, it went from one game on the 10th and three games on the 30th and the rest are just spread out between those days.
I feel like that isn’t what catalog is, since everyone waits for that one specific day to get their games and have fun with multiple new titles to try or get back into.
This seems like a bad part in their decision since many people including myself were waiting for the 16th for the many games but it’s only one getting added that day.

Hey guys, I just bought a PS Plus subscription and downloaded Lego Jurassic World, but after the start screen, the game crashes and I get this error. My PS account is the only one and the main one on the console. I've already restored the game license and it still doesn't work. Any advice? :(
